IT! Italy Ristorante & Café & Bar - Italian restaurant in Cordoba, Argentina
Do not eat here if you’re allergic to anything.I was meeting a friend for dinner here today. He ordered ahead as I was still at work. Repeated told the staff he has a severe allergy to sesame. Staff assures him the dishes he ordered did not have any sesame. The dishes arrive at the table. He eats them thinking everything is ok. He starts having an allergic reaction. Sure enough after asking the manager once more he proceeds to say there’s tahini (sesame pastein the sauce 🤦🏻♀️. So we’re now on our way to urgent care for treatment. Aside from the fact that they obviously don’t know what is on their dishes (including the manager - which reassured my friend several times there was no sesamewhen my friend excused himself to the bathroom already sick they acted like it was no big deal and we were overreacting. Needless to say I won’t eat here again. And I typically don’t write reviews of this kind. But food allergies can kill a person. And they clearly have no regard for that. And they all seemed not to care about the situation either. Very disappointed. Please do better.
Absolutely amazing place! We ordered the tomahawk steak special. It is a meal to share and you get 3 sides. We ordered truffles fries , broccoli, and house salad. They were all delicious . I’m the clutz that I am somehow spilled my wine and they replaced it with a very nice full glass! Wait staff are super friendly and the atmosphere is super fun.
I went to IT last night to celebrate my nieces Bday and I must say that everyone in our party said there food was very good to amazing. The Bday girl said that she wanted to try someplace new, well Im pretty sure that all of us will be coming back.My wife and I definitely will be going back in the near future.
Very disappointed. I went to this restaurant expecting to eat well and enjoy my Birthday celebration after seeing all the great reviews. We ordered 2 Fruti de Mare, one Lobster Ravioli and fries, 1 pasta carbonada. 2martini. Over $200.Not only over priced, Pasta was super old and not tasty at all. The only thing I can say was the fries were good and the free tiramisu for my Birthday was great.I called to make a reservation and they informed me that dont worry about reservation as for walk-in they had plenty of tables. Party of 4 and they gave us a high skinny table. I kept saying you have plenty of tables. They answered those are for reservation.Totally disappointed. Will never return.
Fun atmosphere, music, drink and pizza. Cool late evening hang out spot, while having a bite.
I went to dinner on Saturday for my birthday and they made me have a great time. The restaurant employees were very friendly and attentive throughout the night. Super delicious and fast food.Without a doubt, it’s a place to go back to♥️Excellent service
I went to Italy to have food and some drinks and I loved it. It was Thursday night. There was a Dj playing very good music. The drinks were so delicious I had one called appasionato, and my friend had Nespresso Martini. The food was also very good and the pasta were spectacular. I recommend this place 100%.
I went to eat with my friends last night. The atmosphere of the incredible place, very good music and incredible food. We were lucky that Tamara takes care of us, the truth is that without words. EXCELLENT service and attention.
Im frankly amazed at these reviews! Is this is the same restaurant I was at this weekend? First off, I made a reservation on-line, which I had to put down a credit card with the penalty of $30 per person that didnt show up. So if my reservation was for 3, and one canceled, I was out $30 because that one person didnt make it. if none of us went, it was a $90 charge. WOW! I guess the insult was that the restaurant was EMPTY. 5 tables and we were one of them at 8 pm Saturday. Maybe this is scaring people away? But the fun part was that in an entirely empty restaurant, they sat us next to a completely full table of "drinks only" so we were fully aware of their conversation the whole time. Now, the service, was fantastic. fast, efficient, (which I guess with only 5 full tables it would be? No doubt, the service was fantastic. The Server was uber friendly and helpful. The food - meh- on-par with a stepped up Olive Garden. I had the chicken parm and honestly, I think they dragged it through salt. I ate half of it. The others at the table felt the food was mediocre. The REAL insult was at payment time. TIP already included? nowhere was this on the menu, on the online reservation, or if there was a sign inside, I didnt see it. I go out for dinner - A LOT. I find this practice insulting. I waited tables for 5 years myself and know the frustration of a bad tip, but for a table of two to have already included an 18% tip?? Sadly for the server, I tip more than 18% as I used to wait tables, I lean more towards 25% or if the service is outstanding, 30%. For the worst service, I tip 20% because I know how tough of a job this is and what jerks people can be to wait-staff and I understand that sometimes, its just out of the control of the server, or maybe theyre having a bad night - I still tip a minimum of 20%. So the server lost out due to this policy. I wasnt going to add to it as the hand held device given to me to sign for the credit card charge suggested. Sorry, you auto tipped the meal, thats the most you are going to get. I was really insulted by this. I wouldnt bother with this place again.
I was in the restaurant with my family a few weeks ago and It was a awesome experience. The food is really good, the specials drinks were incredible!! The music and the vibes it’s amazing! Definitely we’ll come back!
A very unique place in las olas, one of the few places that is open till late. I can here with a friend for dinner, ended up getting a few drinks and hookah. Everything was great, the drinks, food, the hookah and the service. Loved the vibes here. Definitely check it out.
Came here this Saturday evening. I’ve always liked this place however I could not figure out why it’s always dead. Perhaps it’s the employees that work there. The waitress tonight was an absolute douche. So rude, unprofessional and entitled. If I didn’t know better I thought I would be in Los Angeles. The waiter although very knowledgeable, was also very rude. It’s this very nasty attitude like they are doing you a favor. The food is great desserts are amazing, if I was management I would seriously have a chat with these entitled brats.
I like the place. Its an Italian restaurant on Las Olas but its also a hookah bar and they actually have a Dj there must nights playing some pretty decent music. Its not super expensive and the food it legit. You can go dressed relaxed or dressed up and not feel out of place. Big bar with single girls looking for a sugar daddy and all the staff have always been friendly.
The food was great! & the anapasiato drink was awesome!! But the music was sooo loud that it took away from our dinner with friends. We werent able to conversate and enjoy each others company because it was so loud. Some people from my dinner party said they had been there before, but it was their 1st time there on a Friday night with the live DJ. It took a while for the waiter to get to us and get our drink orders & everything going, but overall it was decent. I would re-visit again, just not on a Friday night.
IT! Italy Ristorante & Cafe Bar was a very pleasant experience for both my Aunt and I during a visit to Ft. Lauderdale. The restaurant is in an incredible spot on the busy Las Olas Boulevard. IT! offers outdoor seating as well as an excellent menu perfect for any lover of Italian food. Our service was wonderful as we were there for a significant amount of time enjoying the view we had of the boulevard and the surrounding area. If you are looking for Italian while in the area, you should not hesitate to make your way to IT!!
The Best Caesar salad in the world! but other dishes are always different :(
THIS RESTAURANT IS A SCAM!!!!!I went for my birthday with some girlfriends. FIRST, we asked the waiter about their hookahs. He said they were 65 dollars which is already RIDICULOUSLY EXPENSIVE.. But we figured since it’s my birthday, we would try it… when it came to pay at the end, he said it’s 75!!!! I told him that we ALL heard him say 65 and he just stared at us until we paid it.ALSO, the waiter started talking about drink specials earlier on in the dinner and he implied that they were cheaper if not the same price as the typical martinis (16 dollars which is already ridiculous for a Tito’s super sweet drink)… but they were 6 dollars MORE. Making it a 22 dollar martini…. Which is absolutely ridiculous for the quality I received. We felt totally ripped off and it absolutely ruined my night. If you ever have to go, get a pasta and some water and LEAVE. because they will find a way to make you pay WAY more you bargained for.
Table of 10. Friday evening. Waiter rushed us so much. We couldnt really enjoyed our meals. Meals were right after appetizers. Food was tasteless. It tasted like frozen food. Waiter rushed us to drink and drink.I give it a 2 star for the music. Music was absolutely amazing. So was the location.I would probably go back for the music if in the area and for cocktails. Very pricey too.
I went to dinner last night, I loved the place, the server was very kind, the food was delicious and arrived very quickly at the table!!!!
I went to dinner last night, I really liked the place. The attention is very warm, the food was very good.
Getting grilled unseasoned chicken and mash potatoes for $66 with 2 drinks just for 2 guest were terrible. My friends also didn’t enjoy their food either. Iced Tea wasn’t so good so I ask to switch my drink for Sweet Tea and it WASN’T sweet at all. Being charge for 20% gratuity just for 2 guest is terrible. Music was very loud and in return the waitress couldn’t hear what we were saying and had to lean over our food just to communicate with us. They just clapped when it was time to sing Happy Birthday for us, but when IT was the white couple turn multiple waiters came out and sung Happy Birthday.IT was unseasonedIT was nastyIT wasn’t ITIT was just a overall bad experience
Beware of the prices. They charge $22 for a martini and it’s a very small one at that. Tito‘s. $22! You’re basically looking at a shot of vodka for $22. You can get a cheaper if you just buy a shot during happy hour. So during happy hour if they pour it into a martini glass they charge $22. Bring your own martini glass? Lol Lousy food, too. I ordered a chicken dish and what I got was a piece of chicken as flat as a pancake and as dry and tasteless as cardboard. I’ve eaten there twice and the food was bad both times. Also, the waiter tried to rip me off. I told him that I wanted to order an appetizer for the table and that’s when he took the happy hour menu away. I didn’t see it but one of the other people in my party did. Without realizing this had happened, I ordered an appetizer from the main menu which was twice as much money. Then we wanted to order another drink and at our request, he brought the happy hour menu back. When I confronted him about not offering us the happy hour menu when I ordered the appetizer he denied it. He just brushed it off and said the menu was there on the table. Not true! So I spoke to the manager and she did take half off the appetizer I ordered. Try another place. Or go eat at the airport. The food is better. I’m a local and I can tell you there are much better places to eat.
This is It!Literally. This is from It! Italy in Ft. Lauderdale, FL @ititaly . The first dish is the gnocchi di patate - potato gnocchi with parmesan cream sauce. And the second is ravioli di formaggio di Capra - goat cheese & sundried tomato $2 ravioli in a creamy parmesan sauce garnished with garlic breadcrumbs. Both dishes sound delicious and I’m jealous of my sister @emmyedits.png @emmyunedited for this awesome find in our hometown!
I had my first experience at IT! ITALY on Friday, last night. I had called ahead and made reservations for my 30th birthday. My party and I were greeted at a friendly manner and seated at our table immediately. Our waitress’s and waiter were all very polite and friendly. The appetizers and drinks were very delicious along with our entrees and desserts too! Very cool atmosphere, the decor love it, everything was amazing!I highly recommend and will be back again (:
Good enough but not great. Seemed overpriced for the quality. Staff was pleasant but not very attentive. Atmosphere is a bit weird. Definitely more appealing to the party crowd than a couple having an early dinner. I think there are better meals to be had for the same price nearby.
Food came quickly and with friendly service. Calamari fritti was amazing. I hadn’t had a chicken Milanese this good in a while and husband says fettuccine carbonara was exquisite. Such a pretty restaurant to enjoy good food! Will be coming back!
Let’s talk about this insane restaurant. I am still blown away that I didn’t eat here and smoke hookah sooner! First of all… atmosphere. TOP NOTCH. I can’t tell you all how amazing the air fresheners are, they smell so good. The music is the best and the overall design of the layout is eye candy at best. I started my dinner off with a French Vanilla Martini (pictured with heart designand two appetizers consisting of mozzarella sticks and flat bread. Then boom, the best hookah I got to smoke in awhile came as the final icing on the cake. Overall 5/5 experience. Excited to come back this weekend to check out the live DJ!
This was my daughter’s choice for her 16th birthday. The staff was very accommodating, we were running late & bartender was super kind on phone. Drinks were good (although I might suggest tray service to avoid 3-4 trips for first pass). Server was timely. Our group had Gnocci (2-ways); Flatbread (2-ways); Burrata appetizer w/prosciutto; Calamari appetizer; Vegan Salad; Chic Fettuccine; Grilled Chicken; Tiramisu; Flan; Creme Brûlée; Gelato; a cappuccino; 2 bar drinks; 1 Bubble Water & a few sodas. The highlights were the cappuccino (it was perfection& sparkler in Tiramisu. The chicken was well-prepared & had a lovely orchid garnish. The Gelato was delicious & my daughter enjoyed her birthday sparkler. The restaurant was very clean & I appreciated the avant-garde, designer decor & lush greenery. Overall, our dinner check was close to $400. So without a bottle of wine or an expensive cut of meat it seemed expensive for potato dumplings, pasta & one poultry dish. But I’m adding a star for atmosphere, attentive staff & cleanliness. I would return for a date night or intimate dinner. (Probably not a lager group.😊
My daughter made reservations for Mother’s Day (yesterdayand my initial excitement quickly changed to disbelief. Our server, Tamera walked up and announced rather non apologetically, “ WE HAVE NO PASTA DISHES”!At an Italian restaurant on Mothers Day???The food came and was very sub par and BLAND.The chicken was cold and very dry so I asked for a suggestion of a sauce or topping, thinking it would be tomato based and cheesy… after all I was at an Italian restaurant correct? …..Tamera recommended Ranch dressing???.Next, there was a young lady kneeling down at our table wiping the floor and she used my daughters chair to balance her as she wiped!!!!!The fact that your restaurant includes a 20% gratuity for this service is pathetic.I will not be coming back or recommend this place to anyone.IT! Italy…. You are not IT!!!
We had Ekel as our server. I had a party of 10 with no reservation and he still gathered the table for us very quickly. By far one of the greatest servers I’ve ever met. He made sure we were all good with our food and drinks. Checked up on us very often. Great customer service, as well as the other two young ladies helping him out. Loved loved loved ABSOLUTELY LOVED his care and the food and drinks. 10/10 for EKel!!!
The food, cocktails and service is ok. Not so bad but could’ve been better in my opinion. The place and vibe is kinda nice though.
The food was good and the bartender was excellent you have to try the Mangopolitian Martini made by Gaston for sure over there. Best ambiance to enjoy in Las Olas!
Beautiful experience last night!!! Amazing food and martinis,Guston & Dayan were so hospitable & sweet! We went at the last hour, still welcomed us with a smile.
My friends and I visited this restaurant on a Saturday night. The restaurant has a club atmosphere and the music was good. The food was delicious and it was ready pretty fast. I had the salmon bowl and loved it. The drinks were pretty good and the service was amazing. Everyone from the gentleman at the door to the server were friendly. The server was bilingual and had no issue taking pictures for our group. We were celebrating a birthday and he brought out dessert with a candle. We wanted to come back but ran out of time. Definitely recommend it.
Just great. We have been twice. The first time we got chicken alfredo and another pasta. Everything we have had has been amazing. The workers are super nice too!
I asked prior to seeing the food if the salmon was wild caught, two people said yes. However, I’m looking at the Salmon and it seemed farmed. I buy wild caught Salmon at least once a week. I know the difference but if you like farmed salmon then go for it. The tiramisu was good. The spaghetti is good for kids. The ambience is great.
Went here with one of my moms by chance and left very happy! We had a manager as a our waiter- the service, very good, the food, delicious, and the decor and music- on point! Hip, chic, urban- fabulous! Idk what people on Yelp are complaining about- very nice!
Pretty good but not great. I ordered the calamari for appetizer and Frutti di Mare as a main course. Both were pretty good. The linguine was served al dente which was nice however the Frutti di Mare was a little dry. More sauce and some garlic would have made it just right. As with most restaurants these days, waitstaff are in high demand. Unfortunately this was reflected here. The servers barely attended to the table. That’s not reflected in my rating as we are in unusual circumstances.
Delicious food, Quattro Formaggi potato Gnocchi are highly recommended. Fun atmosphere with the best drinks in Fort Lauderdale
I thoroughly enjoyed my dining experience here with my Mother. The customer service was prompt and friendly. The food was tasty, drinks kept full, and a great place for an out-of-towner to enjoy a respectable Italian meal with an easy to sort through menu. The most impressive thing about this IT Italy location was the impeccable customer service. I cannot remember the last time a wait staff worked together to ensure happiness. We did have a primary waiter, but at least three other employees checked on us, assisted with food service, refills, and clean up. It was a truly phenomenal customer service experience, and the most notable eating highlight on our driving visit to Ft. Lauderdale from Texas. We dined here the evening of 11/08/2021.
The restaurant is beautiful and has good service. Unfortunately the kitchen needs improvement. Food was cold when served and the hamburger had the cheese plastic divider inside the hamburger… it was a very uncomfortable moment. The waiter did not charge us for the hamburger… but my friend was not able to eat anything after that.
Beautiful upscale and modern italian restaurant in Las Olas Blvd. Excellent food quality and service. The bruschettas were delicious. The Gnocchi and the lobster raviolis were very tasty, just the right portion. We certainly made the right choice for my brothers farewell dinner.
Great restaurant on Las Olas Boulevard, cool street side terrace, very friendly and super fast service. Super awesome burger, make sure you order one of their own "IT burger" - wow, its been a while since I had such a great burger, highly recommend, five stars!
The ambiance was great! The food needed a little more flavor for my liking. I was amazed at how the service was swift on a busy night.
Stopped by for lunch on Sat 9/4. The meatballs were the highlight of the visit. Ordered chicken without mashed potatoes and double side of asparagus and it came out wrong. The espressos/lattes were weak, I discovered a prior guests face mask in between the seat and the cushion that was never cleaned. There was also a napkin in front of our table from the moment we arrived up until we left, it wasn’t ours and no one cared to pick it up. Overall the chicken and asparagus was okay but way overpriced but for what it was as well as the overall experience.
So we got sat down. And to start they offered bread & it never came. We ordered drinks, one of the Margaritas had fruit flies and a piece of napkin in it. So we let our server know he brought us another one. We ordered a steak medium rare and it came out well done. Sent that back wanted a burger instead but after everyone else finished eating, the burger still wasn’t out so we canceled it. At no time did a manager come out to talk to us or anything. So we paid our Bill and left. Overall it was the worst dining experience we ever had. When you go to a nice restaurant you expect more. Can’t rate zero stars or else I would.
*Read* I have been reviewing restaurants in the Fort Lauderdale area, and its safe to say I have found my favorite Italian food by a long shot (based on taste, atmosphere, and staff). I arrived on a Sunday around 4 PM and "IT" was not crowded so I was able to even choose where I wanted to be seated (they have beautiful booths with tons of natural lighting). Alex was my server and he is so very kind and welcoming, so for these reasons I will be back and have already recommended IT! to my friends.Thank you for a delightful experience!-Kennedy
6 stars out of 5. Amazing staff. Great food, well excellent food. Best burger ever. Again the IT burger is de-li-cious. Lived every bit of it.And the music : On point 💯Server name Eli was great. Thank you
On vacation and seated and served right away. Drinks are the BOMB nice and strong for the lunch time😁Martinis. Food was good, although the margarita pizza left a little to be desired. Creme brulee for dessert, loved it!
We had over 20 people in our party and the service was still excellent! I had the calamari as an appetizer which was amazing but the gnocchi with pink sauce is even better! The chicken Parmesan also looked delicious and it’s highly recommended.
