Ikea is always a fun place to visit. The food is a yummy bonus. The long check out lines are always a bummer, nation wide staffing shortages apparently havent spared Ikea.....

Always travel to Sweden while at IKEA just kidding... love all the new depts and displays. My as-is shop got bigger!! Got a very stylish wall clock for a song today!! Hooray!

Really nice and helpful staff. Stock can be hit and miss some days and is often wrong online. We always come into check as said they only had one of the item we wanted but they had three we wanted. Said none of another in stock and had 4. Others said had 10 and none so hard to gauge if theyve got what you want without going.

Super easy to get to as it is right off the 91. The store is usually pretty well stocked and you can’t beat the prices in their café. I love coming here even just to stroll around and browse.

I brought and bed room set on $4000 and its no good. The own told he would give me a deal on a nother bed. I brought a recliner set over $4000 and now the pillow is splitting. I could have went to Bobs and got 4 rooms of furniture. For what the junk I got here. God got it. I should go to small claims court. Only 2 yrs. And the furniture falling aplace.

The furniture is very good for starter spaces. The store is ok. Usually very clean but busy like any other ikea. Good idea to go during the week. The furniture isn’t very comfortable.

We visit this store for a variety of reasons, not just to buy furniture. We love IKEA Restaurant with beautiful views of the surrounding area and tasty menu. We also love IKEA Cafe for a quick coffee and take home meatballs. We love to browse and get decoration ideas through display area - always full of fresh suggestions. You can also stop here for a bathroom trip if you are coming off of I-91 which has no service plazas for miles. Whichever reason brings you to the area IKEA offers a respite stop - giving soothing vibes and instant comfort. Well now, if you fancy a piece of furniture or decor you will be spoilt for choice. This store has the best inventory on hand, and can help you put advanced order if your item is not in store. Enjoy!

IKEA is a wonderful place to shop. Great products at reasonable prices. If you havent had a meal there, its just one more thing youre missing. My only complaint is...try having to leave quickly or as a person on crutches or otherwise disabled. Not gonna happen without a WAY TOO LONG journey.

So much great stuff to browse through. It was surprisingly empty today and we were able to check out within a few minutes.

Plenty of items on display and plenty is boxed up ready to go home. If nothing else there’s enough on display that you can get ideas for your project. There is a full service cafe also. There’s plenty of parking. It’s really easy to get to as it’s right off of I-95 and close to where I-91 meets I-95.

Hope you never have to deal with their customer service. I ordered some furniture items for same-week delivery. They arranged for delivery the following week (after I was movingwithout disclosing to me. I have since had to call them 7 times to try to cancel the order. They made me repurchase the items and never refunded me for the original items. Now they claim they are mailing me a gift card because they "called me" to confirm that they should refund my credit card and I didnt respond. I am supposed to call the store (8th callto ask them to convert the gift card to a credit card refund which will take another week or more. Meanwhile, I have to pay a credit card bill of over $500 for furniture that I did not receive.

The store had changed quite a bit since the last time I visited a few years ago but I had plenty of time to wander. It was not busy on a early Monday evening. I couldnt find ice cube trays but the staff was helpful and 1 employee took the time to escort me to them. There werent as many food options as I remember but not surprising with supply chain issues. The cafeteria upstairs was open but I found out the food bar (1st floorthat has hot dogs and soft serve etc is only open onto the weekend.

My child and I made an unplanned stop at Ikea of New Haven, CT on our way to see a Broadway musical for my birthday. We had no plan for our visit (which can be very overwhelming in a massive, museum-like, multi-level mega-warehouse!). We didn’t plan on buying anything but one object caught our eye and wouldn’t let go: a wood, posable hand! We had seen it before and had to have it! Alex at check-out was awesome.

Store is typical Ikea, identical to every other ikea.DO NOT EAT IN THE CAFE, had the cooked salmon and was retching and heaving for the following 3 hours, guess it was well beyond its max-date. (Lettuce in the “fresh salad” didn’t look good either, which is why I went for the cooked food…)

Funiture gallery, small merchandise, boxed furniture ready to take home, a full-service Cafe & Bistro, a childrens play area, a frozen food area, and probably so much more I have not discovered yet! This place is like its own shopping mall!To start theres two floors to a store that feel like, after walking through most of the store, something as vast as an actual shopping mall. On the top floor theres the Cafe with plenty of options for meals at a decent price and a wonderful view!After that there is the everchanging showroom with different styles every month or so with a lot of passion & creativity behind it all! Practically every room of the house is visualized in its own way, and its a great area to get some inspiration for your next project!Once you get to the end of the showroom, downstairs is where all of the small merchandise is. Well-stocked, well laid-out, vibrant, and clean! The carts are a joy to use as all 4 wheels turn, and the cart feels surprisingly comfortable to use.Finally, the furniture warehouse has everything you need to literally pick up, checkout, and go! Theres also a clearance section here which has some odds and ends. Afterwards, beyond the self-checkout, youll find the frozen food section, as well as another food stand! I didnt get to experience the downstairs stand as I caught it closed.Overall, this was an absolute joy to walk through, and it made my inner child happy! The staff here are nothing short of phenomenal, and willing to help, especially if you get lost in the depths of the maze well beyond the Escalator!

We were there for one thing only. We ended up with three things. That is okay. The problem happened when we tried to leave. It is almost impossible to find your way out, unless you ask an employee directions. Im quite sure that that is the plan. Keep you in the maze that is a store, so as to see other things that you normally wouldnt buy. It worked with us. Other than that, no worries. This little maze experiment will not deter us from going back to IKEA. It generally is a good time.

Fun place. I got some stuff.Dont accidentally forget your cellphone in the car or you will have to walk through the entire store to get out to get your phone. You can not go down the only escalator.

This is one of my favorite stores to shop in. We first had lunch in their eatery. I spent such a little amount of money for the type of food they serve. Then we went shopping. Shopping in Ikea is an event. Its hard to describe just go there for yourself. Its always a fun time shopping at Ikea.

Unfortunately many items not available at the moment so unable to purchase what we neededAlso food market a little sparse and restaurant partially empty of food and drink. I am sure this was not their fault but just the sign of the times but still disappointing

Its a big store! I could easily spend hours shopping here since there is so many assembled pieces and entire rooms displayed. I can expect to leave with really nice furniture or other household item while not stressing the budget

We went to place to since we need get a idea how to furniture new apartment from starch hence Show room view gave great ideas along with idea on the costing single items. Food was average and clean atmosphere to rest your feet

What can you really say about IKEA? If youre in the market for a Flurgenburgen or a Snorrblatt, its the only place to go. I mostly went for the plants and bought two, but as always, I found 10 other things I suddenly couldnt live without. I also thought I would probably die there, but I always feel that way. I found my way out eventually and I will definitely go back.

Great things and Bad thingsIt is really nice to have IKEA in New Haven. The cafeteria is clean and food is reasonable (Swedish meatballs are $6.99 now. It used to be half that price not too long ago). And there are CHOICES of merchandise and you can roam all you want! Parking is also easy and is a delight. I love it.Then, you need to get out of there with the merchandise! Although there are so many employees floating around, there is always a long line to endure, and through the cashiers who are none too happy to be there. This seems to happen no matter the time and day I go there. If it is a busy weekend, there are enough lines opened so that you have to wait for somewhere between 5 to 15 minutes to get out. They will not open all the lines available. See photo 2. If you go when there is almost nobody there, you see one line and the wait is the same. See photo 1. By the way, the line is just as long in the self-help line with people trying to avoid the long cashier line. This almost seems like a store policy. I am genuinely curious. Most of the time I opt to purchase the item from Amazon. I am glad to see that some IKEA items are popping up on Amazon.

This place is 50 miles from my place. So i usually go there once a year. And i will tell u dont go there even if it is 5 mins away from u. As this has become the worst place to go. Extremely shabby looking. Not able to find the products even though show in stock. Most products not displayed. Nothing realy to look arpund. And the prices have increase 30% i know and understand about the inflation but who has increased prices by this much ? Especially when they dont ship products at a reasonable or no cost to the buyer. ?? Lost a costumer ikea 👏👏👏 one star just because it does not post with zero stars.

If you want to spruce up your home and find so many unique items, furniture, dishes, pillows, you name it. Then this is your store. Such an amazing place to shop!!

We drove 1.5 hours to this Ikea and we came when they told us to wait. We are still waiting for our stuff. Curbside pickup is bad. At this point, it is faster to just go in the store and buy it. We have been waiting since 5. Never recommend this place again and would rather drive across the country than here.

Online order and pick up was super easy and quick, Had my order filled within 24 hours and pick up only took ten minutes to curbside. Walking inside the store feels like walking a mile but would gladly do it as I can get plenty of ideas of what to do to improve my lifestyle at home in terms of decorations and new furniture.

I just spent nearly $1k here and I will never spend another $1. Apparently spending that much doesnt earn you even the slightest help. I also had to go to multiple places (the floor, the warehouse and the pick upto find my purchases. Multiple extremely heavy boxes without any offer of help. Meanwhile ppl were standing around looking at screens or chatting or standing and looking off into space. There was only 1 checkout lane open that was taking several minutes so I went to self-checkout despite extremely heavy boxes, trying to maneuver things cause my purse handle to snap. There was also a "wheres Waldo" of finding the cart for boxes. Over the years Ive spent quite a lot of $ here, but never again. Filled up my car with massive boxes all by myself long before my order finally arrived.

So, we came from far far away to NH Ikea. Got half what we travel 1hr 15min for. I was scammed at the concession. They dont offer pizza on Sundays. And they kept my dollar. It was $7.02 and I gave $8.00. Also were charged $1.50 for a less than 12 oz cup of soda. No refills, thanks! Kudos, Ikea people. Youre are not Okea. And you hurt my feelings.

First time visitor and I will be returning. The store was clean neat and the staff was friendly. I just wish there were more staff around when I had questions. We are in the cafe and the staff their were friendly and attentive. I ordered the veggie balls with curry sauce, pickled cabbage and wild grains. I was tasty and filling. No complaints. My daughter ordered chicken fingers and french fries. I really like the idea behind using ceramic flatware and the family style environment for eating. I did make a purchase of some hangers, pillows, candles, glass jars, and a dog pillow. Overall good experience here.

Went here to price and find a piece of quartz for a project redo in my RV. They did not have what I wanted as the pieces only came in a size that was too big. Walked the whole store, was almost empty of folk, odd for that store. Fun to walk through and get ideas. Did buy a new set of induction cookware in a pretty shade of blue at a great price. Happy about that. I usually go here once a year as it is a trip for me but I usually do find something I wanted, could use or just like.

Great place to explore Nordic design and have a reasonably priced meal.It has a huge parking lot and its across the street from a waterfront.

My family and I always enjoyed shopping at IKEA… but today, we went there to do an exchange because there was a damage on the item, but before that we had to sign in and stuff which is normal, but then when we went to tell the workers that we are going to do an exchange because we noticed that after we bought it, there was already an damage! But when we told the workers about the damage, they told us that they couldn’t exchange it because it says that this item is not exchangeable in a very tiny font. This means that they are selling items that’s are ALREADY DAMAGED! I believe that every store should sell new and clean items not BROKEN ones. And sure they need to sell stuff for money… then they should have put it in a different section or put in a REALLY BIG BOLD FONT! So people will know that this item is already damaged. Sure it’s our responsibility to make sure we read carefully, but they should LET US KNOW (putting in BIG FONTS, putting in another section that’s already damaged!so if they want to make money by selling damaged stuff, they should make it REALLY NOTICEABLE! And let’s be honest here, if they didn’t sell any broken or damaged item, this review or complain or disappointment will be here, right?

Very good collection of home improvement goods, affordable and innovative. Has a nice relaxed restaurant and free coffee for IKEA card holder. Plenty Parking Space.Must visit.Post Update:In my first visit I couldnt find a specific item for which only the display one was available, but none to purchase. Ironically in my second visit I found the product in the showroom section and not in the market place section.If you are looking for a specific product, sometimes you may find it hard. Of course it may be there. I suggest taking help from the Hej support guys or IKEA app.

A lot of shelves/furniture/cabinets are out of stock or "temporarily unavailble" . You spend 2 hrs walking around recording items items and then when you finally get to their stock room....not there. 😔 Nice store, but poor inventory.

Terrible order service. I canceled my order on 4.25.22 because they were going to send me 3 parts of my order and tell me to wait for another week to get the main part " bed frame". I called and cancel the order and today I found those 3 parts delivered to my door. Nobody is responsible, its taking me so long to get a live representative and I received no answer from them. It is ashamed because I had another project in mind , but with this experience I do not think I will use this store again

Always was a fun place to visit. Inventory issues seem to be resolving a little. HOWEVER food used to be great and we often used to grab a meal but last few months quality and selection also service has gone down drastically. Unfortunately that takes away from the experience and we no longer go for the enjoyment;only go when we are looking for something specific and eat elsewhere.

Perennially short on inventory and staff. Usually long lines and waits for returns and checkout. Staff often seem unhappy and unfriendly. There are exceptions. The showroom is great, but often, items are missing in the marketplace. We once tried the furniture pickup option, and it took forever. Cafeteria always seems grungy and not great food quality. Products are decent quality for the price.

Great place but I always have trouble finding my way out! I like the veggie balls, next time I will try the plant balls. I wish they had a little more food in food choices and the bistro was closed yesterday (Sunday). Decent quality products for the price. I would like to see the childrens play area back.

Good prices and modern designs. Most of the good designs are on back order or not available though especially the office section which is understandable due to work from home situations.

I returned two items that I purchased Online. Everything started ok because I was 3rd in line but after 30 mins of waiting, its not ok anymore. There are 2 cashiers doing returns and one is obvioisly not trained right to do the job. The line is piling up and a manager was asking the people in line if they are returning but he didnt do anything to help at all. After finishing the return, I went to get some stuff inside the store and decided to get a bathroom mirror. Snap a pic (belowto make sure I can fidn it quickly. I went downstairs to grab the mirrot and it was the wrong area and could not find anything on the specified area and bin. I asked for assistance with the guy putting back the returned items. He started off with attitude saying that "if isnt there the we dont have it." I told him that the item on the area/bin is wrong and if the item is not available it should be market in the first place. The associate did not even rectified my issue not check on the computer and went ahead and help another perso while I stand there and wait. After he is done helping, he just went back and finish what he is doing on the returned item area. VERY DISRESPECTFULL AND NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS AT ALL.

Ikea of New Haven is ok, no option to order some products online. pick up at store or delivery not available. Items I wanted were out of stock when I went to the store, even though Ikea website clearly stated items were on stock. Store layout is fine, I ended up buying a wardrobe.

Long lines.! Product in wrong places.! Unable to exchange or return items because they ended up being the wrong thing because the place is so disorganized.!

The IKEA store is awesome! Its a great place to shop and get some great bargains. If youre looking for decorating ideas, this is the place to go. Each area is fully decorated so you can see a full room or two set up together. You can even easily see the cost of getting everything just the way its set up. The store is huge, so bring your walking shoes! For small items, bring your own bag or purchase one in store. And if youre hungry, no worries. You can eat breakfast, lunch or dinner at the restaurant right in the store. And the food prices are awesome too.

I like to go to Ikea about once a year. Great showroom. Plan on spending hours walking around. Make time to eat in the cafe as well. Furniture must be assembled. It ranges from very simple assembley to very tedious. Very helpful staff.

Love the furniture there for the price. The restaurant is good too. I always come back with gettung stuff that i never planned on getting. Great place, if you plan on giving you home a make-over; but yeah, theyre mass-produced. I just love to look around this place.

If you browse through the online catalogue, picking up your furniture takes just a few minutes. It took me an hour to drive here but only 10 minutes to pick up 8 items I had already seen online and noted down the locations in store. Everything at its said aisle and bin #, very well organized.Apart from that, lots of food and eating option as this place can take a lot of your time if you are just looking through the items.Prices of some items are the lowest in the market.

I love IKEA! This place has awesome furniture at good prices. There is also really yummy, affordable for in their cafe. They also have a play place for young kids while parents shop. They have ice cream for a dollar which kids of all ages would love. Staff could be friendlier at this location but overall q great place!!!

Highly recommend to research before hand and come with a checklist. Otherwise, it would be too overwhelming to find the products in the store. We were able to get 10 large and small items under 2 hours. The store is well managed, clean and organized.The BBQ 1/2 rack was actually decent.The crowd is a little more difficult to deal with. Lots frustrated guys and crying children towards the end of the trail. Would not recommend bringing young children or teenager.Despite the crowd, the store had enough check out register, parking and load area to handle it all.Would recommend.
