Amazing burgers! Very reasonably priced drinks. Wait staff is super friendly! Loved this place!!

We sat down and our server was extremely rude, to the point where before we even got to order our food we wanted to leave. We asked for the bill on our drinks (it was 5 of us and only two bought achololwhich we didnt touch and she charged us for those and the one appetizer which we had not received. It amounted to 31 dollars and a terrible experience.

The only food I enjoyed was the lemon pie. The apps were the wrong texture, and the burger was dry. The Thai place next door is such a better option.

Delicious burger! house made pickles were delicious! And I don’t even like pickles! Good steak fries and also strong drinks. Claire was great would recommend to anyone who loves a good burger

I love this location! Its my go to spot whenever Im downtown without reservations. The food is always great and great prices considering the current inflation.

2.8 stars. Server was very friendly. The place smelled of old something. I asked for a medium burger and it came out rare; almost raw in the center. What I ate of it was otherwise good. Onion rings are huge. A little pricey but that is to be expected downtown. Had an issue a few hours later but cant be certain it was related to the burger.

A group of us went on Friday night, the service was super! We loved our waitress, very personable. The ambience was fun with graffiti everywhere. The burger was nothing spectacular, it was good overall but Ive had better for cheaper.

They have really good hamburgers and I also loved the wings and fried pickles and the onion rings were really good as well.

For $9 the Burger was too small. Plus the add-ons where wrong and no apology for the mistake. Taste was good but not something I would woh about.

It was packed but our service was fantastic! We left another place and walked a block because it was so bad before we even sat down. Glad we did!! Good food, good service. Thank you!

Ordered burger well done with cheddar, but when it was delivered it had swiss and was very undercooked. Called Hueys and was told that a manager would call me back and no one ever did. They had no interest in making it right.

What can I say. The environment was cool with some cool things to look at while you wait. Also why not write your name down on a wall to. The burger I had was pretty good. Tasted the bbq sauce by it self but our waiter said trust its a lot better on the burger. Well he was right. I recommend this place for a good meal. 4 stars cause the fries could have been cooked a little longer to all of us that was there. Other then that I cant say I wont be back cause it was cool.

We dined in yesterday, and everyone was so kind and helpful. The food was amazing, and well-priced. Definitely would recommend for a chill group dining experience on Beale Street!

Awesome low prices and great food!

It was conveniently just about a 10 minute walk, on a sidewalk next to the main road from our hotel, and nestled into the corner. Very easily accessible and appeared to be the most comfortable place to stop at for food and drinks. The bartender was polite but preferred making traditional drinks, although he did make my specialty drink quite well. I felt the inside temperature was just right for the hot summer evening, so no sweater or jacket was neccssary for me.

Hueys is always a good choice for burgers. They do have food other than burgers for those that dont want something else. The downtown location is one of my favorites.

Supposed to be catfish and steak fries look wat I got!!!!! The manager never got back in contact with me. The wait staff is just plain unprofessional. I will NEVER go there again!!!!!

The food was great and the atmosphere was nice. I was overcharged after the tip was added and the manager did not follow through on resolving this issue as he said he would. I do not plan to visit this location in the future as I am very disatisfied in how this was mishandled.

Best wings in the South. I left Memphis in 2012 and still come back for Hueys! You cant shoot toothpicks at the ceiling anymore because of COVID though.

A bad quick meal and desert choice before right closing. Nachos that seemed like what was left over at the end of the day. The staff was nice but seemed tired. I would go there again and try something else earlier in the day.

Portion size definitely lacks at this location. The cheese fries had very little toppings at all and were over cooked. The sunshine burger was supposed to come with mushrooms but of course wasnt on there. We asked repeatedly for extra ketchup and ranch but I guess that was asking to much, Ill stick to the millington location from now on.

Burgers are very good as well as the fried mushrooms.

It was okay at first. We were seated right away. The food came out pretty quick. There wasn’t much flavor on my burger and had to dip it in ketchup. The fries aren’t worth it. My husband had a burger as well. Service was okay, but we had to ask every time we needed a refill. When we were done, we gave our waitress our ticket and cash and told her to keep the change. As we stood up to leave, she came back to us and asked if she did something wrong. We were confused and said no? And she was like, “okay well I’m only worth ($ we tippedthis much? Okay!” and she walked away crying. We usually tip pretty good, but we’ve never been complained at for not leaving enough. To be honest, it wasn’t even worth what we paid, then my husband and I were sick the whole night after eating there. We won’t be back.

Great choice, I selected this restaurant because I was craving a hamburger and it was a great choice. The hamburger was excellent and the service was on point. On holidays it gets busy so expect longer waiting times to get service. Otherwise enjoy your meals. I will definitely come back to this restaurant.

We saw everyone leaving with bags and bags, had to try it, great after show fill up, Reuben, key lime pie, and cheese fries was plenty for two, so freakin good, they know food in Memphis

Good, not great. I enjoyed this burger on Texas toast. But the onion rings looked better than they were. They weren’t very crispy and served with just plain ketchup. I think that is meh. Also, not a fan of the location much. I probably wouldn’t go back, but it was a tasty burger and they weren’t super busy.

Visiting Memphis and stopped at Hueys for the burgers. It was a great choice.Wonderful atmosphere with a true Memphis vibe.Lots of options in the menu. Vegetarian/vegan friendly by offering black bean and impossible patties.Bar on site and plenty of seating. Service was very fast, we barely had to wait. We were very satisfied with our visit.Servings are big. They have a kids menu. Good place for the whole family located right in downtown.

Great restaurant. Food was incredible. Prices fair. Kids and adults will enjoy it. Good atmosphere. Friendly staff. They brought my son a burger with cheese on it when asked for one with no cheese, but when we pointed out the mistake they immediately apologized and got another one out to us quickly. Great experience for my family.

HUEY LEWIS a great rock star with great taste for good food. Down here in Memphis with the wifey on a road trip to a wedding. I had the old tyme A-1 Burger with tater tots.This Burger is a 10 for sure!! I was hesitant because I didnt want the over abundance of barbecue sauce. But the amount they put on was Just perfect! not overwhelming. taste was amazing! My wife had the potato soup (10 Potatoes were huge flavor was great she said. She also had the salad which was fresh And crisp. Service was a 10, cleanliness was a 10, and the bathrooms were 10. There were also starting Trivia night which we thought was kind of cool.. Great vibe, great atmosphere. Best of all was the price.!! Very affordable!!

Service was terrific. Food was on par with expectations. While the entrees werent perfect, our server made up for it with her witty personality and above average understanding of guest satisfaction. The staff itself was wonderful, and the atmosphere was amazing. You owe it to yourself to experience this place at least once

On the day we were there they were very busy but we got seated quickly and our order was taken quickly and received our food quickly. I was impressed by those things. However we ordered drinks and water. I wanted lemon for my water and could not get it. I ask 3 different people 3 times. Also we having good conversion havent seen my lunch partner in a long time and we were talking and enjoying ourselves. After we finished eating we continued to talk but management wanted to flip the table. I did not like that because we tipped accordingly. There is more to service than flipping the tables fast. I did not like that at all.

If youre in Memphis, do your belly a favor and go get a Texas Toast burger from Hueys!! Hands down, it was the best burger Ive ever had.We went on a Saturday and there was no wait to be seated. Our server was super friendly and the food arrived quickly. I actually ordered a regular cheeseburger and tots and my husband ordered the Texas Toast burger with hand-battered onion rings. He was raving about how delicious it was so I took a bite, even though I didnt have high expectations because (1my burger was awesome and (2I dont like pepper jack cheese or jalapenos.... It was hard for me to admit he was right, lol. Seriously, its amazing. Go get one! :Great atmosphere, excellent service, incredible food. Well definitely be back the next time were in the area.

Atmosphere is energetic and the service is friendly. Unfortunately the food was quite bad, soggy fries and burnt chicken. Maybe they were having an off night?

I was a little skeptical of this place at first but I was sold rather quickly. Burger was awesome loaded tots were on point. Another spot to hit while in Memphis!

Omg one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time! The food arrived SUPER fast and wait staff was great, and also were all wearing masks which was nice. I also appreciated that I asked for a well done burger and it was actually well done with no pink (which doesn’t usually happen). Also liked that the tater tots were seasoned (delicious)! Good prices on food and drinks, wouldn’t hesitate to eat here again!

A downtown Memphis must eat. Stop here to eat good, hot food and a fun atmosphere. The loaded up fries are awesome.

Decent service. Average burgers which they are supposedly known for .The sausage and cheese plate is half the size of others we have ordered in the area and not as good either .See no reason to come back here .

We went to Hueys on the advice of friend, and it did not disappoint. We sat at the bar, which we always enjoy. The space has a great atmosphere, and service is prompt and friendly. Finally, the food is delicious. My husband enjoyed his French dip sandwich, and I devoured my bunless sunshine burger - it was cooked perfectly. If you find yourself in downtown Memphis, I highly recommend it!

Hueys was a quaint little restaurant in bustling downtown Memphis. We were there on a Sunday morning so it wasnt crowded. The chicken pineapple kabobs had a wonderful flavor. The wife and I each got the kabobs with steamed veggies as a side. The steamed veggies were seasoned perfectly and were awesome. We were kinda on a diet. If the steamed veggies were that good I imagine their burgers would be incredible. Ha! We are definitely going back when we can budget a burger and fries in the diet. Thy also had some upbeat tunes playing like Tame Impala, Dope Lemon, and Glass Animals.

Good service - casual atmosphere. A friend that was raised in Memphis said it is a local fave so we had to give it a try. I got the chicken mini sandwhiches (buffalo styleand they were pretty good! I also got a side of onion rings and really liked that they use red onions. They have quite a few local beers which my husband enjoyed. It was within walking distance of our hotel which made it super convenient!

It is what it is here. Not fine dining. The BEST bar food and burger joint food ever. The fried pickles, fried mushrooms, burgers, and sweet potato fries are all some of the best I have ever have.Its on the corner downtown. Bartenders and staff are great.Bathrooms are clean.Its a fun, eclectic and enjoyable.
