Husky Lodge in Kiruna

Var på Husky Lodge augusti 2021. Annorlunda hotell med riktig myskänsla! Personalen var hur trevlig och tillmötesgående som helst!Finns allt som behövs, sovplats, delat badrum, frukost buffé och fina uteplatser.Gillar man hundar är denna plats perfekt! Skulle man vilja kan man få följa med personalen och mysa med hundarna, vilket var väldigt roligt och uppskattat!

Mysigt.

We came to have a look to see if we wanted to stay there, as we were roaming travellers, however on arrival we were told that it was a private property and that we should leave. There were no signs it was a private property, and i understand these business make money with their cute dogs, but being nice goes a long way as we actually considered staying there until this interaction.

Intressant hotel som inte är som andra. Det är mer en upplevelse att få sova i en yurt. Jättetrevlig personal.

Die bisherigen guten Bewertngen kann ich nicht nachvollziehen, leider hatten wir aufgrund dieser Bewertungen 2 Übernachtungen gebucht.die Lodge ist schlecht geführt, Gäste finden hier keine Beachtung,keinen Service, Hygiene Fehlanzeige.das ganze Gelände ist ungepflegt und wirkt gerümpelig.übernachtung und Huskytouren sind völlig überteuert.Wer gern die Spülmachine ausräumt, selbst Eier und Kaffee kocht, wäre in jeder Jugendherberge besser aufgehoben.Hier nie wieder!völlig unprofessionell!

Super cool experience with the warm hospitality and guidance from Met and Karin. Huskyes puppies are so cute! I do recommend this tour to everyone!

Très bonne expérience du combiné chiens de traîneau motoneige. Nous avons évolué sur un plateau magnifique avec toutes ces magnifiques lumières. Merci au personnel au top!!!

Stayed at the Husky Lodge one night and also went on a husky tour. The surrounding is amazing and the team so friendly. The rooms and communal areas are nice and cosy. You can easily head out to catch the northern lights. Train station is a 15mn walk away, town centre a bit longer. Highly recommend the Husky Lodge!

Trevlig personal, fina rum. Detta hotell känns mer som ett hem än ett hotell, fast med en massa huskys vilket jag personligen uppskattar.

Mysigt rum, god frukost och nära läge. Allt är perfekt!

Bra service, trevlig personal och otroliga och gemytliga upplevelser i vacker natur. Att avrunda dagen med bastu och utomhus spabad gjorde det hela perfekt.

Stayed in the Aurora Domes and it was incredible to look up at the stars at night and we even saw a faint aurora! Its extremely private and we basically had the whole place to ourselves. Full kitchen with stove and a nicely prepared breakfast waiting for us each morning. 4/5 stars only because the bathroom is away from the dome and its a walk to get there which isnt great for any middle of the night bathroom trips

One of the best experiences Ive ever hadWe spent 2 weeks in February at the kiruna husky lodge. From the first minute we felt very welcome and integrated by the hosts Sebastian and Chiara and the staff Lea and Peter who were so kind and caring. We have experienced the dog sled tour during the day and at night with the Northern Lights. This was an extraordinary experience to feel the power of the dogs, the cold and the nature. The dogs are very nice and tame. We experienced the iglos and slept in it, which was also very impressive. So we highly recommend a stay there same days!

The dog sled experience and guide were great but Id skip lodging here. We didnt realize we had to share one bathroom between 10 people, the sauna was pre book only so we had to wait until everyone else went to bed, their spare bed if you are a party of 3 is the cheapest smallest ikea futon on the market with a giant bar in the middle and they rush you out in the morning before check out if you want a ride back into town.

We stayed here for one night from December 26th to December 27th in one of the Arctic domes. The accommodation is brilliant with an diesel fuel oven providing a fireplace atmosphere and a transparent roof and side of the dome. With -15 degrees outside the place was cozy and comfy and a real experience of its kind. We booked a sled dog tour for the evening which was also a very nice experience, helping the sledge to get ready and having a tour through the dark with our brilliant leader and her 8 dogs. I can really recommend the place for an extraordinary experience still in a more small scale family business like setting. So don’t expect all the comfort of the big hotel chains but be ready for a unique and romantic experience.

Great staff, good tours, good food. Great place to stay. Husky dogs live gear so you can get close and friendly with them. It has a sauna and jacuzzi to rest those limbs and muscles after a day out in the wilds 😊😉

Had a great stay in one of the Aurora domes. The short walk to the dome is candle lit. Very cozy and warm feeling. The people were friendly and welcoming. Also got complimentary dinner of reindeer quiche made by a dope frenchmen. 100% would stay again. Worth staying multiple nights.

Vi planerade att fira nyår på ishotellet men vi var sent ute att boka så det här var ett av de få ställena som fans kvar att boka. Det visade sig vara en riktig vinstlott. Jag gillar igenligen inte att dela toalett och dusch med andra gäster men det kompeserar sig i det här fallet med att det är inte bara dusch och toalett i den här servicebyggnaden utan också bastu och jacuzzi. Det ingick även kvällsmat.Om man är sugen på ett lite anulunda boende men inte vill frysa i ett is-rum på ishotellet så kan det här vara ett kul alternativ. Vi eldade på bra och hade nog en 27 grader i våran Aurora Yurt.

For me the sled dog and snow mobile excursion was one of my favourite experiences in Sweden!What an honour to be pulled by our fellow furry creatures, who are taken care of so well by Mats and his team.The coffee and cake break in the Tipi by the fire was soul nourishing.The adrenaline of riding a snow mobile is fantastic and extremely fun.Thank you to the facilitators for your professional and caring guidance.I definitely plan to return for longer!

Very friendly staff, good atmosphere and a great remote location which is easily accessible by car. The breakfast and the rooms were good and allow for a great meeting spot with the few other guests. All in all a great experience!

Awesome Tour, especially when doing it early in the morning. Did the combi tour, which lasted approx. 2,5 hours. Tour Guides were competend and very, very friendly. Can only recommend this very unique die experience!

Amazing lodge tour! Met all the wonderful dogs and puppies, ran with them and learnt a lot. Amazing staff and great fika! Must do 😊ps: Dogs are pretty jumpy so wear tough clothes.

Ein wunderbarer Ort, sehr freundliche Menschen, wunderschöne Hunde. Alles sehr modern eingerichtet, es fehlt an nichts. Die Sauberkeit in der Lodge ist exzellent. Hier würde ich jederzeit wieder Übernachten.

If you like dogs, winter and adventures - Husky lodge is right place for you. They can organize for you daily tour or tour for several days... very good organisation. Guider is very professional. I suggest everybody to try this adventure and enjoy...

Best experience we had in Kiruna. Id absolutely recommend starting in their lodge at least one night. Friendly staff, awesome dogs, great food, beautiful setting great for watching the Aurora.

the experience itself is nice but the staff barely talked to us and didnt explain us anything about the dogs. They also made us wait outside in the middle of the trip for more than 30 min because we were supposed to wait for another group. It feels very industrial and I recommend going to another company for this experience.

Bodde i eget rum och delade kök och badrum med övriga gäster, rent och fint överallt. Blev uppmött av trevlig personal och fick god frukost serverad nästa dag. Fantastiskt att det låg mitt i slädhundsverksamheten, men blev inte alls störd av hundarna, tycker snarare det adderar till upplevelsen. Plus obegränsat mys med valpar, bättre än så blir det ju inte :)

Bit more expensive than other stugas but you get what you pay for. Good beds, friendly service and a really good breakfast. The dogs are a nice bonus.
