The most beautiful and historically important site of Baku. I would recommend you to take a whole day to wander around at this place.

A great protected living with remains of centuries old reservoir and secret passages. Still the buildings are maintained. A very neat place to visit.

Old City ... I thought it might be something like Sanaa but the place is perfectly manicured and maintained. You cant really tell the buildings are that old because every single corner is restored to absolute perfectness. But its still a lovely place to wonder around. The quality of souvenirs I found rather high, no Chinese made things, which was great. There are tour operators that show you great pictures of places but the ones I picked were rather mediocre in real life so you might want to find out ahead of time what you want to see. I always wanted to see it and although it wasnt anything like I imagined, I still recommend seeing it.

This place is a very nice and good . It is a tourist place where you can find different shops Antica There are many shops there and its really good to walk there afternoon where is no much heat specially at summertime; you can enjoy walking & drinking coffee or juice and discovering azrabizani culture

Nice place to see. But I preferred to go there by taxi only.There are beggars on the street. Take care of these people. Theyre asking 5 mannat.I went there with my family. These beggars, dont even respect our privacy.Overall a bad experience.

Suggest going when it’s not too sunny. Make sure to pin your location if you take a car cause you might get lost

This city is definitely one of the most beautiful and old cities I have visited. It is well preserved and it has that medieval presence.

Neat and clean historic town, must visit for Baku tourists. Visitors must be in sneakers to walk around whole town for real feel

Slightly crowded. Parking outside the Fort only. Getting a parking slot is difficult. Prices MUST BARGAIN. A few locations need tickets. The miniature books museum is a must visit.

This is super place having everything - historic buildings, museums, cafes, restaurants, and even historic buildings turned into the hotels. It is big enough to spend a day and almost everything is free to visit.

The Old Town in Baku is a lovely place to be at. I loved my stay of 7 days in the city. Lovely people and lovely cuisines.

Take History lessons here, it has best places to take pictures on your trip. I am not much of a photographer but Its beautiful for sure. Must visit place. (It may be tiring for old people because of long walking distance.)

If you want to experience old baku city this is the place to look for.. i will recommend to use the public transport there is metro to icheriseher and you can walk down the nizami street and capture cool pictures on your way.

I took metro train from Icherisheher to Nariman metro station and 10 minutes walk going to Heydar Aliyeb museum.

The old town of Baku city is a place of history and a souvenir stop.A place full of history around every corner. You also can get your currency exchange here is have foreign (except this💶💵that can be changed easily.Just across the street you can have a walk at on of the oldest premade seasides.

If youre a lover of history and the old spirit of the cities this is a very good place to take a long walk.I remember wandering there for about 5 hours before sitting in a coffee to keep admiring the view of the old city walls.I recommend visiting this place by day and also by night, since it looks very different and very unique at night too. And less crowded of course.Its better to have a local guide, if youre interested in the history, its very useful.There are stalls to buy local and historical items. They accept only cash no debit/credit cards payment.Public toilets available.Parking available.

Baku old town, historic, beautiful. I love it!

If youre visiting Baku, you must visit Old Town, historical streets and buildings, very small alleyways and a lot of stores around, not all of them provide payment by card, so you might wanna have some cash. Walking through this place is like travelling back in time, it is very safe with policemen all around. You wont regret it.

A great place to get more closer to AZ history and walking through the streets of old town during the day or night is a great feeling....

Baku old city Is amazing and gorgeous. Lots of sites lots of restaurants and lots of souvenir shops. Very interesting and you can take some great pics.

The old town is a lovely place to get lost in. Enjoy the cobblestone paths, the homes, uneven stairs, sweet stray cats and the cute murals on some structures. There are some attractions in the old town like the palace, Maiden Tower and Miniature Book Museum that one explore especially if its your first visit to Baku.There are too many guides here who might annoy you selling their services so try to keep them at bay politely. However, beware that google maps may actually confuse you or not work at all, and you might get lost in the alleys. This is frustrating on a hot day.Also, it is best to visit old town during the day and avoid going after dark keeping in mind that one can easily get lost here.
