8801 N Territorial Rd, Dexter, MI 48130, United States, Ann Arbor
Large park offering hike/bike trails, golf, disc golf, picnic & sports areas, boating & fishing.
good place for a wedding probably and I liked the tunnel by the playground also my diet Pepsi cans stuck together very cool
Amazing day.Suicide awareness walk.Humble and kind ✌️
Went for disc golf it was a very good course would love to play it again, even getting downpoured on and having a very wet round still was a good course want to play it on a dry dayUnfortunately left a green yellow undertaker with a custom stamp on it out there, i dont even remember throwing it before getting to 18 and reaching for it
Beautiful park with 🚲/🚶 trails, 🛶 launch and 💿 ⛳. The entrance gate was not attended so we had to drive to the park office and 🚶 a couple of 100 feet to buy the daily pass. I since learned, you can buy the pass online - I will do that next time. To be honest, I was annoyed that the daily pass was required when the gate was not attended. I am sure many visitors just skip going to the park office.
Golf course was in good shape and the greens were good. Typical metro park course, long.
I have only gone to play disc golf a few times but it is well maintained and designed. There are also multiple restroom locations with is not common for disc golf courses.
It was a great place. We had a company party with volleyball, lots of grass, and a shaded place to eat.
It was a bit of a drive getting there but enjoyed playing the course.
Very nice well maintained disc golf course.
Been a family park for over 60 years , always clean , has black top path for walking , bicycles, jogging, rollerblading, areas you can fish , canoe or tube , very peaceful at this park with plenty of elbow space
The photos dont do justice to the metropark. Nestled 25 mins away from Ann Arbor, is this beautiful park that is simply splendid for its amazing trail, fishing, cycling and kids play area. Do the paved trail to experience the park in its beauty. And if youre in a mood for some picnic, this is a superb spot for some good food, good company with a great view!
Great venue for a car show event. Better place to take the family for lots of outdoor activities.
The park itself is excellent with a nice paved trail and grassy side areas for you & your dog. However, this place suffers from excessive bugs. Notably, the Ticks. This place is totally inhabited and swamped with Ticks and fleas. Your dog will pick up Ticks if he/she goes into any grassy area, and especially the longer grass. So unfortunate that so many ticks and fleas make this place great to see from inside the car, but fails to be a place where I would choose to walk my dog or go for a run. This place could a gem with major cleanup. People you run into are great though!
Very beautiful Park!!! Lots of wild life and the huron river and the best of all is Discgolf. 2 courses to play Original and Montser 48 holes total.Bike path volley ball Basketball hiking Very clean park my favorite place hands down!!!!!
I haven’t really checked out the trails in the middle of the park yet but have walked the hike/bike loop many times (2.75-3 miles in length, if I remember right).
A great laid out course! Technical enough for the good players and challenging for the beginners. And great time all around!
2 fun and challenging disc golf courses that can be 24 holes each. Courses could use some tlc and maintenance. Concessions are seasonal at the office. Pay to play for disc golf on top of park entrance fee.
2 awesome 24 hole disc golf courses ... lots of ticks though
It was a beautiful day to celebrate mister Dan Russos life ♥ ❤ gone but never forgotten!!! Could not have been a more beautiful day , beautiful scenery and beautiful people. The fact that they still made everyone pay 10$ to get in though.. when there were well over 100 people is just ridiculous on Hudson mills part.... so just saying...
Lovely area. I wish it had more trails. Overall, very peaceful and beautiful.
This is an amazing park. This park has a great location, it’s close between Dexter and Pinckney. You have access to plenty of paved bike trails, a few different disc golf courses, and a beautiful river. I highly recommend checking out this place and enjoying a picnic here.
We love going to Hudson Mills! We mostly go for disc golfing but have also walked the nature trails and paved paths. They have a few great playground areas and put on a awesome 4th of July event!
Was a beautiful day! Not crowded, clean walkways & trails. Someone decorated a pretty Easter tree
Lots of good trails for biking and walking. They have bikes you can rent if you dont have your own too.
Beautiful place lots to explore.
Beautiful metro park. HUGE. Well maintained and managed. Tons of activities. Biking, hiking, disc golf, playgrounds, fishing, volleyball, baseball, soccer, and on and on. Lots of special events annually too.
The two Disc Golf courses are some of the best in the country. And are absolutely amazing to play on. It has a paved course all the way around the park for running biking and rollerblading. I also believe there is rental for kayaks on the Huron River. The fireworks rule. I could just keep going and going.
I pay good money to come play disc golf at this park.... So why is every other tee pad an icy death trap? What am I paying for if not course maintenance?
Its good place to enjoy with family and friends. Before going here you better take some playing stuff like ball, bat, frisbee or any other stuff.
I mostly go here for the 2.7 mile bike/walking path. But I also enjoy a nice round of bushwhacking, err, I mean disc golf. The Huron River here is a nice feature that pops up time and again throughout the park. The playgrounds are also nice for the younger kids.
The best park!! So many beautiful spots for photos.
Love this park, especially the trees in Spring time. There is an area where thousands of beautiful white dogwood flowers stand out from crispy green leaves of Spring trees and make you feel that you were in a fairyland.
One of my favorite parks. My family has been visiting Hudson Mills since I was young. We used to come every Sunday and my dad would play basketball with his friends. Lots of good memories! Now my husband and I have the yearly metropark pass and we bring our golden retriever here all the time! Tons of trails and the views of the river are nice.
Its a great disc golf course. We played the monster course. There are 2 separate 18 hole courses. Mostly long wooded holes, but a few open shots here and there. Quality elevation changes, and well maintained.
I loved this place because it is a beauty of a park, and so lovely, the trees are amazing and the sunset so beautiful!
Expansive and well taken care of park. Great playground, disk golf course and paved and unpaved trails. Dog friendly. $10 a day per car without Michigan recreation passport.
Great park to walk, run or bike. Easy trails with scenic river views. Has Disc golf course, picnic spots, and good kayaking. Park was taken care of and clean.
Great disc golf.course but need to cut the darn high glass so you can find your disc
Awesome facilities, disc golf beautiful bike trails, nice picnic areas and a river for fishing and kayaking or rafting
Beautiful place to explore, take pictures and plenty of parking!!
As close to a perfect park as you can get. Our last trip out we played disc golf for a couple hours, went to river and had lunch, then kayaked for a couple hours. There are lots of picnic tables, grills, and tons of benches to make lunch great. If you drop in kayak above rapids and walk under the bridge the water is smooth like ice and beautiful. We went upstream to the canoe campsite, really nice. The rapids are fun and easier to navigate than Delhi.
We used the Border to Border Trail to travel from Dexter to Hudson Mills. A beautiful 12 mile round trip that traverses meadows, rivers, and streams.
Great disc golf courses!! There are two separate 24 hole courses. Hudson Mills original Disc Golf Course (24 holes and practice hole& Hudson Mills Monster Disc Golf Course (24 Holes). The original has a good mix of open/wooded and left/right holes and many of them are shorter(beginner friendly). The monster course also has a good mix but the holes are definitely longer and geared towards more experienced players. Great conditions and maintainence! Long & Short cement pads, benches/tables, trash at all holes. Very nice! Very Clean! Highly recommend, worth the drive.
Very nice park with lots of places to walk and open areas to enjoy. Lots of nice events throughcout the year as well. Always go here to play disc golf and its never really too busy. Two 24 hole courses made for beginners with lots of woods though. Soccer fields, volleyball courts, playplace, basketball courts, great paved walking trails and non paved ones as well.
Staff is rude and it costs $10 for a day pass, but for $11 you can get into ALL state parks for the whole YEAR!!! If theyre going to be so expensive then they should at least offer half-day passes, since I came in at 4pm and was there for about an hour.
Great Staff, We were a little late for the Mothers day event. The staff accommodate us with assuring us not to worry and they would wait for us. The guided trail tour was also great. Thanks again for the fantastic Mothers day event. Thanks to all of you. The day was perfect.
Good for volleyball courts and kids play area..and nice scenery specially during falls
Hudson Mills is another great example of a metro park system that we are very lucky to have. The walking and bike paths are beautiful and very well maintained. The river is beautiful any time of year. Cross country skiing coming up along with all of the special events make the metro parks an extremely good value!
My kids love coming here. We mostly use the play structure, but weve also used the bike path as well. Gorgeous.
Loved the 2 huge 24-hole disc golf courses, but those can be crowded on the weekends. Beautiful trails (bring bug spray!and great facilities. Concessions and boat rentals available.
