An oddity of sorts, located in the Shenandoah Heritage Market. Its kind if like an over 60 hang out, a twist on the yuppie coffee/tea house...kind of cool. Had coffee and strawberry rurbarb pie. Very good, especially the coffee. Vinyl table cloths, old school basket meals, real mugs and plates available. :)

Great environment, friendly staff

Had lunch here with a friend and her 3 year old granddaughter. There was something for all of us on the menu and it was delicious. The service was efficient and friendly. Will definitely go back!

Ive been a long time customer but not anymore. Ive called several times to place a order and have been put on hold for over 10 minutes or they never come back to the phone. I drive up there and still receive no service. Never again

We have eaten there twice this year. First time they made the wrong entree but they did correct it. Again today it was just not a great experience. A simple hamburger, a ruben, fries and two soft drinks was $29.09. Seems like prices are up and the quality is down. Strong bleach smell coming from an employee cleaning nearby as we ate.

Visited with my four children today, one of which has a dairy allergy. I asked about dairy ingredients prior to ordering to be reassured the entree had no dairy. Upon being delivered to my table, the bread had been noticeably buttered. Although they did replace the item-food allergies are a serious thing! Thankfully we noticed!Lastly, the woman serving us was most impolite and my children actually referred to her as rude. When spoken to, she would not respond. Sad first experience.

Nice atmosphere for a quick bite. Sat down and finished within 20 minutes. The bacon on the burgers have that good crispyness:fat ratio. I also got a frozen coffee drink. It’s not super sweet which I like! I will come back on my lunch breaks :)

Delicious country cooking

I had a sweet tooth. I bought the jumbo red velvet cupcake and the Italian peanut butter cup gelato. The cupcake had a strong cream cheese flavor but the cupcake was too dry to me. I didn’t eat it all. The gelato was good but not my favorite. There were plenty of tables to sit down though. It was in its own little section in the market and it was about in the middle of the market. I wouldn’t order the cupcake or gelato again, it was just OK. Prices were OK. It was almost $9 for a small cup of gelato and a jumbo cupcake. For the taste of both it was not worth the $9. They have other food to order like sandwiches, burgers, soups, etc. The cashier was friendly. 3 stars because it is about average for a cupcake/gelato from all the places I have tried in the last year and the service was good.

WORSE PLACE EVER!!1.They will give you a drink holder but ask you to bring back for next time because they are expensive. 2. They wont take Discover even though they have before because thats all I had. 3. I ordered 3 burgers. I ask for only mustard, mayonnaise & onions. None of that was on there & they put what I told them not to put which was lettuce & tomato. I called back & told them they messed up on 2 of the burger. The answer was Im sorry. I was like thats your answer. I called back again & he said they dont charge for onions he would give me a little back. I ask how would you like your meal be wrong & you get Im sorry I didnt charge you for the onions. Plus on my lunch break & couldnt go back. Vicky the owner is rude. You lost our business before over the drink holder & I gave you another chance but this was your last. Ill let ALL my friends know about you & not send anyone else there. They are very expensive & you dont get that much food for the money.

Great little hidden gem. Outstanding menu selection, food is delicious and you can taste the freshness.

First the soup and bread were delicious. A little expensive ($9.50 with drink), but such as life.But to wait 26 minutes for someone to ladle it out, and only after I asked how much longer, is ridiculous. Short-staffed and thats on management.I wont be back.
