Great as always, the food and owner are amazing and will be missed. Always a great time here!
MoreThe quality and taste of this food is amazing! The beet burger has got to be one of my favorite things to order, along with the mango lassi. I also like to order the daily special because it comes with soup. This place is a gem!
MoreA unique representation of Indian Street food. I recommend dining in over ordering from this joint, it makes the food taste better 😊
MoreI really really liked the samosa wrap. I also had the dish with beets patties and that was pretty good too. Next time I need to ask for Indian Spicy!
MoreThis place is a hidden gem. I didn’t even know it was Indian until I saw recommendations on Reddit. We tried pani/puri and samosa chat. It was amazing. The spice level was spot on. We will start going to this place more often and try other items on the menu.
MoreWhat an amazing food! After that meal you are full yet feel so light with lots of energy. It is so tasty and nutritious and you can tell that the owner does not compromise on the ingredients, everything is so fresh. I heard the place might close soon, so do yourself a favor and go.
MoreLove this place! Awesome food, awesome people, lots of awesome vegan options!
Superb tasting food that looks and feels healthy. Such a multitude of flavors in each bite. Clearly, one of its kind! A must visit for vegetarian food in Ann Arbor, or Michigan, or anywhere for that matter. Great folks too!
MoreWorld of pudi and power of seven was delicious and filling. I usually do not take any juice which is green in color but this one changed my perspective. Shaanu chat also was tasty. Paneer wrap was yummy
MoreFlavorful and nutritious food!
The owner takes such care and pride in his food and it shows. Absolutely delicious.
MoreReally enjoy the food here - incredibly tasty and addictive :DThe owner is really friendly and lovely as well!
MoreMy new go-to when I’m craving Indian food that’s delicious and refreshing!Pros:AffordableGood qualityGreat flavorsHealthy alternatives (the samosas are baked, not fried!)Cons:The tofu tikka wrap we got was a tad bland, I personally would’ve liked more saltCan’t wait to come back! The samosa bowl we got was so so good!
MoreThis is one of our absolute favorite restaurants in town. Everything is delicious and filling, the owner is super friendly and very knowledgeable about nutrition, and you can tell they care about their food. Cannot recommend highly enough
MoreGreat place, the owner is obviously excited about his food and menu. They have vegan food, authentic Indian, tastes great. Michigan hot is mild, but then again Im from Mexican Chicago haha, i got a 7 or 8 and added hot sauce.
MoreEvery taste was amazing. Possibly the best vegetarian cuisine in Ann Arbor. Theyre open again! Hooray!
MoreAnn Arbors best local eatery. The food is made from scratch and can accommodate nearly any dietary need. I cant get enough.
MoreWe had a very nutritious food, the wrap was made from sprouted moong and Bhel was also very tasty and healthy! We would love to eat here anytime again!
MoreAMAZING. Simply astonishingly good. Also the owner is an amazing person. My husband is allergic to the entire capcicum genus, and he made a lunch that was absolutely divine and completely safe. Its so rare to find someone who cares so deeply for their customers and for their craft. We are lucky to have this restaurant. Everyone should visit. Words cannot describe how happy we are.
MoreNot only is the food amazing, but the owner and his staff are incredibly kind. They have donated and delivered meals to residents and staff at my job since probably the beginning of the COVID-19 lockdown. I wish nothing but love and health to everyone at this location. Thank you!
MoreWhat an amazing place to grab delicious food and in-person touch with the onwer - Mr Swaroop with a wonderful history of the place.Everything on their menu is a whooa item!Just had the Beet Burger and m already smelling my fingers for the taste..😋👌
MoreAwesome food! Not just the taste but they also care about the ingredients used to prepare the food! Ive been to this restaurant a few times now and everything that Ive ordered is made fresh and always worth the wait!
MoreThis is the only food in the Ypsi-Arbor area that tastes great while also being very nutritious. It your search for looking for a restaurant that is geared towards a healthy lifestyle, this is it. I recommend the Shanu Chat and 7 Monk Soup, my girlfriend likes the Samosa bowl.He needs support more than ever now or else hell be closing down at the end of April 2021.
MoreThe food was fantastic, fresh, and filling. The owner was so gracious and patient, and helped us to navigate the menu as this was our first time there. We were just passing by on or way home from a vacation and are so lucky to have found this place! We will definitely be back when we are in the area. You could tell by the owners demeanor that he truly enjoyed preparing this nutritious and tasty food. From what I gathered from the articles on the wall, he is quite an accomplished PhD with a passion for healing bodies with food. Dont miss this place!
MoreJust stopped by hutkay fusion in Ann arbor!! Pictured are the best coconut Patty unwrap and power of 7 smoothie. Soooo good. Chutneys (mango and tamarindwere so flavorful and all ingredients were fresh and yummy. Husband had the samosa bowl which was beyond fill-ing as well.. Highly recommended. And the owner is super kind and generous. Please support this business if youre in the area :)
MoreI just had a great paneer wrap here. Super tasty sauce with crunchy fresh vegetables. Just the right spice level I was hoping for. Ive enjoyed the chaats on prior visits.
MoreSo glad we stopped here for dinner! We went at peak dinner time, so the food took a while, but it was 100% worth the wait! Everything was hot and tasted so good! We had a vegan dinner of Samosa, the Tofu Tikka wrap, That Beets-coconut wrap, and Shanu Chaat. My favorite part was the colechasia rolls in the Shanu Chaat oh my gosh. I’ve never had them before but def a new favorite of mine.Everything is labeled clearly for what is gluten free, vegan, or if it has nuts, which is pretty nice!
MoreThe wood is very unique. To be fair not everything is to my taste (But maybe it is to yours?, I just choose wisely :).The samosas are generous and delicious. The staff and the owner are very nice and just a joy to talk to.During the pandemic, they provided meal for peoples in need - It is so much who they are: Genereous. The place is extremely clean and very lovely to be.5 Stars - No regret.
MoreMy husband and I LOVED our entrees! I had the Shanu Bowl and He had the Tofu Tikka Wrap and we shared a bowl of Organic Spinach Mung Bean Soup. Everything was full of flavor, vegetables were fresh, and the balance of spice was perfect for us! And yes, Sumi and her husband were so friendly. We will definitely be returning again soon! Absolutely delicious!
MoreSo I don’t eat out much at all. However, I felt like trying something new tonight so I came across Hutkay Fusion, walking distance from my home on Packard in Ann Arbor. I’m upset I didn’t find this place years ago. Their reviews were outstanding and I noticed during the pandemic, they are giving back to the community, so I decided to give it a try. The owners were extremely helpful, kind and patient. I asked how one of their smoothies were and he immediately MADE me a sample. While I was waiting for my order, an older gentlemen forgot his wallet at home so the owner told him to just pay the next time he visits. Then an older woman comes in and the owner hands her a 10- pack of seaweed. Apparently when they go shopping at Costco they get the woman this. She told me they help her out because she’s “old”, she was also hysterical. I am so impressed with this business. If you’re in the area I highly recommend supporting them, the same way they support the community. Oh by the way, the food was amazing! I am definitely interested in returning as well as checking out their cook & dine event.
MoreA vegans dream! Perfect crunch , spices texture taste buds were thrilled at the same time Im sure my cells were saying thank you!
MoreAmaaaaaaazing! So tasty and fresh. Im already planning my next trip back. Chef Swaroop, Ph.D is so nice. He explained the menu to us, and its clear that he puts a lot of effort into crafting each dish. The sauces are excellent and well-balanced. The quality of ingredients was superb, and I felt great after eating. I loved my Shanu Bowl, especially the colechasia rolls on top. They tasted like some sort of delicious bread, but turns out its a vegetable!
MoreThe owner is a passionate chef! We can see that he loves his work. And we can feel it through the food we ate. Its delicious, he describes and adapt everything if we have any concerns about added sugar or any other ingredients. Its a well deserved 5 stars !
MoreDelicious healthy food at reasonable prices. The location is humble, but dont be fooled. This restaurant is a winner. It does a brisk takeout business so there are always tables available. I recommend eating in. Seek suggestions from the owner. He enhances the experience with his friendly manner and his knowledge of food and the health benefits of how he prepares the meals. I have had many items from the menu. All were terrific. Insider tip, try the "Power of 7" smoothie and ask him to make it 8 by adding basil. He suggested this and I get it every time now.
MoreAwesome! Food was great and staff was polite😁
This place is amazing. The owner is a health-conscious person. I appreciate this business. The food is very delicious and healthy. This is the first time I order for my kids vegetarian meal and they truly love it. Try mango lassi! Its amazing!
MoreHutkay Fusion isnt trying to replicate authentic Indian street food exactly, and thats okay. Whats there is very tasty and healthful food. The owner, Swaroop, is passionate about creating new flavors, and recreating familiar dishes without using fats, oils, sugar, and processed ingredients. There is no deep fryer on the premises. My wife and I always leave the restaurant feeling full and satisfied, but not bogged down. This food is different, but different in a very good way.
MoreExceptional food! So fresh. We had the shanu bowl and daily special of ancient grains bowl (not pictured but soup/salad that accompanies is pictured). Recommend everything as another table looked like they ordered most of the menu and they said everything was delicious!
MoreNew items on the menu! Fabulous .. All dishes are like no other food Ive enjoyed. I wowed a friend bringing her for her first visit. We were honored to be asked to sample a new creation... Better than Nutella in taste and effects on our bodies. Cant wait to buy some!
MoreAmazing taste and yet very very healthy, a rare in todays junkfood world.
Delicious and healthy food that satisfies! We tried several dishes, and we couldn’t choose a favorite. We stopped in for lunch while traveling from Ohio, and had the fortune to have a great discussion on human nutrition with Swaroop, the owner who happens to be a molecular biologist.
MoreI had my lunch here with my family last Sunday and super impressed by the concept of the fusion with Indian recipes. This restaurant will be a big hit or miss as the variations in plates are more expected in any fine dining restaurant. The quality of cooking is clearly visible as the owner is taking care of each small ingredients which could be bad for health. Example is that owner mentioned me that they dont use any type of white or artificial sugar and only natural source of sugars are used like dates etc. Also the owner prepare a variety of homemade sauces, and most of them are out of the world in taste! My recommendation is high if you want to try Indian food with some variations. You might get disappointed by the quantity. Although considering the innovation in the plate, it is acceptable
MoreHealthy food with great tasts. Wonderful service. 👍
This is by far the most interesting twist to the Indian Cuisine I’ve ever tasted. The menu is very healthy. The chef is extremely careful about the quality of the ingredients used in the dishes. Overall it was a great first impression. Highly recommended!!
MoreThis food is simply fantastic. Very authentic, flavorful and even healthy! If you are looking for basic indian-american goop, go elsewhere. If you want a delightful and authentic meal, and you do, come here.(Full disclosure, I would not have tried this for lunch had I known it was a vegetarian restaurant. I am VERY glad I was unaware, and tried their food anyway!!! Signed, a dedicated carnivore)
MoreLove this place food was great, but the few glasses that were out werent clean. Wasnt what I was used to from this place.
MoreThis is the absolute best restaurant in Ann Arbor. The food is legit, the staff is awesome (the owner has a PhD in the sciences and knows all about nutrition), and its very affordable. I cant recommend Hut-K enough to anyone who likes or might like outstanding Indian food.
MoreI had such fun dining experience here. The staff and owners are socially conscious, take serious pride in their street food and have delicious chai.
MoreThis place its not typical Indian cuisine - their focus is healthy eating. There is Vegan and vegetarian options on the menu. They actually research all of the ingredients they use to prepare your meal. Their wraps are not just wheat tortillas, they are made from sprouted grains. So are their buns. They use some dairy products. There are are several Chaats on the menu, C7 is very good.
MoreInterior is fine, people are friendly but food tastes weird. I know how a particular Indian dish tastes so I would not go there again. If you have never tasted authentic Indian food, then you may like it.Access is easy / convenient , ample parking.
