Ice Palace Night club in North Babylon

HORRIBLE customer service by Luciano Bruna!!! He was incredibly rude & definitely did not possess proper people skills especially for a resort which by the way this is definitely not a resort! I travel all over the world for my work & have stayed in incredible true resorts with impeccable customer service & have never been treated this way! Because of this treatment by Luciano Bruna, I would never stay at the Ice Palace again & will definitely inform all my business contacts, family & friends of this treatment! You definitely have lost loyal regular business because of Luciano Bruna!

It was really slow Wednesday (7/21night- maybe 2% capacity. The 2nd bartender charged me nearly double what I paid 30 minutes earlier and then shortchanged me a buck. When I pointed that out, his reply was 2 bills must’ve been stuck. (Wouldn’t that mean I got and extra buck?So- no tip for him, but one for you.

Always love coming here during the day especially when the weather is nice. Fantastic shows and entertainment inside at night. Hotel is also the best in town

Fun fun fun place to hangout. Pool drag shows in the afternoon on weekends and drag shows as well at night.

Friendly and fun

Greeted by a beautiful bartender who had to tell us, three times over the course of the evening, that he did not have a bar back and the Friday night crew left him with a mess. Overheard him scoff at a customer placing an order for four drinks.....four. Then, he also charged girls for bottled water while giving free water to the guys who came to the bar....even if those guys were straight with their girlfriends. So, this display of archaic policy was embarrassing especially to our group of 23 out of towners who heard nothing but great things about Ice Palace and Fire Island in general. The rest of the progressive gay business gay community doesnt operate with disdain, scoffing and alienation against our allies. Just show everyone a good time! And, management should support the staff so they dont air their complaints to any customer who will listen--willingly or not.

We booked a room a few months back at the Grove Hotel for Fire Island Bear Weekend, 6/8-10, and they just canceled our and all reservations because "they were not ready." EXACTLY ONE WEEK BEFORE THE EVENT!!! They didnt even bother to help find other accommodations, and refused to respond to any of our emails requesting their help. They ruined our weekend that we so looking forward to.....one of the WORST experiences with a hospitality business ever. Because of them, I will no longer go to Ice Palace either. They just have bad vibes.

Gosh I love this place at times. The parties on Friday nights are truly the best on Fire Island every week. And various events the rest of the week are worth your time. Wednesday nights are definitely a lot of fun. Just take a deep breath, leave your cares at the door and have a great time. Cannot wait to go back this summer!

The world would not be as interesting a place without the Ice palace. Best sound system this side of Manhattan.

What a place this is. A superb little nightclub, although the different coloured chairs that shine into your eyes when your trying to pet the dog is a bit infuriating. The lizard king, or the owner as he is called, allowed me to bring a snow cone which was partially melted which was cool of him. Overall not a bad little place, infidelity would bring the in laws and kids.Regards Brad

I am a former employee there and One night I stayed there, I stayed for free and still feel like a should have a refund. The beds are more like cots and the room is very out dated. It smells in the rooms and the bathrooms are small and not clean. They dont change your sheets while u stay there. The stairs going to the upper floor rooms are falling apart as well as the decking in most of the place. Seems to me they just give a cheap coat of paint and call it a day. Its unsafe for the crew and for the guests alike. The store is nice and the dance floor/ bar is nice but still could use and update. The new owner DAVE is not a nice guy to work for. If you are looking to over pay for a dirty smelly run down hotel then this is the place for you. if not there are other options that are walking distance from the ICE PALACE. Hope this helps.Point of this post save your money and stay in a nice hotel besides you will have to save your money for the small over priced drinks anyway. The entertainment there is the only thing that saves that place. sometimes that is just not enough and it will all come to an end soon im sure. I see less and less people every year coming back and the new customers have nothing positive to say about there stay.
