IHOP in Kingsville

Usually this IHop is outstanding. This morning we had to wait almost 10 minutes before a watress took our order. The restrooms needed a good cleaning also.

Great place to bring the family. The food was delicious. The coffee was great. Friendly employees. The place was very clean.

Definitely enjoyed the breakfast I got here; it wasnt too packed for a Saturday morning and the food was fresh, quick, and lived up to their delicious reputation. Would definitely be coming back if I lived in the area.

Not what we expected. Food Meh. Super bitter coffee. Extra charge for substitute not informed when ordering. Dirty restrooms.

This place is a prime example why businesses in kingsville dont last. The workers. They got my order wrong (which is okbut I sent my order back and after that we hardly saw our waitress . Then another worker came to our table with a bad aggressive attitude and the cashier also had an attitude with us, all because they got my order wrong and I sent it back. Never going back to this place.

Greeted and seated immediately. Server had drinks delivered within minutes. Orders placed and hot food on table in a timely manner. Server was attentive to us and his other tables.We had a variety of foods included in our familys order .. my French toast was absolutely the best Ive ever tasted. Everyone was pleased and completely satisfied with breakfast.

Server not knowledgeable about the new technology of paying by scanning QR code on recept. Only one server for entire retaurant was ran off her feet.. she did good job though 👏 food was ok. Breakfast food is best.

It was my 3-year-old grandsons birthday He didnt like the pancakes so they brought him a bowl of ice cream free of charge! What a breakfast lol!

Not all IHOPs are equal. This one served overcooked sausages, and oily eggs. Yesterdays experience. . .up the road. . .was exceptional.Friendly servers

Didn’t get coffee till food arrived and still had to ask! Nice waitress but disappears on me.. hello! Anyone there? Last month i walked out, different waitress bad service! Last time i sat 22 minutes and never got any service! I guess having 6 customers was overwhelming, nothing worse that a waiter not getting order right! Wheres my toast? Oh well, i have a job so i can’t wait all day!

The service was fantastic. Everytime we. pass through here on a road trip we stop here.

Most disgusting place in kingsville. 🤮🤮 found hair in the food and the place is always dirty. The food is always drenched in oil. Coffee is really bad…The food always looks like vomit. I will probably never come here again.

Natasha was great. Got our meal and it was correct and very good. Had a omelette with egg whites, spinach, onion, mushrooms and bacon and it was perfect! Friendly service and fast.

This IHOP is the reason I eat at the franchise vs the one at Harker Heights in Killeen. The waitress was kind and helpful. Food was exceptional, and coffee was not burnt from heat and age. Military friendly.

Delicious food, good prices but staff was super slow

I ordered a BLT to go. The bread was barely toasted and uncut. I requested extra mayo on the sandwich and the sandwich had no mayo whatsoever. There was only one party in the restaurant at the time, with 2 people in the party. Really, theres no excuse.

Very clean, service was good. No host or hostess. We were seated by our server who was nice enough when speaking directly with us. Took three times asking for napkins and utensils to get them. A couple seated 20 minutes after we were seated got prime service. Based on the kitchen jokes we could clearly hear - they looked “rich” and we were just “poor cows” who “deserve to wait”. I am a bit overweight, admittedly, that does not justify this type of treatment. I usually tip very well and would have given him a $50 tip had the comment not been made and service in order. Very disappointed in the lack of professionalism.

Breakfast was much better than my hotel free one. I had the sampler and it was really nice. I had forgotten that a small orange juice is really large lol. Coffee was hot and lots of it. The restaurant was clean and tidy too. If its not busy ask for Ashley, shes a great conversationalist.

Food is ok and the service was good. Our waitress, Priscilla was very nice and took good care of us.The building has a mildewy smell. The mens restroom is plain nasty. The floor was very wet and slippery. My wife said the womens restroom was also bad. The floor was soaked and very slippery. She almost fell in there after having slipped. This building really needs attention.

Stopped for a early breakfast and as soon as we walked in the waitress started complaining about having to be there and then asked us not to order anything big???? Then she couldnt even write our order down right. Never refilled my tea and then she was asking another person for pain pills!!! I think IHOP needs to pay closer attention to their employees 🤔

It was pretty good however the waitress was acting a bit weird and when I asked for coffee she didnt offer cream or sugar I had to get up and get it. I still left her a tip it almost seemed she wanted us to hurry up and leave.

They were out of everything I ordered. Only 1 kind of soda. Only 1 salad dressing... Ugh 1000 island most importantly no 🥑. (It was on the menuComfortable atmosphere tho

Our waiter TEX was great. We never had to ask for a refill he cleaned off the table with every visit to our table... He put in early order for my son n niece so they can get to work on time. He fixed the tea.. it was way sweet n very light he got us fresh sweet tea. Brought everything we needed to the table before we even had to ask. He is an old school waiter. An d did a great job... We were a party of ten... Thank you for the great experience and service TEX.

This is a skip! Keep going to dennys in calallen or the valley… Been going to this location once a year for the last 10 years ago to see if it’ll ever get better. They plaster signs from management saying - if you have issues please call, they remolded the interior. Neither of which help with the service or food.

People seem to discriminate here. We were waiting for someone to take our order but the waiters there took orders for a few other people before us. We mentioned this to the server but nothing happened

Ive always loved IHOP. This particular I have the wait staff is very helpful and courteous and it is a very clean facility. I love the unlimited pancakes special that is going on right now. Their pancakes are very good and I love their pecan syrup.

As soon as we entered 2 pickup food, the hostess greeted my wife & myself very professionally. Ask whether we were dining n & we replied, we were there 4 a pickup order. He offered us 2 free drinks while we waited. Environment was very clean & comfortable. We didnt wait long. Got home & the food was still hot & it was definitely fresh. Food (hamburgers/frieswere better than good, & pancakes (full stackwere delicious!! I give IHOP a 5 stars & highly recommend it! Much appreciated the service & food.

Place is very rundown and has an odor that is nauseating. My God was cold and did not taste fresh.The facility needs to be cleaned up.

Terrible coffee, cold hash browns, and the wrong order. I paid extra for food I didnt receive. The waitress stood ten feet away and mumbled through her mask. She seemed sweet enough, but it was very frustrating. Not a great experience.

Been here a few times as a local resident of Kingsville and we love our IHOP. Visited on 2/6/22 for an early breakfast and everything was delish!

if i could give this place a zero i would. every single time i order from here SOMETHING is wrong and something is missing. once i was even given someone else’s order. if it’s not one thing it’s another. and then they put everything in one box mixing the pancakes with the eggs and it just gets gross by the time it’s picked up. who wants eggs and sausage with melted whip cream all over them?? i’ve ordered strawberry cheesecake pancakes from here on two separate occasions and they always forget the whip cream and strawberry topping. the only thing they keep constant is giving TERRIBLE service.

Worst I hop I have ever been absolutely the worst service ever the waitress was rude. Not to mention the roaches. We even told the waitress about the roaches and she just blew it offAbsolutely disgusting will.nev3rr go back just back after that

Would love to give it a -5 but that’s not allowed & I need to warn people. There was only 1 other table of customers when we arrived @ 5:35p and we’re seated. We watched 3 people stand @ the cash register talking until 6 when they took our order. App came at 6:10 with the wrong dip. Had to flag another person to get it fixed because our server never returned. Food came @ 6:20. 1 order was wrong & no syrup for French toast. Returned food to server @ 6:34 & got corrected order @ 7p. Salad had actual sand in it not to mention the leaves that were actually slimy. Never offered a drink refill, weren’t checked back on & server wanted to argue with me blaming me for wrong order when I had to tell her what it came with and after my daughter confirmed which option I had chosen. This was the 2nd and last time our experience has been horrible in Kingsville, TX.

I had stopped by at around 11pm and I am not sure if my waiter was sleepy or under the influence. My food didnt come as I ordered it and my girlfriends "lemonade" was served in a dirty glass and was pink. I attempted to remain patient with my server despite his incoherent behavior. He repeatedly asked me what I ordered and often forgot to bring anything at all. As I experienced the most awkward restaurant service ever, I tried to find management. It turns out it was some guy in a Hawaiian shirt that was sitting in a booth behind mine. When my girlfriend and I went to pay the bill at the front desk as directed, we attempted to tell the man in the Hawaiian shirt about out experience but we were interrupted by our waiter who was shouting the N-WORD. Just wow, im amazed at how disgusting that server was allowed to be without being sent home. I will never return to this location and I recommend that you dont come here if you are looking to have atleast a decent experience.

The restaurant was clean, and the tables were wiped down. The staff were friendly, and prompt. Our waiter did a great job. However, the food wasnt on par with the rest of the service and restaurant. The manager had to go into the kitchen to relieve her cook, and make the food. Nothing negative to say about anyone there. Nothing bad to comment on. But, the place could stand to get a cook that knows their way around a kitchen. And preferably one, that at least knows how to cook an egg. The manager shouldnt have to stop everything theyre doing and go stand in the kitchen and cook. Although, the hiring of competent people, falls on the manager... I think its fairly basic to know how to make eggs and bacon. Feel like the "cook" might have lied on the application. The only recommendation I have, is to get your hands on a good cook. Everything else was really great, and made the dining experience really nice.

Our server was great!! However whoever cooked it meal tonight did not satisfy us. My eggs were pretty much served raw, and my husbands pancakes were small, management was very cooperative and apologetic. Were not going to come back to eat though.

Food was great. Our waitress was outstanding! Didnt get her name...just know she was from Kentucky. Staff was working quickly and tables were cleaned ASAP.

Our waiter was awesome. Always attending to our needs. I had stopped going because of customer service. But this waiter here was awesome and super friendly and attentive. Made my sons Birthday breakfast special! Sorry didnt get his name...

This restaurant reminds me of why I once loved IHOP. So many IHOPs across the country have declined in terms of quality of service and food that I was skeptical about whether or not I should dine here. I ordered the Colorado omelette. The food was picture perfect and delicious. The service was quick and staff are very courteous. For the Covid concerned, this place has been Fort-Knoxxed to protect staff and customers.If you are like me and have had poor service experiences at other IHOPs give this restaurant a shot. You wont be disappointed.

I was enjoying myself until I saw how dirty the screen on one of the registers was.. I saw at least 5 different employees touching it and nobody cleaned it. I can only imagine how the kitchen area is. I guess they dont sanitize anything..

we had a waiter named Tony and he was really good served us hand and foot the food was great especially the chicken strips and pancakes would definitely go back again

I was here on a sunday around 10 am, it was slow and lots of staff standing around doing nothing. I was seated at the very back. My food was over cooked and the fruit was brown. But what really bothered me was the conditions of the condiments on the table. The syrup was hard and dusty. The salt was hard as a rock. Nothing had been touched in quiet a while. Thats not how a restaurant should be run.

From the outside it looked good.. As soon as we walked in it smells like Fish and somebody please run a mop thru the place. There floor is extremely dirty you can feel it as your walking to go sit down. The food was alright, The pancakes Need to be made by the order.. Our pancakes were so stiff the fork couldnt cut thru them. THIS was a great reminder why i go to Dennys.. The waitress was the only one that kept this review from being a 1 star even a No star.. Please someone paint that busted restroom too..
