Very smart bar, with own brewery paraphernalia. Wide range of beers and spirits. Very smart surroundings. Expensive, as all of Norway. Seemed to be the same prices wherever you go, so get ready for eye watering prices.. eg £10 for a standard measure of lager, just under a pint! Good luck.

Any traveler staying in Bodø really needs to eat at Hundholmen. While it may be true that the entrance looks a bit like a TGI Fridays, the cuisine and service are more than comparable to high-end places in major cities like Oslo or Stockholm.We had a delightful waitress from Brazil who was extremely knowledgeable about the menu, beer, and wine list. The bouillabaisse was to die for, and the tenderloin was cooked perfectly. The vegetarian option was also really exquisite.Really can’t say enough good about Hundholmen. Definitely check it out!

Nice bar, good selection of beers and other drinks although much of what was on the menu was out. Then again it is the middle of the winter so youd assume they are not fully stocked ;-)

a great place for a Friday evening

Absolutely no service there. They just bring food and take away empty plates. That’s all. No smiles, no greetings, barely answers to any questions. You just got that strong feeling you’re disturbing. Never had such experience somewhere else over the whole country.Didn’t even got a napkin during my lunch. Also no fork and no knife for the fish soup with a fish filet so I had to cut it with a spoon.The food was just okay. It looked better than it tasted. The fish was over cooked and became pretty chewy. The soup was too flat but there was no salt and pepper and no one you can ask for it. The burger was like something you can cook by yourself at home.The price was fair.Also nothing special about the atmosphere. Especially if the next table smokes when you are dining.Quite disappointing. No recommendation.

Keep calm and do not expect your plate to arrive fast.After 40 min waiting for a fish soup and a burger, and not a word from the waiters, i finally heard that it was normal since they were busy with a big table.We chosen the bar menu to be served fast 👌🤣 ...Waiting for our food and maybe a word of excuse? LolBut the waiter looks more occupied to seduce his co-worker 😁

I cant underatand how others give less than 5 Stars?Its fantastic atmosphere, and very comfortable inside. Came around 12:00 and ordered some food which took long because they took care of the milk intolerance my companion had, so they made extra bread for her before removing all the diary products.Would visit again 10/10

Wow! Go here if you want a fantastic good food experience! The meny have many different meals to choose from. (Fish, whale, beef or other)The bar also have a big selection.

Great beers and great atmosphere. We tried a couple of beers off the menu and they were smooth and delicious and stronger than everything else we found. They couldn’t find an English menu for us so they helped us translate and even offered a few things that were specialties that were not on the menu. At the end I chose the burger which they claimed was the best in town and after I was done I didn’t argue, as it was excellent. I was glad we were sitting in the bar side as it was the atmosphere we wanted but the restaurant looked cozy and nice.

Loved the place! Nice, big gastropub but it still keeps an intimate feel to it at times. Enjoyed the variety of beers and the good service.

Nice home made ales and nice spacious pub, with comfy sofas etc, but we didnt like the app order system, it took ages to get drinks..

Food and beer delicious, in a very cool building. Owner gave us a little tour and some history of the city. Loved it!

See that the manager is there, ask him to join you. Ask him what he is proud of, which beer he would recommend from his collection of own brews... and thereafter you ask him to choose food for you. Before you ask him which island to visit around Bodø. Thats a wrap. A success in Bodø. Im sure he will you offer you tastes and stories, what else is there, really?

This is one of those indispensable places that really create their own community and is a natural meeting place. A cozy gastropub, soft (barely noticeablemusic, a cheerful but not boisterous crowd. Tons of excellent beers on tap and bottle, lots of spirits on display too. A running brewery on the second floor filling the place with the smells of malts and hops. The personnel seemed happy, professional and knowledgeable. And to top everything off, the food is excellent! Id consider moving to Bodø just to live near this place.

As Belgians we like tot drink and taste beer so this place was the best spot tot visit. Had diner as well...friendly staff and a cosy place...thx

Great bar with good atmosphere. Always popular with the locals. Its also a pretty good micro brewery to go with a large selection of drinks. There is a restaurant but Ive not tried the food yet, however theres always people eating which is a good sign.

Appearently the most hip place to go out in Bodø during the weekend. Serves both food and drink. Fish soup was delicious. Also brew their own beer. A little expensive.

Their IPA was a bit high on the ABV, but was one of the more flavorful beers I have had in Norway. The burger was delicious.

Went on a Monday late lunch. Place was quiet but female servers at the bar was attentive and sincere! Lots of seats to choose from but I preferred those near the window as it was bright and cosy.Good:- the food was really tasty. Must try their fish soup and celery schitnzel.- their local beer is tasty, nice and light.- female servers at bar was really nice and sincere.I highly recommend this place for food, and beer of you drink.

In house brewed beer is exceptional. Food menu is pleasantly short and simple, quality and presentation was great.The interior is comfortable with plenty of room for either a couple or groups of people. Choice of Al la carte or bistro menus. Very positive and welcoming staff.

Great atmosphere, service, and most importantly - amazing house beers and food! Price may seem a bit expensive (to Australians with the current low dollarbut it is well reflected in the quality.

Wide selection of beers from Bodø, Norway, and more. The food was some of the best I’ve had in Norway, too. You can eat here and be back to the Hurtigruten northbound with time to spare.

4 of their own beers on tap at the time of my visit (all pretty strong it has to be said: Saison, IPA, wheat and Bayer - each one was +7%). I tried 2, they were both very good. They also do have guest beers on draft although why anyone would pay £10 for a pint of 1664 or Carlsberg is beyond me. (It has to be said that there were some more interesting guests available too to be fair). Food was also ok if horrendously expensive. So at least the prices are consistent.

Great even by international standards. Homemade beer was surprisingly hood, the burger also (smoked meat and fresh vegetables). The cheese was the best blue cheese I ever tasted (it won the award of cheese in the worldand chocolate mousse was less special but still good.Bar looks great and waitress was nice, overall a very good dining experience. Prices are good by Norwegian standards, but I wouldnt mind paying these prices outside of Norway for this quality.

Amazing food, amazing atmosphere, with good local beer! My wife and I had our wedding reception dinner here. For the rest of the trip many of our guests said it was one of the best meals they’d had.

Best bar in Bodø with no exceptions. Fantastically delicious and well presented food as well. Service is at a level that is unrivaled in Bodø.

Only a short visit during our brief stop on a Hurtigruten cruise but have to say this is a really nice place. Its on the waterfront and inside has 2 floors with the brewery visible on the 2nd floor. Good selection of beers on draft and in can and bottle, and the service was very good. Didnt have food but the menu looked good

Very nice, cozy, restaurant. Excellent service and excellent food. We had the "Todays catch" special, and the chef had no trouble making it milk-free. Easily recommended for a romantic dinner.

Early evening visit mid-week saw only a handful of customers. This could explain why the food (we had the crispy pig -- squares of tender belly pork on a bed of salad with peanut saucewas barely warm, although it was tasty.House-brewed beer (I had a strong, dark alewas excellent, though.

Nice and friendly staff. They brew their own beer there, which where two of them are very dark. Really cool atmosphere and looks of the place, with some tables made for many people. In the second floor you can also see where they brew the beer. Its worth checking out if youre wondering what to do for an evening in Bodø!

Very nice place. Great beer. Especially their own beers are tasty and little bit different. Staff is friendly and helpful. Spacious, clean and relaxed. Menu is special too.
