Loved this spot for local grub! Perfect for a quick, casual breakfast or lunch. The food is ok, but it is great value.

Been here a few times and with the friendly staff and great portion of the food with a fair price to match it cant be beat! I highly recommend this for breakfast as I got the steak and eggs and my friend got eggs Benny ,sooooo tasty 😋

My husband, daughter and I visited this morning. We have been the before and have been completely satisfied... today not.. my husband had the early bird.. consisted of 2 eggs, 2 meat,a very small amount of hash browns and 4 toast. It was correct and hot. My daughter and I both had the 1 egg breakfast. Mine was poached med and hers was hard. We both had bacon and 2 slices of toast. And all of the breakfast came with tea,coffee or juice. We got all that we ordered in about ten minutes.. not bad at all because everything was fresh. It just felt like something was missing. It was just ok... nothing special. But consider our order came to 26 dollars and our daughters was 13. It felt a bit pricey... I guess out days there will have to be very limited.. not really worth the money anymore.

We love this place!! There are very few places today that give you this kind of service. Exceptional staff who are friendly, engaging and customer focused. We each had the breakfast special and everything was perfect. If you are not a fan of the deep fried potato hashbrowns, then come here. They have pan fried hashbrowns which are as good as you would make at home.

Staff and service is great. The owner is very welcoming. The food is always good with decent portions.The restaurant can be quite cramped at times, depending where you are seated and what time of day it is. But the food is worth it and even when its busy the wait for the food is never very long.

There truly is no other Kynes. (See what I did there?!?But seriously, I think there’s only one location. Should be a chain, if I’m being honest. Banger Club and Fries. Absolute nails. Thanks, Susan. 5/5 would eat that Club there again…daily! *hugs*

Always super impressed with this restaurant! The food is delicious, like a home made meal, and lots of choices on the menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The desserts are absolutely DELICIOUS as well! The prices are very reasonable and you get a good portion! Our server was super nice and helped us with everything, I really recommend you try it!

Jennifer was a FANTASTIC server. She was friendly and courteous and genuinely attentive. The food was great. She made our dining experience memorable.Jamie Haynes came by with some story about regulations to move our coat when he could have simply asked us to do so. 0/10, hence the star off.

First time here in town and this is a place Id not only recommend others too (aka you and friends/family), but also a resturant Im 100% coming back to.Foods to die for, left with a gut buster due to over eating which is probably what happens to everyone who goes (hard time walking to the car). Everything is amazing so depends on what youre in the mood for, we wanted a little bit of everything and enjoyed everything on the menu, but also the service is east coast class (aka first class)!

This is our go to for brunch on Sundays for many reasons. Most of all, at this particular time, we are comfortable eating here because of their Covid safety precautions. There are glass partitions separating the booths. There is such a great variety of meals to choose from and we have never been disappointed. The service is top notch and the servers are fast and accurate and friendly. Absolutely delicious! Clean with very friendly service. I had liver and bacon dinner and everything was perfect. He had fish with pan fries and enjoyed every bite. No room for dessert but they did look good.

Very unique restaurant in Moncton. It is like you stepped back in time. You can’t find this kind of service anymore. The food was very good and the fish was very fresh. The gravy for the mash potatoes was a little bland for my taste. The coleslaw was creamy and delicious. The steak and cheese sub was ultra juicy and you’ll have to eat it with a fork and knife. The pies look home made, but unfortunately we were already too full to try. Just be aware that they close at 7, so if you plan on going for dinner, don’t go too late. We were there around 5:30 and they were already out of a cream pies. They also have breakfast, which we would love to go try.

Lobster roll was exactly what I wanted.Lots of chunks of lobster in a soft hotdog roll. French fries were done well and not greasy. Seafood chowder was tasty and full of lobster and fish. The. Fish and chips were great. Good portions, affordable & done perfectly! A must when in Moncton!

Such an efficient staff and its so fun to be able to go to a true diner. Its an iconic Moncton restaurant with fabulous food.

My buddies had this food as a pit stop, a fellow outside was playing nice music and they got good food portions for the price, not stunning but hit the spot on our journey. Very comforting atmosphere inside though we did takeout

Local restaurant, serving all of the favorites. Smaller portion meals are also offered. Lots of desserts to choose from but the boiled icing cake is the definite favorite.Most seating is booths but tables are also available. The location is accessible but the entrance is tight.

Very dated atmosphere. Amazing staff. Prices are far too high for what you get. The food is 7 out of 10.

This place is always amazing! One of the best breakfasts in town. Lunch and dinner are wholesome, taste great, feels like comfort food/home cooked meals, and the staff are ALWAYS very welcoming! Some of the staff have been there for ages which means a lot!

We all know the food is hot, tasty and enough choices for the fussiest eaters, but the real reason to go back is the staff. Sweet, humorous and never seen standing around or staring at phones. Our waitress would continually check on us every time she buzzed by. Keep up the great work!

Went there twice! The first time I had the seafood lasagna and the second I had the fish/seafood basket. Both were delicious! It is a tiny cozy restaurant with excellent, warm, friendly staff!

Fond memories in this restaurant. I love that the owners are the greeters for their own establishment. You know that you’ll be heard if you have a complaint or concern. The staff are generally career waitresses who have been serving a long time and are typically very sweet woman.

This was my first time here, thanks to my amazing partner. Wow, what can I say, the food was amazing, the pancakes are the best, (next to mine of course😉). This place has been serviced since 1957 and I can see why, the food, the service and the attitude make it a must go to place in Moncton.

First time dining In a restaurant in 2 years.Great service, got my food quickly.My experience and the meal was excellent.The coleslaw was the highlight of it all, best coleslaw in moncton hands down.To the person in charge of preparing it, you have yourself a winning recipe!

Well my last name is Hynes so I was very excited to eat here. From the outside this restaurant doesnt look like much but the food and dessert reminds me of going to my grandparents place for supper. I absolutely loved it. Fast service, friendly staff and great food.I had the burger platter with onion rings and to wash it all down I had coconut cream pie it was all delicious!

First time here and we came because of the reviews. 100% accurate this place so busy and clean and the food is amazing. We had the breakfast special. The only thing Id ask is for a larger portion because it was that good. This will he our Saturday morning breakfast place from now on.

Staff is very nice and friendly with the kids. They take cleaning very seriously. I tried their chicken sandwich and was amazing. Plus its very worth your money. Look at the full plate for $13 only. I was glad that I tried this place out. I also loved their coffee. Made my day 😂

Great big portions, friendly and fast service. The portions are like "my plate needs a guardrail" sized.Everything is wheelchair friendly and accessible.The pricing is pretty reasonable for the amount of food.Definitely a hopping busy spot, you may find a line leading up to lunch hour and weekends.They are family run over a long time- you can see that and see the owners working the floor.Tons of parking in the area and across the street they have a dedicated lot. Certainly a sign of a busy spot!

After many years, this is still a favorite local greasy spoon restaurant in Moncton. True to its diner heritage, breakfast can be had at anytime. Very friendly service, reasonably priced, with ample servings. The menu is expansive. So come and explore their offerings. Alcohol is not served here. There can be a wait at peak mealtimes on any day of the week.

Nice diner in Moncton that seems to be the favourite with all the locals. The service is great. I recommend the haddock strips

Parking lot is a bit akward when busy (and this place is busy! Once inside, we were in a line up for about 5 minutes. Breakfast was delivered very fast (it was busyand the food was very good. Will definitly go at Hynes restaurant again. Its a relaxing diner

Faantastic all day breakfast place. Gets super busy. Everything any of my friends have gotten from here has been good. Pancakes are huge, pan fried hashbrowns and onions are delicious. Macaroni and cheese is the best Ive ever had at a breakfast place.

Had seafood basket. It was okay but they used frozen crinkle fries, haddock was good but scallops were dry and too much batter on shrimp. The roll was cold but good texture only the plate was warm. Service was quick. Wont order this again and probably wont be back.
