IHOP in Medicine Hat

I worked there. Do not eat there. They do not filter fryers daily. "Cleaning" is just a word tossed around. There is no control of kitchen standards. I now work at The Silver Buckle which filters and cleans the kitchen PROPERLY. IHOP in Med Hat is a DISASTER. Avoid it. Management is a trainwreck, abusive of staff. Nothing good.

As really good service, and food was excellent usual, good food

Disappointed with overdone bacon, sausage. The only redeeming point was a bubbly waitress that took my mind off the sub standard food. The pancakes were good though.

The service here was stellar the food not so much extremely greasy you guys should invest in some air fry technology theres no reason food should be that greasy

The food and service here are great! The server took the time to clearly and patiently answer all of the questions from the seniors at our table and service was quick and efficient.

The menu selection has a big variety of items , the food portions are huge, the restaurant is clean and well maintained and the staff are friendly. What more could you ask for!

Yummy pancakes and crispy bacon, you cant go wrong! Also the waitress, Mary Rose, is awesome!

Waited in the lobby area for 15 minutes. Staff then came out and said it would be an additional 15 minutes for the kitchen to catch up. Needless to say we left.

Dont knowni hadnt tried IHOP earlier! They say first impressions goes a long way and they did pull it off. The staff definitely wowed us, especially Crystal! Cant wait for our next visit.

Did not like the eggs, they add pancake mix to the eggs to make them fluffy 🤔

The staff was incredibly rude, the eggs werent cooked properly, hashbrowns tasted undercooked, crepes were bad. I have an egg allergy and asked to substitute for something and could hear them less than 10 feet away talking about me with a rude tone. Will not be coming back.

The food was great, but what made this experience 5 star, was the service we received from Mary Rose. She was fabulous, very cheerful and attentive. She started our day off right. 😊

The food was cold, some of the orders were wrong. I WAS super disappointed the waitress took a tip without asking. I gave her a $100 bill and our bill was $74 and she handed me back a $20 and walked away. And I tried calling back numerous times to talk to a manager and no answer.

Food is okay, service is amazing though.

Easy to access location from the Trans Canada Highway. Bright and inviting interior. Good breakfast selection. Food was good and portions were decent. Staff were welcoming and friendly.

Was just there for supper food was great but you have an employee there that has bronchitis I dont think she should be working with this, she needs to go home and get healthy

Service was amazing, food is and always will be trash. Shredded hashbrowns are always undercooked and so are the eggs. Don’t know if it’s garbage cooks or if IHop is just garbage. Won’t be returning

Sad they dont serve loaded baked potato soup anymore but the menu has alot of other options and the service is good

It was our first time to visit Medicine Hat, IHOP on a Sunday morning during Family day holiday. Aside from food which is always good, we had a very nice experienced there because of a server named Patty. So lively, lovely and jolly. Thank you Patty for a very nice smile to your customers. Probably will be back.

Very lovely place, my first time ever at IHOP. The costumer service is awesome and friendly. They food is fresh and delicious. I would go their again for sure for family time.

Food was good but when they give the interact machine the cost is not what you see first just large print asking about how much I am tipping I do not believe in tipping a restaurant a server yes so if your machine asks about a tip you wont get one we werent even asked how our meal was,pathetic

The staff is always extremely friendly and quick to provide service here. That, on top of the wonderful food, keeps us coming back time and time again.

Excellent service. The kind lady that was our server had wonderful suggestions for the menu and was so kind. The food was great. Southwest chicken breakfast bowl was so good. Great plaza for breakfast.

Great service, exactly as youd expect menu/price wise and they really go above and beyond re: the difficult times restaurants are facing.The one lady working the whole (mostly emptyseating area killed it. Wish I got your name! 👊

Food is good, service is slow. They are clearly understaffed but very friendly so that makes up for it!

The Cinn-A-Stack pancakes are incredible. Every time I order them, they’re delicious. However, everything else that came with my takeout order (eggs, sausage, and crispy cubed potatoeswere cold and borderline soggy. The pancakes totally make up for it, but I do wish the other items had more consistency with their quality.

Food tasted pretty good, besides the avocado being bad on the inside and the ladies pancakes having 2 long hairs in it.

Will never go back to this restaurant. Cleanliness is something to be desired, one waitress walked around with her mask under her nose, and my breakfast came with a surprise on it...which was found after eating 2 pieces...explained as avocado...good thing Im not allergic like my sister!

Took my son here and had a fantastic breakfast. He went a bit overboard with the massive omelette. Everything was delicious! I had the strawberry crepes. Service was very fast and efficient. I will definitely come here again.

Darn good food and lightning fast service. Food came out in under 3 minutes. Very good. Loved it!!

The service was first rate, restaurant was clean, comfortable and well maintained. Personally, I thought the large sized soup was very small. And when we were there, they were out of chicken fingers, so my kids had to pick a different menu item. But overall we were happy with our visit.

We stopped at IHOP on our way through and had a great experience! We were seated immediately by the friendly hostess and our server, Theresa, was absolutely incredible; she was very patient while I was indecisive and then allowed me to order a smaller portion meal off of the seniors menu. Our food was delicious and the service was fast. We will definitely be back!

Our family came here 3 nights in a row as we stayed nearby. The service was quick and friendly and atmosphere was cozy. Heres what I liked. The salads were delicious, with a variety of different kinds of lettuce mixed together and veges. I also thought the pancakes were amazing and I dont even love pancakes normally. We got a Mexican pancake with cinnamon, wow! Tasted more like an amazing dessert then supper. I also got a tilapia dish which I found quite bland but the bed of spinach it was on was fresh and I enjoyed the sauce. The garlic burger was nearly 5 stars, we thought it was a good fresh tasting burger. And I got a chicken crepe which was my favorite thing I ate there.I would recommend, especially for children. They loved it!

One of my favorite places to dine at. Always have had amazing service and food. The prices are great and the place is clean and family friendly. We usually get the same waitress (and I cant, for the life of me, remember her nameand she is FANTASTIC! Her friendly and upbeat personality is awesome and I love how casual she talks to us and makes us laugh. Great service every time! And the food is always done so well. Love that they have no sugar added syrup as my dad and I are both diabetics so we are able to have their buttermilk pancakes.

My experience at this location was great. The staff was great and was willing to adjust the meals for our picky children. The pricing is on par with what you would expect with a breakfast diner at a about $10 to $15 per meal.I recommended this location if you are in the area. Best to show up early to avoid the rush.

Good food. Good service. Large portion sizes. A bit pricey though. I had the colarado omelet with hashbrowns as my choice of side. It has pork sausage pulled pork bacon green pepper onion and lots of cheese with a side of salsa.

Service was quick and friendly. Not many people dining, which was strange since its Friday evening. Food was pretty good, but not stellar. I would visit again.

Very delicious pancakes. The staff are so nice and friendly and they are very fast in getting your food on the table. We have never had an issue here!!
