We didnt stay here just stopped in for a couple drinks and for some food. wings we got were ice cold 🥶 literally cold they were microwaved when pointed out how cold they just popped into the microwave again and they over charged us by accident and the drinks were ok not amazing but solid for basic bar drinks but slightly overpriced. To be totally fair I would stay there but I will never ever ever eat here ever again. The staff was cool though but food was the worst I ever eaten it was so dam bad luckily we just stopping in and it was just a stopping point so it didnt ruin the night but my god man we wasted like 40-50 dollars on microwaved food and two drinks lol well you live and learn dont eat here I would rather have eaten off the dollar menu of a fast food place. I would give two stars for hotel staff but to say it was ok is a lie it was awful 1 star food and four stars on service staff was nice.
Beautiful hotel experience. Easy walking to lots of restaurants and activities, friendly staff and overall high quality feeling. The rooms aren’t the newest but I actually preferred this Hyatt regency to several “new” ones I’ve been to lately. Very comfortable.
Staff when got there were preoccupied. Could not get our key to work. Got to room had to wipe down toilet cause it was dirty. Ice machine didnt work. Night staff was unfriendly.
No ones fault there was flooding but to not have management address all of your guests waiting outside for 2+ hours is POOR management. Literally nothing was said to anyone. Its not the hotels fault but you dont leave all of your guests outside and not say anything. Not one apology. This goes along with customers having to ask for extra towels, toilet paper, and trash emptied bc rooms are not serviced daily. I know Hyatt can do better especially for what we paid per night. Thank you.
Good view, good location closer to the parking and the convention, and surrounding restaurants. Room is okay. Cleanliness is 8/10. Dusts in the corners. Window is dirty and the view is 8/10. Overall 4 out of 5.FYI, I stay at a hotels about 11 days every year about in about 7 hotels. So for the last 5 years I stayed at about 35 different hotels.
Location is good and the staff is excellent, but thats where it ends. We moved rooms 3 times.. Once due to noise from the elevator and the 2nd time because of a noisy air conditioning unit. The third room was not very clean, the toilet didnt flush and the shower was stopped up with hair that I had to clean.
This place appears to be run down. Needs a remodel. Bedroom clean and nicely decorated. Shower floor clean but old/stained. Shower head cheap. Restaurant downstairs terrible. $18 for a breakfast buffet that is usually free at cheaper hotels (dry eggs, cheap sausage, bread section with stiff bagelsThis is the worst Hyatt Regency I have stayed at. It should be a lot better considering the price.
I would give zero stars if that were an option. Me and my fiance stayed there Monday night which was October 24th and stayed until the following morning. I am absolutely horrified with the entire experience of this stay. First of all, shortly after arriving and getting settled in, I was very much looking forward to taking a nice hot shower and had planned on calling down to the front desk & ordering a womans robe and the flat iron/curling iron as well so I could fix up and try to look nice for my fiance. Well, unfortunately that definitely didnt happen. When I called down, the lady at the front desk said that they never actually had ever even owned a flat iron and there was a curling iron SOMEWHERE in the building but she would have to track it down and see if its available IF she did find it. But she could send the robe up if I needed it. I was very disappointed to say the least but oh well I guess.....at least I will have a robe right? WRONG! I put it on only to discover there was a hole that covered a VERY large portion of the bottom left side of it. I thought I was staying at The Hyatt? It sure doesnt feel like it. Not to mention that I also attempted to order a phone charger to be sent up. Well apparently they dont have those either. There is a paper in each room that says To Keep: & To Borrow: and under each it lists different items. False advertisement is not what I expect when paying almost 200 dollars for one single night. Now lets move on to the following morning before check out time, I was wanting my morning coffee so I made my way down to the lobby and I started smelling breakfast. I assumed it was just a complimentary self serve breakfast that was offered just like many other hotels have......Well, WRONG again. I was finishing up with getting just a few small things to put in my belly to start the day. A mini little box of Frosted Flakes, a pre-made blueberry muffin, and I started to pull a bagel in half so I could put it in the toaster. As I was separating the bagel I notice MOLD ! ! ! YES, I said mold. I was disgusted. And much to my surprise at the same moment I was making this horrible discovery, I seen a lady who worked there approach my fiance and tell/ask him something then walk away. My appetite was pretty much ruined after the bagel incident so I decided that the box of cereal and muffin would be more than enough for me. We start towards the elevators and I asked my guy what the woman had wanted and he told me that he was informed that our breakfast came to the total of 31 dollars and some change. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I had assumed after paying this much that a very standard self serve breakfast station would just be one of the amenities of course. Just like many many many other "mediocre " if you will, hotels are more than happy to include in the price right? Nope. We were hit with 31 more dollars for MOLDY bagels and a ruined appetite lol. I am just in shock at what we experienced at The Hyatt. I will say, the staff were very nice and none of these incidents were their faults at all. They just simply work there. So I would say good job on hiring the people who were there for my stay. Especially the valet there this night. He was GREAT to us. So, five stars to him but I honestly feel like we should have just gone to any other very standard hotel in the area for less than half or more of what we paid. I feel like my fiance was pretty much robbed for around 250 dollars total for this one night and morning. I am soooo angry. I had much higher expectations for this hotel. I recommend ANY other hotel over staying here. I am also reporting them to the Health Department. I could have very easily been in a hurry and not noticed the mold on that bagel. So if you do stay here, make sure you carefully examine any food or drink. Terrible experience and would sleep in my car before I ever paid a penny to stay here. Sorry if I sound rude, but I just cant believe what happened to us. Its sad.
Second year going to this hotel for a convention and it was just as good as the last time. Would definitely recommend.
I have never been cut off after 3 drinks in 2 hours, but for some reason Anthony started serving me water? Im sorry but I have a room and I am not driving. I will say the people working the front desk was awesome. Also the rest of the staff at the restaurant was awesome. My other complaint is the ice maker went out on the 6th floor. Damn gremlins.
The location is great if youre in town for an event at Rupp Arena, and overall the rooms are average. The price is much too high for an average room, though, and we noticed several issues that are all pretty minor individually, but add up to bringing the experience down a bit. The valet parking guys were great and the front desk staff were very friendly. Overall, this was a very mediocre hotel for a premium price.* Looks like daylight when the blinds are completely closed, woke up at dawn in a park-facing (east-facingroom.* General maintenance issues in the bathroom - vent fan doesn’t work and the toilet paper holder is falling off the wall* Thermostat doesn’t work so I had to turn fan on Always On to get the room to cool.* Flat sheet instead of fitted sheet on an already very uncomfortable bed.* Windows haven’t been cleaned in ages* Reservation clearly said breakfast included but front desk said it wasnt for my reservation.* Tv powers off after 5 seconds if you dont get it switched to the right input fast enough, and the TV Guide says "No Information" for every listing for our entire stay).
Friendly service, clean rooms. Good breakfast choices. Full service bar with great bartenders. Well located in the downtown area. Would recommend.
Tone, Anthony, Nemo, Tori, Angel, Lauren, Gabi, Davi & Marcus, thank you for making my stay at the Hyatt Regency Lexington so outstanding. The hotel is beautiful, but it was the generously of kindness and dedication to Customer Service that made my stay exceptional!I hope you are all here when I return.❤️
Remember to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking any stay. They compare hundreds of booking websites and usually will have prices much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This place is one of my favorites in the area. I have been coming here for a long time. If you stay for a few nights you definitely wont regret it.Very nice hotel: quality rooms and amenities. We really appreciated having a refrigerator in our room, though we did not have a microwave. The shower was nice & also spacious. There is also a pool and fitness center. Their catering is pretty good too; particularly noteworthy were the helpful and courteous staff members.
Very nice hotel. I love that when you open your room door you can’t see straight into the room. Great for privacy. The only issue we had was the elevator didn’t like one of our keys and would only work half the time. We would then use our other key. Minor inconvenience.
Great location if you are into the downtown scene of a city but if you like quiet with no traffic then this would definitely not be a place to go. As far as the room we had a standard room with a king bed and I would say that it was a little above average in quality. Great view of downtown and the triangle park. As far as that Bluetooth speaker that a previous reviewer was going on about. It’s just a normal speaker with a clock….nothing really special😏
The Bluetooth Cubie speaker clock is pretty cool its max volume doesnt rip up the sound. I want one. The lamp has so many plug ins. Above all the TV can already use Chromecast tech. Wish I could take it with me cool stuff.
Pillows , bedding , bathroom towels are dingy , scuff marks on the walls , carpet has stains . Fitness center isn’t open 24 hours which is a inconvenience. Great location. Will not return.
Rooms were nice and comfortable. Exercise area was very clean. Staff was very kind and helpful.
Rooms are date they tried to update bathrooms. My room freezing cold. Had to switch room. That room was not much better.Lamp broken, towels were almost grey , thick dust behind the night stand. But the staff very professional.
Rooms are a bit old but well maintained, great customer service and location, definitely would stay again.
Location was fine. Staff was accommodating. No free breakfast. No water bottles, so bring your own.THE CURTAINS ARE TERRIBLE!They let in so much light its impossible to go back to sleep in the morning. Who approved these curtains?! I had only a few hours of time to sleep before my flight the next day and these curtains ruined what was left of it!!!
The views were nice and the room was clean upon arrival. However, we stayed there for 5 days and no one came to clean the room in the mornings like they did for other rooms. I requested them to come on day 3 in the morning because we had no towels and toilet paper, they said they were busy and low staffed but would get someone out to the room that day. We returned to the room and nothing was done. The next morning I went to ask for room service again. She said they could see I asked the day prior but have been busy. They sent someone out in the early evening when my kids were back from an almost full day of activities, but couldn’t clean because they were in there. This was on day 4 when they’re supposed to clean early like they did for other rooms that day. There is also a lack of communication here. Managers don’t keep the front desk employees in the loop, and they are clueless on things when event coordinators have made agreements with the hotel upper management team. I understand they might be short staffed but they shouldn’t allow so many guests that they can’t even handle. They should sell out after a certain amount of rooms are taken, even if they can occupy more.
Very nice hotel: quality rooms and amenities. We really appreciated having a refrigerator in our room, though we did not have a microwave. The shower was nice & also spacious. There is also a pool and fitness center. Their catering is pretty good too; particularly noteworthy were the helpful and courteous staff members.
Room was clean and comfortable. There are lots of food options in the restaurant as well as a great entertainment center across the street with bowling and other activities. The front desk clerk Pillar was very gracias and polite! My only complaint was that the TV kept acting up a bit but it was a great quality HD picture. I never let them know about it so it may be an easy fix. I just didnt stress that much about it. Overall great stay.
Went for the ffa state convention hotel was, clean, rooms were big, had a desk, ice bucket ,mini fridge and coffee pot with tea bags and coffee ,showers were nice but the hot water shut off for every room on the last day. I kept the occupied sign up when I was gone so I dont know about service, there is a TV and wifi but you need to connect to your phone to watch TV and it doesnt work with YouTube so you need to have a streaming site. There is a ice and vending machine on the floor for $1.50 for a drink, ice is free.
Nice hotel. Worst service ever and room. Toilets barley worked for 2 days. Bathroom door doesnt stay closed. Never stay here again. They never came up to clean room out of the 3 days we were here. To bad we are still here and had another night booked. Would have left
I was very impressed!I recently stayed at the Hyatt in downtown Lexington, Kentucky. It is a great hotel in a perfect location. It was clean, well taken care of, had plenty of amenities, professional customer service, and was very reasonably priced. I travel to Lexington often and this is the only place I will be staying. Special thanks to Brandi Montgomery for excellent customer service.
This is a nice hotel. Good location good service. The restaurant is nice too but a little pricey. 3.95 for a cup of drip coffee ☕.I mean for 3.95 I could get a latte or something. But no, thats just for drip coffee...Still, its a good stay. 👍
This hotel is maybe one of the worst ones I have stayed in. First off the room smells of mold, there is a puke stain in the floor, not sure what is on the wall, the bed is so uncomfortable, and the sheets are awful, I’m pretty sure I can go buy better sheets at the dollar store. They didn’t have any wash clothes in our room and one towel. You can hear people all hours of the ( which I know this is not the girls faultbut still. And it was so over priced.i do not recommend this place at all.
My girlfriend and I enjoyed our stay so much, we got the opportunity to rekindle our relationship in a very comfortable king bed size. The rooms are spacious and clean, super calm, the shower is huge we showered many times together !The staff was super nice we even left them a note lolThanks a tonAmby
The hotel is definitely in a great location, however for 300 a night it did not meet my expectations. The walls were dirty in both the room and bathroom and they had used lotion, shampoo and conditioner bottles for us to use. The heat did not work really well and I was glad I brought my blanket or I would have froze! Not to mention whatever loud noise was coming from the building that sounded like someone was running a washing machine all night in the next room! The hotel bar has very poor customer service as we waited for 20 mins to get drinks then another 20 to get a second drink! We finally got the attention of one of the bartenders and just ordered 4 drinks and took them to our room. The only thing we enjoyed about the hotel was that it was right next door to Rupp! I was not impressed by this hotel and I certainly expected a lot more from a 4.5 star hotel and paying 300 a night! I give 2 stars for the location!
Still one of my favorite hotels in Lexington. Our shuttle driver always on time to pick us up and drop us off at the airport. Very helpful with our bags and friendly.Checking in at the front desk is fast and easy. Employees are all polite and friendly.Rooms are clean with comfortable king beds and medium pillows. Good size rooms with a desk and chair. Theres also a side chair with lamp for reading.Mini-fridge and safe in rooms.Bathroom towels are kept white and fluffy with good amenities. Great water pressure as well.Only negative response, no microwaves in rooms. Only a small one by the bar/restaurant.
The lobby/restaurant and bar area is very nice. I purchased a suite for a decent price. Unfortunately the room was fairly dated and bare looking. The bathroom was updated. The matress was also missing from the pull out couch which posed an issue. However, housekeeping staff was very helpful in getting to a solution. Staff were all very pleasant and helpful.
