Intimate urban park since 1870 with statues, benches, a lake & fountain, plus a playground & gazebo.
Small park but beautiful and crowded.
Beautiful peaceful place
Nice playgrounds, decent ping pong table, too bad dogs are forbidden in the park
A great option for a weekend walk. Very few people, quiet, clean. I went with my children and even though it is not very equipped, it is not crowded at all and they played alone in the whole park
Nice for kids but also for adults. A lot of benches and a basket court .
Very nice park with good playgrounds
A small park, trees giving shaddow, benches to have a seat and cool down a little for these hot days. There was supposed to have a small pond but the water is dissapearing and dirthy.
A bucolic corner in the center of Bucharest. Very cosy and well kept. On Sundays many families go to spend the day there
One of my favorite places in Bucharest. Its a tiny park but its somehow spacious and confortable. It is pretty clean and always well guarded so its a safe place if you have kids.
A little green grass spot in the middle of concrete jungle...
Definitely better/cleaner/greener than Gradina Icoanei (that’s basically across the street). The playground could stand to get updated.Later edit: the playground got updated, but the climbing wall is already missing pieces
It is a small park but with a lot of things for kids to play
One of the still quite and clean parks in Bucharest
Nice and quiet
Small park but very nice in the spring and summer.
Tiny but clean park. Wonderful interwar buildings, most of them well maintained or restored. To visit!
So and so, I was looking for the globe but I didnt found it, I visited bthe park especially to see the earth
The lighting earth globe was the main attraction, placed pretty unfortunate above a small pond. Mud and crowd. Thats all. Nothing more.
The globe that you see in all This picture is gone (30 Dec, 22:00), and the park without it is just too small and simple.
I loved the globe, but i think there should be more amusements because they were many people after seeing the globe everyone just was bored and headed home🥲.
A very smal park with a beautiful smal lake inside 😍
A small park in an area that emanates history. Considering the size of this cosy place it has a lot of potential for families that are looking for a playground for their youngesters.☺️
Beautiful city park with historical houses around and a warming atmosfear 👍🏻
Very nice and cozy park in the heart of Bucharest
Maaan. I went to see the Earth globe placed on this park on one evening. Because nothing is happening in this town, half of it was in this park to see this shiny globe. Really crowded, people were stepping everywhere, there was no grass left, only moist dirt.I think the park is actually pretty, but not these days 😅
Nice park, saw the gaia exhibit while it was here with lights on Romania.Good for a walk
Cool park and wander around especially now during the festive season before Christmas with all the lights on.
Best artis from uk arive park ioanid until 19 december 21 enjoy
Its an interesting experience to see the Earth at a scale of 1:1.8 million here, in the park.It was a real attraction for both kids and parents passing by the park!
A small greenery oaze in the middle of the city 💚💚💚
Really adorable park,, there was a problem some time ago with a smelly toilet but it got removed and made it much better than before. (some fancy toilets got added actually!! Theyre amazing). The park is small, has a mini playground for children and it has an awesome placement close to the middle of Bucharest. The design of the park isnt the best but not the worst either. I recommend going there at least once! :D
A very cosy atmosphere as it was conceived initially as a collective garden, sometimes its crowded with playfull children, or quiet&serene in the evenings is to me one of the most intimate & beautiful parks of Bucharest.
One of the most beautiful gardens in the city, cozy and equally elegant both during the day and during the night. However, currently undergoing reconstructions (very much needed...and hopefully a lot will change for the better. The visitors though could do much more to respect this place and keep it tidy for those who will walk the alleys after them.
Its not a big park and its hidden among the villas of the center, but Ive always liked this park, specially during the springtime.
Its a nice park. You can go with your friends, your parents, your lover etc. there and have a great time. Everyone can enjoy a nice park
Lovely small park, close to Grădina Icoanei Park, small pond with ducks, playground for kids and beautiful houses around
Why dont we like grass and trees in these two parks?! There are still a lot of trees at this moment but I dont think we should take that for granted, we need to take care of them if we still want them in the future.
An old and lovely small public garden, hidden away in a historical part of the town. The crowd here is always very colorful and mixed, its a good place to let your children play. The architecture in the quiet streets surrounding the park is also beautiful.
Years ago it was a small, intimate park, an oasis of comfort in a dusty and busy city. I found a dirty place with overflowing junk bins, with so many people one has to carefully navigate the place. The benches were full. Practically the coquette park was turned into another glorious Socialist park from one of the dormitory areas built for the Working Class back in the 1960s and 1970s.And the cherry on top were the two guards, pot bellied and walking around like the deputy sheriff in some B movie. Guarding the middle class bourgeoisie walking the future generation in a trendy stroller.
Small but cute park, close to center (Gradina Icoanei zoneideal for a short relaxation.Interesting restaurants around, too (e.g. Il Villagio).
Nice green spot în the heart of the city. It is surrounded by buildings so it is easy to miss it, but if you dont you will fine yourself in a beautiful garden, away enough from the city noise.
A small but attractive park, suitable for children of all ages (playground& basketball courtand for adults as well. The tiny lake completes the picture, making it a place you want to return to.
A beautiful small park in the center of the town, surrounded by old houses. It has a little lake in the middle and a gazebo.
Perfect place to chill and spend good time and fresh air in the middle of the noisy Bucharest
This was in between WW1 and WW2 my grandfathers playground. Then mine, in 70s. Now is a magic place for the newest kids generation. Full of history, full of fun!
Tidy little park in the center of Bucharest. Great for family getaways.
Nice & quiet, clean with lots of seating areas.
It`s very small park in the middle of the city. It`s more like a big public garden rather than a park. It`s clean, full of kids playing and offer a nice and cool shelter during the hot summer days. It also has a small lake in the middle of it. It`s similar with the more well known Gradina Icoanei Park that is near by.
A quiet park surrounded by both old and new residences keeping the feeling of an old story. Very intimate. The type of park you mainly see mothers or grandmothers with the babies. Hard parking during week days.
Quite small, but not so crowded like other parks in the city center, this is one of my favourites in Bucharest. With a lot of old threes is a perfect retreat in a hot summer day. The surroundings are also very nice, so if the park is not large enough for a longer walk, you can take a stroll in this beautiful neighbourhood. But no matter the season, I often like to buy a coffee to-go from a small shop nearby and to enjoy the drink on a comfortable bench in the park.
