Huge green space, home to Diana Memorial Fountain, with boating and swimming in the Serpentine lake.
Honestly, Excellent, Popular and huge park in the centre London. It has lots of things to see and do which leads to busy always. Cycling is the best activity, where you can hire from Santender vendor. It has a larger lake with many ducks, swans, geese and other birds. It has lots of memorials, I liked the princess Diana memorial. It has Lake side cafes and restaurant with toilets to rest and replenish. Totally a great place to relax and spend a few hours along with the family.
Have a morning run there. Excellent environment, fresh air nice friendly animals. Squirrel will approach you for feed, swans n ducks from the pond will do the same. Please go there to enjoy the nature plus quite a few historic n cultural points there too
Walked from northwest to southeast through the park. We saw a horse trail, bike paths, walking only paths throughout. The seemed well maintained while we were there. The pond in the south wasnt amazing, but kids really enjoyed the birds on shore. Nice garden in the south east corner with a couple of fountains.
The park is a delight to be in. Well-maintained walkways with a water body and the water birds complement the near-perfect evening or morning walks. A sufficient number of seats are available for seniors and ample space for kids and teens to have scot-free time. The only limitation is the number of washrooms. A must visit in London
Really nice place to stroll with your family and loved ones. The place is huge and you can see people having picnics , playing with their pets, jogging, cycling etc. really well kept park. Very famous amongst tourist as well.
I honestly could not get enough of this park🥹 it’s utterly mesmerizing… but then again, whats not beautiful about nature😍The park is clean, relaxing, calming in so many ways and the animals (ducks, swans, squirrelswere the cherry on top🥹🥰
Lots of ducks and birds. You can even get to be close up with them. As some does not seems to be shy with human. Squirrel were friendly too, 1 of them touches my leg and asking for food. Wild parrots can be seen around as well.
If you want to smell some fresh air and be in pure nature, visit now! Never before in my life had I had the chance to see a swan so close. The only problem is that there is only one toilet service in a huge area. I havent tried the restaurants, I have no idea about them, but I enjoyed the areas with walking tracks, water canals, fountains, trees, and flowers.
A huge park. A lovely place to walk, run, cycle, or just sot and enjoy the quietness and the view. The lake is also lovely. Try to take your time there to really enjoy yourself on your own pr with family and friends.
This is my favourite London Park for many reasons but mainly because it’s so big, you always feel free. It’s got everything you would want in a park. Amazing trees shrubs and flowers. Wild in some areas and manicured in others, it’s got a huge diverse amount of wildlife living under your nose including wild parrots! The lake is serene and the waterfalls peacefully. Whether it’s a run,(big park), to play a sport, a stroll, to sit outside, wildlife spotting or for foraging it’s got the balance right.
Beautiful park in the heart of the city. The trees are so tall that they block out almost all noise from the cars and busses driving by. Plenty of statues, monuments, gardens and also appears to be an off leash dog park as there were many dogs playing and chasing squirrels.
Shaded walkways and large pond for a breath of fresh air in the middle of central London. Dianas memorial fountain a memorable place to visit and contemplate. Take your time to walk slowly thru the park. Though wish there were more flower gardens to view.
Large park in the heart of London with different type of area from parade field, cycling, and pond (non-swim). It is a great place to chill out and exercise in the evening time. There are coffee shops beside the pond which makes it fantastic. Portable toilets are available for use in the park.
I have visited Winter Wonderland during the holiday season two years ago. The complex was amazing and pretty big with lots of things to do. However I did not visit all of Hyde Park until recently. I hired a Boris Bike and cycle around Hyde Park. It is a massive park, recommend to hire a bike to explore it. I saw Kensington Palace and gardens, the Round pond, Royal Albert Hall, Speakers Corner, Marble Arch. Theres lots of things to do and explore. Love it!
This is one of those places that would take most of the day to really explore and enjoy I only visited to see the speakers corner that I have seen many times on videos online.I didnt get to hear anyone speaking out but I liked looking out across the park there is so much space so if relaxing in groups on the green there is still plenty of space away from other people. I would really like to get to explore more of the park when I visit again.
Great park in the heart of London.Lots of birds in the lake. You can take a boat. The grass in too yellow because the extreme heat, normally much more green. The monument to Diana is a but underwhelming as it is only a round fountain, she deserved something better.
This park is a nice place for almost any activity. Good for walking, running, cycling or even horse riding. It is always full of life. If you are with a friend or needs a moment for yourself, this is the place to be. Staying on grass or near water. The view is always breath taking.
The park is much larger and less groomed than expected, like a common English garden, but still very unique and interesting. The path leading to Buckingham Palace takes you on an journey, as you can imagine the history that has taken place. FOLLOW ME for more thoughtful recommendations as I travel the world 🌎
Loved this visit. We enjoyed a pleasant afternoon stroll. The weather was pleasant and the park was nicely busy. Visitors were bathing, running, playing or like us just enjoying a walk. There were a small number of refreshment cabins which were reasonably priced. Deck chairs could be hired as well as pedalos. Worth a visit if you have never been there before.
Absolutely loved Hyde Park. It was the first place I visited.Tips1. Check the website before you come. There are events in the park all the time. I, unfortunately, came not knowing that it was a huge concert.2. Lots of celebrities walk this park... Especially in the morning.3. Hyde Park is free to enter between the hours of 5 a.m. and midnight every day, all year round.History: The park was a royal hunting ground as far back as the early sixteenth century. But its history goes even further back to the 900s when the land that became the park was meadow fields, owned by monks at Westminster Abbey. It was only with the changes enforced by Henry VIII that the grounds were seized from the monks, and turned into a vast hunting area, setting the tone for what the park would become in later years. Then its a current state by Queen Caroline.
Its a lovely park. Not one of my favorites or one of the best in London but its definitely a must if youre visiting. During summer is very dry and you wont have the best views but during winter is a beautiful park.
On a hot weekend day this place is is teeming with activity. Roller skaters, dancers, swimming, boating, political debating (at Speakers Corneras well as eating and drinking at the Serpentine Cafe. There’s so much to this park and it’s just wonderful, and you won’t get bored at any stage. You’ll get your steps up traipsing about too, so get fit and get you ar** down to Hyde Park.
A beautiful place to be especially in Summers. This huge park is a great place to go with family, friends or just by yourself. It has a lot of cafes, playgrounds, cycle tracks and boating as well! It can get a bit crowded on weekends and on sunny days.
An absolutely lovely park to visit at the heart of central London (west). Perfect for a relaxing evening/morning walk. Its amazingly huge, you can even plan to spend a day here. This green gem at the city centre can help you breathe fresh air, and relax your nerves by watching the stunningly beautiful lake laden with ducks and swans. The place is perfect for families, children or even for taking your pets for a stroll. There are cycle paths as well within the park. Its also well connected to the rest of london. Multiple visits are highly recommended to enjoy every corner of this huge park!!
Went to see Duran Duran. Really well organized event. Plenty of space. Lots of mock shops. Beer was £7 a pint. Grass is parched & battered but will hopefully recover. Nile Rodgers & Chic were amazing. Easy to exit. Will be back next year if another event is arranged ???
A beautiful, sprawling park with something for everyone - walking, cycling (bikes for hire), roller skating (take your own), seasonal paddle boats, the Princess Diana Memorial Fountain (which is wonderful to paddle in!), a playground etc. A choice of eateries and little coffee/ice cream/pastry huts too but the queues on lovely sunny days are off putting and difficult when you have children waiting with you. There are some toilets but not enough and they are 20p - you can use contactless though. Best advice is to pack a picnic and enjoy your day out having taken everything you need with you.
It’s my escape place. You can always find a spot to sit, and everyone tends to respect each other’s space. Best park in central London by far. Is even go so far as to say that for me, the London I love is built around Hyde Park. Please visit if you ever come to this city!
Hyde Park is the biggest park in London. Perfect for a walk or a run or why not a picnic with beautiful surroundings. Definitely worth a visit. I also recommend to stop by one of the small coffee shops for some refreshments. Hyde Park is a must visit during your stay in London.
I visited for the Rolling Stones 👅 concert and had the most fabulous time! The park is massive and it was beautifully set up for visitors to enjoy the space while waiting for the gig to start! We found plenty of activities, food and drinks. Appreciated was the sensory area where to relax!
Beautiful parkland with loads to see and do. Very welcome relief from sightseeing in the city and plenty of places to eat near the Serpentine. We took bikes around so we could see the most of it, lots of cycle paths so you’re off the road for the most of it.
a really nice park to spend time at. have a picnic, rollerblade, watch swans and ducks (don’t feed them though), go on a date, read a book, go on a walk, or do yoga! whatever you wanna do, there’s a space for you here so have fun and relax here.
Such a beautiful park I never realised how large it was until I came through one station and left through another ! The scenery was breathtaking the children love it the adults and animals love it I didnt take enough pictures because I was enjoying myself that much! The best part for the children in the summer will be the Diana memorial fountains its a big orbital type ring which water flows and kids splash and get wet!
One of the best and secure place. I do to say thumb up to the local authorities who keep it secure, clean and tidy! I do recommend it to all my family members and friends to visit and the best is the underground car parking!
The largest of the four Royal parks it forms the entrance to Kensington Palace. This is a lovely park to explore and enjoy. There are several statues and monuments scattered throughout the park that are great to discover. This is also a great place for inner city birdwatching with several signs around the park that explain some of the many birds that you may come across within the park.
Amazing park if you want to see some squirrels! The park is really huge so dont underestimate the distance to cross from one side of the park to the other. There are plenty of activities to do in the park, its a great place to bring young children. There is a beautiful lake as well, with ducks.
Wow!! What an amazing park!!Loads of space to avoid the tourists, very easy to get too, the park entry, the Diane memorial and statues around the park are free to view.Lovely walk around the serpentine, plenty of benches and spots to sit. There’s also some cafe’s by the water but I didn’t stop in one.Make sure to visit the Italian gardens and the rose garden.
One of the largest, greenest and the most famous park in London.Located just outside the nearby Hyde Park Corner station on the Piccadilly line, Hyde Park is definitely a not miss destination in London.Good for weekend picnics, evening walks, small friends gatherings and for enjoying the weather. The park is really huge and has lots of green spaces to chose from. There is small lake inside the park which goes all the way from near Hyde Park corner all the way to near Kensington Gardens. There are so many bird species in the park as well as in the water.Lots of space for children to play. Near the lake there are so many comfort chairs available for the general public to just lay down and relax.
Excellent, Popular and huge park in the centre London.
It is a huge park, probably one of the largest in London. Do keep in mind the entrance you take to get in and if you are looking to visit particular spot like Diana memorial for example, keep in mind the location on the map. Centrally there is a huge serpentine lake with plenty of ducks and swans etc overall fun place to visit and even a leisurely stroll if you happen to visit nearby attractions
Lovely massive park right in the center of west central London. Perfect for all park-related activities. Loads to explore too, you definetly wont see all that the parks got to offer in one visit.
We had a pleasant experience walking around here, looking at the pigeons, ducks and swans. There are cafe stalls for coffee, ice creams, water etc. Moreover, they have an award winning coffee cafe around this area. It now became one of my favourite places in the world.
Probably my favourable place in London.I simply enjoy every single moment spent in the Hyde Park! This place has everything that one can imagine, while thinking about rest & relax. Its location is of great advantage. Limited by the Albert Hall from the south, Kensington Palace from the west, Lancaster Gate from the north and Oxford & Soho area from the east. Just walking distance from the Buckingham Palace (10minutes from the Hyde Park Cornerand then next 15 minutes to the Trafalgar Square (via the Mall).
Excellent park! Huge, with lots of things to see and do.Lots of space available, in spite of its popularity and how busy it was, even on a weekday morning.Cycle paths (with bicycle hire available), picnic on the grass areas is possible, larger lake with many ducks, geese and swans. Horse riding tracks, and even a trough. Lots of little memorials and gardens dotted about. Cafes, with toilets, to rest and replenish at.I still have several more attractions and areas to explore there.A great place to relax and spend a few hours, or even pass the day. Whether its by yourself, with a pet, a loved one, the family or friends. We were fortunate to have a great weather that morning.Ps. You might be lucky to catch the army training their soldiers to ride there some time like we did.
A breathtaking royal park with a lake and great open spaces. You can also find flower gardens and quiet seating areas. There are really good cycling lanes as well. In the summer you can find concerts and during winter they set up the winter wonderland. All year round you can visit the galleries and the Diana memorial. I would strongly recommend that you walk around and enjoy every inch of this park. Ive added photos from when we were flying over so you can see the entire park.
One of the most beautiful and peaceful places you can visit in London. Just sit on a bench, breath some fresh air, take a walk in the natural that is in the middle of one of the largest cities in the world. Enjoyed the beauty and the green trees. A great and peaceful experience
Absolutely spectacular place to go to with young child. Most importantly your physiological needs will be easily met as the toilet within the park are well maintained and clean. Just make sure you got 20 pence. The other option is to pay contactles way. Well maintained playground in close proximity to Buckingham Palace and lovely coffee places where you can get something to drink and bite are icing on the cake. Maybe we were on the special date but most likely it is a magical place and your child will not want to leave the playground.
Nice Park!Feeling really calm and comfortable being there. It was also great seeing lots of animals there. There is a cafe at the front gate and another cafe is by the pond. Should be nice having a cup of coffee by there.
Lovely green space in Central London. Park is massive so best way to see the most of it is via bike. Granted the bike is limited to certain cycle trails which mean you dont get to go into the actual gardens and fountains.
We went to Winter wonderland and really enjoyed ourselves. They had panels on the floor with made it easier for pushchairs especially in the rain. There were alot of places to eat a fun for all ages. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
It is a beautiful park. Great walk and amazing views, the lake is so beautiful and the ducks are so cute. We loved the nature and it is so clean. Make sure to have comfortable shoes to be able to walk all around it, as it is really huge.
