I limoni - Italian restaurant in Marrakech, Morocco
I limoni in Marrakech
Description
Privilege
Amazing all around! The only restaurant we enjoyed eating at in Marrakech!Lovely atmosphere - courtyard full of lemon trees and many birds singing. While they also have Italian food, we focused on the Morrison dishes- couscous and chicken tagines were both delicious!מומלץ בחום קוסקוס אשכרה טעים והשירות והאווירה מעולה
MoreI had dinner at Limoni for two nights in a row. First night I had the best gnocchi of my life, second night some deliciuos spaghetti allo scoglio. What a lovely restaurant, staff and owner. The food was superb! I definitely recommend it!
MoreA hidden gem! My partner and I were craving something other than morrocon food and stumbled upon this brilliant Italian joint. Id highly recommend the pizzas and salad. We ordered the margarita pizza and spaghetti Bolognese. The spaghetti was nice but a bit al dente, so probably not for everyone. The ambiance is cool on a hot summer day with a lemon tree in the middle of the courtyard.
MoreAvoid at all cost! I dont understand why this place has such high ratings because the food is awful. The pasta I had was cold and when I mentioned it the rude waiter scoffed and said thats not possible and walked away. Im also sure the owner will write a comment on my review saying I have no idea what "real" Italian food tastes like and that he gets so many good reviews (bots?that I must be wrong. Maybe you should take some ownership instead of arguing with your customers on the internet.
MoreThe ambiance and dining under the limes and lemons still hanging from the trees are amazing, food both Italian and Marrocan was delicious, however, what made this dinner an unforgettable experience was the joyful waiter who made us laugh, my mother blush a bit and me starting to think about exchanging her for few camels with him 🤣
MoreBeautiful atomsphere, nice presentation of food. Chicken Tangine was good. Good starter tangine for tourtists. They use less spices and it. This would be a good place to try it for the 1st time.
MoreAbsolutely delicious tajins and pastilla au poulet. The eggplant salad is also great with their hot flatbread
MoreFantastic place! This lemon based restaurant hit all the right notes. From the small details as serving some mozzarella and tomatoes as start to delicious home made fresh food that keeps you coming for more. Well done!
MoreExcellent food, very good service and a beautiful environment. You eat literally sitting under gorgeous lime trees. Well worth a visit for a change from the local cuisine
MoreNice place, good staff and great food. They have italian food but also a Moroccan menu.
MoreReally enjoyed this place for lunch. The atrium is very peaceful and a little haven in the busy streets. The food was very tasty and lots of vegetarian options.
MoreBeautiful hidden gem of a restaurant, with amazing food and lovely staff!Makes the best pizza, ever!
MoreA gem in the area! Not only is the food fantastic (definitely try the limone ravioli, it was so good we ordered a second platethe interiors are to die for, sitting under a real lemon tree. The owner is Italian and an architect and it shows!
MoreThe only place in Marrakech Where we ate twice because the italian food was simply out of Heaven. We have been to Italia before and the pizza and pastas we had here were better than what we had in Rome. Best food we ate in Morocco at very reasonable prices and with great service. Also, the restaurant is the definition of elegance. A must visit!
MoreWhat a fantastic experience! As with many places in Marrakech this beautiful restaurant is hidden away behind an unsuspecting door amongst the chaos of the medina. Once inside you are seated under the many lemon trees that fill the courtyard. That alone would warrant five stars, but then you are served the stunning food. Highly recommended!
MoreSo wonderful to eat beneath the trees listening to the birdsong in this beautiful courtyard. Delicious pizza and friendly service, it’s a real gem and we loved it.
MoreI went with my boyfriend last night and we ordered a veg tajine and chicken couscous. Everything was delicious! The palce is nice and the stuff very kind!!Well come back soon
MoreAn amazing experience for our first night in Marrakech. The food was incredible, a tagine like Ive never eaten before. Our 2 year old son was made to feel at home with all of those working there. Please do pay this place a visit if you want great service, amazing food, set in an incredibly beautiful courtyard.
MoreVery good! The food is amazing and the staff is really nice! The place is also super cute
MoreNice restaurant inside the medina.I looked for a restaurant with a variety of food to try something different from the typical food of the area. I found this restaurant online and it was a hit! very good food and affordable price. Highlight above all the friendliness of the employees and hygiene of the establishment. I highly recommend this restaurant for those who miss a good plate of pasta between so many daily tajin😅!
MoreFresh limoni pasta and caprese salad were both delish. The staff was very friendly and attentive and the prices were reasonable. No complaints and overall very pleasant!
Morecozy and romantic garden, big portions and friendly staff and there is wine, which is not overpriced like few others in the city.
MoreAuthentic Italian cuisine. It was refreshing to taste simple flavours with not too many spices. Service was excellent, the owner, Adriano, friendly and helpful. I strongly recommend it.
MoreGood vegetarian options. Nice food and atmosphere.
Such a nice gem. You could not guess there is such a nice place from outside. You enter from a small wooden door to discover this amazing patio with lemon trees. The food is good , both Italian and Moroccan depending of your mood. Price is decent for the food quality and the experience. The service was very good also, the staff is professional and friendly.
MoreSolid choice for some Italian food and local Moroccan. We went twice since we stayed at a riad nearby. Be sure to make a reservation on their website.
MoreBest Italian and Moroccan food in the middle of Medina.
Very nice setting. Food is decent. The chef was absolutely great with allergies which we found otherwise tough in Morocco.
MoreThe pasta here is soooo goood (coming from someone who is very picky about Italian places)Would come again! 🤍
MoreCame here tonight with my partner, great menu with a choice of Italian or Moroccan dishes. Moroccan salad and the beef cous cous were great. Service was good and the place was lovely. Our favourite meal in Marrakech by far!
MorePizza was quite good! Im used to wood fired Neapolitan pizza, and whilst not quite the same this one was well made. Parmigiana was great, very filling for a starter. Ravioli limoni tasted a little bit like a lemon chesecake.
MoreWe went here for our last dinner in marrakech, and it was beautiful. It was like walking into another dimension; the contrast of the street vs walking inside the restaurant was quite shocking. The staff was very friendly and attentive to every need, food and drinks were delicious, and the bathrooms very clean.
MoreThis is the best restaurant in this area. Please book in advance as it is very busy.Friendly and polite staff.Good food relative to other restaurants around.Amazing place with actual live lemon and orange trees inside the restaurants. These trees even had Oranges and Lemons hanging on them.
MoreOne of my favourite places in Marrakech in terms of quality food, prices and service. The menu is split into half Italian and half Moroccan, but believe me, everything here in this spot is made with love and care. I always try the Italian food, and Ive never been disappointed.... everything was authentic. Its worth the experience.
MorePizza and Ravioli Limoni are superb- highly recommend! Staff is very friendly and the decor very pretty with the lemon trees in the yard. However, the service felt a bit rushed, as if they tried to get the table back quickly. The inner yard is also a little echo-y which makes the place a little less cosy.
MoreOne of the most beautiful venues we have ever eaten at! The owner was running front of house doing a brilliant job as were all the staff, and the food was outstanding. We had an exceptional experience! Thank you!
MoreWe visited Limoni last night as we were able to book online (only a few hours beforeand they still managed to fit us in on short notice. The setting was so lovely. Really clean, open ceiling / sky and the restaurant was filled with lemon trees. I had ricotta which they made fresh using their own lemons and it was really delicious. Lovely service, and we were able to order a glass of red wine too. Definitely recommend. It’s a little hidden in terms of location, but easy to find and quieter. A hidden gem!
MoreThe menu is split into half Italian and half moroccon- great for a big group. We had a gorgeous meal - the lamb tagine was great and it was nice to have the Italian options too.We had limoncello to finish. The restaurant was filled with trees covered in lemons. The setting was beautiful
MoreVery beautiful place under the lemon trees. Very good food, lamb was divine. Service nice and friendly. Would come back again!
MoreA nice and quiet place for lunch or dinner. Friendly stuff. Would recommend the camel burger!
MoreBy far the best pizza in Marrakesh also they serve olive oil tomatoes with bread, the personnel speaks fluent English no problem with communication. To mention that this place is one of the most clean places in Morocco I’ve been visited.
MoreAmazing place hidden away from the busy square! The food was amazing from the mixed biwats, tagine and my favourite the Camel burger. It was so juicy and probably the best burger I have had.We found this by chance as it was right next to our Riad we were staying at which felt like it was in the middle of nowhere! This place atleast can be found via car as there is a road next to it. The restaurant looks amazing inside with real lemon trees inside. It was very clean and staff were very helpful. It does close earlier than other places in main square and also would recommend booking if you want a nicer table near the tree.
MoreFabulous restaurant with Italian and Maroccan cuisine. I would highly recommend the limoni starters and any main course or salad you fancy. Great service and very big space inside or outside. Better book in advance in case you wish to have a table outside in the garden. They accept both cash and credit cards.
MoreDine in a lovely, chic Riad style restaurant with a covered roof surrounded by warming decor and small trees. This place certainly has a romantic touch to it but perfectly suitable for anyone to visit. They serve both Italian and local cuisine, but the restaurant is managed by Italians so I would most certainly opt for this part of the menu. The tagliatelle was fresh and cooked perfectly al dente. I opted for a rather basic sauce with a lemon and rosemary but was very much impressed. The prices are fairly reasonable with a two course meal for two coming to around 300 MAD. This place is definitely worth a visit for a Tajine break or either way.
MoreI tried fish briwat at this restaurant for the first time, its quite interesting and well made. I also like the crushed eggplant appetizer. The Fish Tagine flavor is good, while I wouldnt recommend the bolognese tagliatelle. The Riad interior is great, very nice atmosphere.
Moresecond time back at this place. Again lucky with a walk-in. They were pleasant and courteous both times finding us a table. Good food all around(they have moroccan and italian foodbut on the expensive side(not extremely. All in all good dining experience in the citrus trees covered courtyard. The seafood pasta are excellent, so is the crushed eggplant entree. I had the camel burger today, not too bad but there needs to be more than 7 fries on the plate😅
MoreA wonderful Italian hidden away from the hustle and bustle of the streets of Marrakesh! Very attentive waiters and a lovely atmosphere. Food was great and they give you a free appetiser to start! I would highly recommend.
MoreWow! This place has a very cool open air courtyard dining option on the first level and has 2 more levels above where you can enjoy the nice weather and restaurant. The food is probably the best Italian in Marrakech and is very delicious. I enjoyed the spaghetti carbonara with some delicious Italian espresso. Would like to come back and try some more dishes in the future. The only downside is the parking is a little far away but not a big deal if you are mobile and enjoy Italian cuisine and excellent service.
MoreAmazing place and amazing atmosphere. Came here twice in 3 days and would come again if our trip allowed for it. The Moroccan dishes (off the moroccan menu - they have bothwere the best we had all trip! The staff is also very attentive and helpful. Always smiling definitely makes the place feel welcome. 100% worth the trip here if that is something you might wanna do. Will come back one day!
MoreBest Tajine I have ever had in years. Chicken Orange and Apricots Tajine was delicious! The place is like a small oasis hidden from the dusty street. Very humorous staff. Presentation was great and good attention to detail. I will come back.
