Hyatt Regency Coral Gables in Coral Gables

We stayed at this hotel last year during our wedding weekend. We, as did our guests, really enjoyed the hotel very much.Fast forward a year later, we decided to come back and stay at the hotel to celebrate our first anniversary.We are so glad we did! It all started when we contacted Dantravia “Danni” Jones and informed her of our plans to stay at her hotel. She congratulated us on our anniversary and booked us with a suite.That alone would have been a nice gesture, but it didn’t stop there. When we checked into our beautiful suite, we quickly noticed the hotel staff placed rose petals from the entrance to our bedroom with rose petals spelling out “Love” on the bed. There was also a nice gold banner and balloons along the headboard.That alone would have been a hugely nice gesture, but it didn’t end there. The staff later surprised us by placing an ice chilled bottle of champagne and a delicious assortment of chocolates and chocolate-covered strawberries in our room.These kind gestures and niceties really helped make our first wedding anniversary so special!The Hyatt Regency at Coral Gables will always hold a very special place in our hearts!Thank you so much Danni and staff!

Excellent hotel and customer service. I would rate it as a 4-star hotel. The breakfast is fantastic, and the service also its good. They have a nice restaurant with dessert also their staff is always friendly and helpful. The swimming pool has an excellent outdoor size, and they have a small fitness center. The only downside for me was that they couldnt offer my group a late checkout which I understand as they were holding an event for an MBA Course. Inside you can find ATM and a small supermarket (not overpriced).

We had a great stay here for 3 nights. Ana was very helpful, all of the staff was great too. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The pool is just the right size. Locatio is convenient to the airport and everything else. Id stay here again.

I recently had to visit Miami for a family medical emergency. It was a lot of running around and stress, and I truly appreciate the incredible assistance of Michael - one of the front managers- with everything during my trip. He made sure each and every day that my brother and I had everything we needed, and was so kind. We also had Kayla helping us, and she was wonderful as well. Although I cant remember his name, the gentleman at the take out at Two Sisters was great and would make sure we had our food quickly because we were always on the go. I cant emphasize enough the compassion Michael showed us, and the care that the whole Hyatt team gave us during a difficult time. Our family thanks you all! :)

Amazing experience at the Hyatt Regency Coral Cables. Staff members were attentive and exceeded our expectations. Facilities, including the pool and hot tub, we well kept. Breakfast was delicious. During our stay, we had a came across a small issue and the manager, Talia, was quick to respond and resolve it.After this, we stayed at Hyatts other property, the Confidante, and wish we spent both nights at the Coral Cables property. The level of service at the Confidante did not match the level of service here.We are looking foward to the next time we can stay here.

I stayed at Hyatt Regency for business. My flight was canceled after I checked out and I had to rebook to stay another night and was moved into a new room. My first room was fantastic. Clean, balcony, quiet. My second room was not as great, unfortunately. I was facing the pool, which was lovely for a view, however, there were a few things wrong with my second room. One, there were ants all over the balcony which made it undesirable to sit on. Second, every time the a/c unit would click off, after a few seconds, there was a loud bang. Enough to wake you up over and over throughout the night and jolt you from your sleep. I turned on my white noise app which helped a little, but I wasnt able to sleep. The a/c unit needs maintenance and I did share that on my way out. Lastly, there was a palmetto bug in my room in the bathroom in the morning. I know its FL and this might be unavoidable, but it was still unpleasant. Overall, the hotel is quite nice. The lobby is comfortable and the employees are delightful. The valet is expensive, as it is everywhere, but they are very nice. The restaurant (Two Sistersserves a wonderful breakfast and buffet. There is a 24-hour market to get snacks and coffee, but no room service, unfortunately. It is close to several nice restaurants, though in the summer you dont want to walk anywhere, even if its a block away. In other months, however, the location would be perfect. Its close to the Miami airport, but you wouldnt know. The pool and hot tub is nice and quiet and you wouldnt know you are in the city. The elevators are being remodeled currently so they are very slow, but that is temporary. I would definitely stay here again, but request a room that is on a higher floor (my second one was ground floor at the pool level), as when I was up higher I didnt have ants or palmetto bugs :)

One of the most convenient hotels in Miami overall. Centrally located in beautiful Coral Gables and surrounded by a fantastic and rich variety of restaurants and coffee shops, this classic property offers great rooms and is served by well trained and polite staff. Big kudos to Michael A who excels in customer service.

Hotel was nice but for $300 a night we expected hot water. It was Luke warm so shower was not very comfortable.We were traveling with our dog and did not want to change rooms with all her stuff and it was a long trip down. We were tired and just wanted a hot showerAlso we were quoted a fee of $50 for pet and on arrival I was told it was $100.Will not be staying again at this hotel.

Very clean, very beautiful hotel. The front desk is very kind and helpful. I highly recommend asking for the map of the food in the area because it’s excellent. My only recommendation is to add hours to the map, but that’s me just being picky. The front desk was accommodating when we needed to move rooms due to noisy neighbors. Also, the cucumber water and cafecito in the lobby is key. Anyway, the rooms are roomy and the beds are comfy. And you’re so close to many of the eateries in Coral Gables. If you need to stay in the area, this is a beautiful option.

Hotel seems to have been renovated recently. Staff is very friendly and everyone still wears masks to keep you (and themsafe. Overnight valet parking is $35 while self is $30 so, spring for the extra $5 for convenience. Bell staff was great, desk arrival team was excellent as well. One of the new FD supervisors handled a Globalist arrival flawlessly. We struck up a conversation and she said she just joined about 2 months ago from the "M" company and is looking forward to a long relationship with Hyatt. Restaurant was good, ate breakfast before leaving. Buffet is $34 PP++ and an ala carte menu is also available if you are not a big eater. My only comment is when the restaurant is not very busy, like 6 tables, service should be excellent. Most of the time, colleagues were too busy chatting and I had to waive my server down to get coffee refill. Buffet was well stocked and had all of the items you would expect. Price seems a bit high to me. (just my 2centsThis hotel is pet friendly, which is awesome.I would go back to this location when my travel plans allow.

I recently had a wedding at the Hyatt Regency Coral Gables and we are extremely upset with how unorganized things were and the lack of communication from the venue.1. We reserved the presidential suite the night before the wedding and they accidentally gave the room to someone else. This caused us to miss photo ops we had planned for.2. The floor plan was completely wrong, the wrong amount of tables/chairs. My sister had to go and fix it herself.3. The designated day of coordinator from the venue that we had been in conversation with the entire process never showed up. She was sick but this was never communicated to us.4. Lobby screen had the previous wedding party information and we had to request for it to be changed.5. The tables were dirty. As the crew was setting up, my mom noticed crumbs and stains on several tablecloths. It appeared as if the tablecloths were not washed or changed from a previous event. My mom pointed this out and requested that they be changed.6. Our rental car was stolen. Lack of security!Although our night was perfect due to our amazing family & friends, I would not recommend this venue to anyone.

It’s really pretty and fancy inside. However once you go to the pool our stay was a little headache as the other guests by the pool were so rowdy and it was hard to relax (not hotel’s fault). However, Kayla and Adam at the front desk made up for that! They were so kind and helpful with everything!!! Thank you guys as you saved our vacation! We hope to return as this is a much better quality Hyatt than some other Hyatt hotels.

Beautiful hotel with wonderful staff!Talia the front office manager was absolutely a gem. She helped arrange for a special surprise for our girls birthday with beautiful birthday balloons with an upgraded suite.As a globalist member, the service and professionalism of the staff was wonderful and I’ll definitely be returning to this location for a stay in the future!

We had 96 rooms and 3 functions at his property related to my daughters wedding, which was at a country club dues to capacity constraints there.. The staff who interacted with me during the booking process were fantastic They were customer focused, flexible and a pleasure to work with. The other staff from front desk to valet (outside companywere all great.The property itself was nice, with a warm and welcoming ambience. It needs some upgrades,- including a new elevator which I am told they are working on replacing..
