IceStone Gelato in Middlesbrough

Please start doing freaky shakes again ! Sounds like I have to start a petition for freaky shakes. 😭😭😭😭I hate new menu , no one likes it . Not going back because I was only going there for freaky shakes.

Since the new menu has been introduced the changes are not for the best!!! Management unwilling to offer allergy alternatives which were available before. Really disappointing as it wasnt really a big ask (strawberries and a melted chocolate potopted for a single scoop of ice cream which tbf they did clean utensils before giving but wow the portion size was disappointing!! We were served our one scoop of ice cream in a sauce dipping pot. The smallest pot known to man kind. One scoop of ice cream was the size of a teaspoon. Even my 7 year old looked at me asking where the rest of it is. Not really worth the price you pay. Left feeling very disappointed and unfortunately will not be returning. I appreciate everyone is struggling but to increase the price and then reduce the portion size isnt really on!!

Just came in with my son to have some delicious waffles.We were served straight away and the waffles arrived very soon looking absolutely fantastic and taste very well. The plate looked really cool. We will be back definitely.By the way, the staff was friendly and the place was clean

Friendly staff and great selection of ice creams. Some of the flavours can be a bit hit and miss but you can ask for a sample before buying to make sure you like it and dont waste your money.

Absolutely amazing place we walked quite far out the town centre to get to it but it was well worth it we got 2 cookie doughs which were amazing and a mango Sundeau that was extremely huge

I ordered desserts and then had a phone call from ice stone to say they don’t have the dessert at the store and they can’t give me a refund. They told me to sort this with ubereats. If you don’t have something in stock it should be displayed as unavailable.The waffle remaining on my order arrived late, cold, poor quality and stodgy with stale tasting Ferrero Rocher on top. The ice cream was also very poor quality, half melted and had very little flavour. Overall, shocking for a place marketing themselves as gelato/ice cream being the specialty.

Chocolate brownie cookie dough was very nice. Will be visiting again.

Ill give it a 5 stars because they have a very tasty cakes, amazing! Also, what I like most is their pancake, so delicious 😘

Devastated. Seriously let down!We ordered online and were quoted 20-30 min delivery time, after about 45-50 mins of waiting we called the restaurant and the order hadn’t even left. However we still waited understanding it was busy. We called again 30-40 mins after and it was ‘on the way’. By the time it arrived it had nearly been 2 hours! Again normally we would have excused this, but it was a complete mickey take what we received. ‘Ice blast’ arrived and were only what I could say cups of ice with no flavour, cookie dough came burnt and stone cold, and my partner revived something he didn’t order.Not one to ever leave reviews, but this was abit of a joke. Big let down, as I had high hopes for what I had seen.

Very ambient place!!Good seating with plenty of space!!Variety of dessert options with very delicious taste!!Parking by the roadside available free out of hours!!Per person service on average 4-7£!!A good taste in town!!

Super Delicious, I want to go again and again.I took my great niece who disgraced me by finishing her dessert whilst I struggled to clear my plate.

Absolutely amazing kinder bueno waffle and chocolate fondue nowere can compete with this place food delicious and staff very friendly always 1st class very recommendable you cant visit Middlesbrough without trying here 😍x

First visit to Icestone Gelato, lovely set up, plenty of seating booths, spolit for choice... so much cake, ice cream, waffles, crepès and much more. Not crowded, very clean and staff were great. Portion sizes just right any bigger and it would have been too much and too sickly.

I think the Indian staffs should take the "Customer Service Course". in order to know how to deal with the customers because they dont know how to treat well the customers. Its a sad thing !😔

Manager and staff very nice and welcoming. the white chocolate mocha and falooda were tasty. Will be coming again.

A little disappointed this visit. It was clean and well presented covid signs were up about patrons wearing masks however, the staff were not wearing masks except one who only covered her mouth. The Indian variant is spreading and we were nervous. When others known to the staff came in they were not wearing masks either. The food was very nice as usual however our tea was cool when it arrived as it had been ignored while the staff chatted. It was not busy and it felt like customers are not important to them. I was suprised as this is usually a great experience.

I ordered through just eat at half past 8 and it is currently 20 to 11 and still no food I have rang the restaurant and they said it shouldnt be more than another hour.

I got falooda today from there no way near no taste in ice cream they should use matka kulfi with that instead of normal ice cream

Order online - arrived and was nothing like what we ordered. Rang up to query this, guy who picked up didnt want to deal with a customer so handed off to someone else (??Other person then tried to throw the Ubereats driver under the bus for giving us the wrong order. The driver gave us the bag THEY prepared which even had our receipt in, it was our order - that they got wrong. Its becoming too easy and commonplace for fast food places to blame delivery drivers for their mistakes. Poor driver. Wont order again.

The service was excellent! Me and my 12 cousins/sisters and brothers decided to visit this place. We were ordering but the only thing they had was cookie dough. They didnt even have vanilla ice cream. Suddenly my 4 year old cousin started crying. A staff member came by a gave my 4 and 5 year old cousins sweets. I thought this was a wonderful action. I think they had no food because we came very late at night. I totally recommend this!

I ordered an oreo cake for my son but when I got home I discovered they gave him cheesecake (which he hates). I ordered ferro Roche cake & it was not only stale but tasted like a cheap £1 chocolate cake with an out of date chocolate on the top. It was awful. I definitely will not be going back.

Avoid! - PAV, the manager really went out of his way to be so rude to our children. A very nasty man. A really horrible experience for our children. Theyve been traumatised.Children should be protected not abused.He should be sacked!

Been twice now. Falooda, cake and ice cream very nice. Staff always friendly and happy to assist. Would highly recommend to anyone.. compears very well to the high end desert places in London.

One of the workers were laughing at me and my sister with another customer in-front of us, made me feel uncomfortable as i did not know what they were laughing at us for but desserts were nice.

The staff was okay, the shop was clean but the waffle I ordered for was too sugary for a waffle and the ice cream was tasteless. It wasnt worth the price, the creeps was toosoggy. I wouldnt recommend this place

Tasty treats for any taste, vegan options available. Gelato we tried was great, but some flavors are quite quirky. Cozy interior, lots of sitting space. Staff is nice. Would come again.

Tried Falooda and Strawberry Mojito... the worst falooda nd Worst Mojito Ive ever had here. Plus the napkin you only get 1 per person, as If you ask for more, staff says sorry but We can not give you more as per boss order as They are extremely expensive, I mean really?So we cant even get enough napkins. Cheap place, worst service and very stingy environment. I must say Ellie the worker, She is really good as she kept on asking If we were ok... as she could see us getting disappointed.Make sure, If anyone is heading again to this place you carry a bunch of Napkins with you.

Definitely the best desserts in Middlesbrough really high quality food, good portions and beautiful presentation of the food. Staff are also very inviting and friendly. Good atmosphere.

Mega expensive and not that good. There just shotting together cheap ingredients and passing them off as premium desserts. Milkshakes only worth chucking at politicians.

This place is amazing! Staff were lovely couldn’t do enough for you. Had the Oreo cheesecake it was delicious! Daughter had cookie dough which was gorgeous. Nice surroundings too. Will definitely be going back to try something else.

I went with my wife to have dessert and i enjoyed the ice-cream. We got the pistachio ice cream it was really rich, creamy and full of flavour. The staff were extremely friendly. The place looks lovely. My new go to ice cream place now forget about creams.
