Hydro Falls in Baguio

a short trek to hydro falls

We visited there last May 2022. The journey going there was pretty hard as there were a lot of rocks (as you can see in the photosand when I say lot of rocks, not pebbles but huge rocks. It was a fulfilling view when we got there. There was no entrance fee but you got to be prepared for the journey.

Very adventurous place. Not so touristy and there are no entrance fees.

Grabeh its one of a kind tour. Hiking rock climbing walking , lahat andito na sa dulo pede pa ang swimming. Napakaganda ng views. Oh my gosh. So good must try if you want to go away from the city. Camp 7 lang to guys.

Very relaxing place

The walk there wasnt too hard, it was tedious though, the rocks are everywhere, its easy to fall. The local children were swimming there when we arrived, but on our way back, a local woman in the jeep scolded us, claiming swimming was not allowed. Theres no signs that swimming isnt allowed, but it is deep. Bring slippers if you plan to swim, the rocks really hurt your feet. Get down at the first hanging bridge, walk straight until you get to the big rocks, and try to walk on the right side, youll know youre close when you hear the water.

Very beautiful still despite of Ompong ruining the 1st waterfalls.. I guess its time for the 2nd falls to shine...

Before you reach the falls,you will have to walk the long rocky path but worth it! And will come back again

The hydro falls is so deep but the best choice because it has a clean water

Ive been here four times. The place is very beautiful and breathtaking. I just hope that future visitors won’t leave their trash and will keep the place clean

Its hiking, rock climbing and swimming all in one. The walk is fairly easy. You just have to be careful with what rock you step on. The little climb is the more challenging part. You have to really trust your survival instincts. Each person may find a different hold suitable for them. But, cliche as it is, its all worth it. When you step up from the last of the climbs, youll be greeted by the beautiful falls. Caution, its not impressive but its very beautiful. Its like an oasis. The waters are cool, deep and very clear. There are actually 2 deep pools and at least 2 other shallow pools. Youll pass the shallow pools before you reach the falls. Sadly, jumping from the side of the falls isnt allowed. But its still an amazing experience. The top of the boulders are perfect for sunbathing while you watch the waterfalls. My friends and I are definitely planning to go back soon. And just a warning, THERES NO ENTRANCE FEE. If anybody asks you for an entrance fee, dont ever give in.

It was a great waterfall with a large pool on the second tier.
