Huskypoint Oy in Rovaniemi

Had amazing sledding experience with Alaska huskies’ for about 15 kilometers on a beautiful snow-clad terrain. Our guide, Sarah was really helpful, kind and friendly. She and her colleague made the journey comfortable, enjoyable and safe by training, constant observation and some refreshment in Finnish style. The track was beautiful and the scenery at the stop was breathtaking. The journey ended after meeting some nice breeds of huskies. The place is very near to Rovaniemi city. Highly recommended.

We had such a great time with Sarah, our guide for the Huskies Safari. She is really passionate about what she does, she good care of us and took some precious time to explain us everything about the dogs, the races, her job. You can trust this farm without any doubts, they take really good care of the dogs and the kota to enjoy a warm drink around the fireplace is very nice. Thank you for everything, we had an amazing experience!

Great experience, 5 km ride, on alaski asci dogs, great explanation about the farm, raising and preparing of dogs for the races and breeding of these beautiful and lovely dogs.

Wonderful experience: friendly and knowledgeable guides. We did the deep forest safari and recommend as it is a longer experience. Rather expensive experience overall but their prices are aligned to other comparable offers in the area. Recommend! Dogs were easily approachable and accepted to be petted by children.

Book this ASAP! Was skeptical at first about mushing some dogs around in the cold since I love dogs so much but these guys are super happy. This is a much better life than the ones half of dog owners back home give. The guide was lovely and full of information and the journey was a blast. Highly recommend!!!

An amazing experience for adults and children, everything is organized, safe and tidy. The place staff is professional and charming.

In this Husky Safari, we went outside of Rovaniemi to a Husky farm.At the farm, after a short instructions fr one of the guides, we went on a sleigh rides (2 per eachfor around 40 minutes. Until weve reached a beautiful view point high in the mountain. There was also a traditional tippy in which we had a small break with hut Berry joice.After the break we had back on the sleighs and ride back to the farm.Once back we had some more time of hugging and petting the dogs, which some were really excited and some were shy.We watched a movie explaining about long dog sleigh race, which is the main reason for the existence of this specific farm.The guide was super nice and cute :)She explained everything about the dogs, showing she has a great knowledge and experience with them.

Loved this place. It was real fun to travel with the haskies.

It was a bit expensive but I feel like it was worth it. We spent 150 euro pp. And we did a two hour safari. And after the guide tolt a lot of info.

I had a great experience.The place is beautiful and provides good service.However, this sport raises questions about the dogs...we were told that dogs who retired from races are farmed, when I asked to see them the guide said that there are currently no retired dogs. Sey what ???

If you want to experience huskeys up close, take them sled riding and learn about them in general this is the place to go. We went for the 30 minute huskey sled riding and had a blast. Included is warm clothes, shoes, hat, mittens and socks. After your ride you get information about the point and huskeys in general.

A fantastic experience with the family in April 2018. More than two hours of fun with about 1.5 hours of that behind the dogs on the sleigh. Very informative and well presented.We called direct and drove there ourselves, thus no transfers needed.

Nice and othenic. A quick safty guidance and some instructions. Starting an hour and half of ride at wonderland of snow. Although the ride is not fadt and calm, you get to enjoy.

Heavily advertised in various places, including descriptions of summer activities. But when we drove up (in early July), they were "closed for the summer."
