Small, cheap, worth a trip to see. It has an interesting history that started around 200 BC. Bathrooms open at 11 am?

This is a nice place to see a historical site of Peru without traveling far out of Lima. I visited here during a weekday, and there were not many people here. It’s a small site that budgeting one hour should be more than enough to finish walking around and taking some good photos.

To walk on and amoungst ancient history like this is surreal, do yourself a favor and visit this breathtaking wonder when you visit Lima. You can take as little or as much time here as you need, our group was here for about an hour and a half and we felt like that was perfect for us, plus we visited the little museum by the entrance that has a few neat little excavated pieces from the general area. Informational plaques are scattered around the site in both Spanish and English. You are not allowed to take water with you because water is damaging to this site, being made of mud and all. A word of warning: Be VERY careful when walking up to the top of the pyramid and especially coming back down; the path is very sleek and one could slip very easily, and theres not much for handrails.

The history and heritage here just is mind blowing! Right in the heart of San Isidro sits an archeological gem. If in Miraflores, visiting here is a must!

Its a great place to walk around and take pictures. Its an actual pyramid. You have to take a guided tours and they explained that back in the day, people use to ride bikes here. You can learn about the history of it. There is a restaurant right next to it. You can eat and relax after the tour. The ocean is within walking distance from here.

OPEN. This Pre-Inca structure looks closed but there is a security man waiting behind a closed door that is more than willing to let you in if you ask. Had the entire place to myself & payed only 3 Soles due to being a student.

I was a bit disappointed to find out they basically reconstructed the whole thing. The museum was under maintenance construction when I visited, and the temporary one was only very small. However, the view of the surrounding city on top of the pyramid is quite surreal.

It is a nice small archaeological site that was preserved from the construction industry greediness who wanted to destroy all of it in order to raise a building

it was the first archeological remain to be studied professionally and build a museum with the artifacts found there; interesting that it is in the middle of a residential area which speaks well of the culture and education of the area

Although it lacks of a guide, it is a huge like pyramid structure, it is more amazing when you realize it is made with Adobe (a brick made of mud). It has a really tiny site museum, and the entrance fee is really cheap

The place is right in the Middle of the City and offers a very nice view of the city and of the huaca itself. It is also an interesting place to learn about funeral rituals and momification. The little museum that is next to it offers a quite amazing set of artifacts including a 1600 years mummy! It is reccommended to visit if you are passing by, it won´t take more than half an hour.

Reconstructed pyramid in the middle of Lima... You have to wonder if this ancient structure was any different a millennia ago, but this rebuilt archeological tower spans a very fashionable and upscale area, and is a delight to visit and climb up to see the surrounding city.

There arent any guided tours but the site is compact and well laid out. Unlike Huaca Pucllana this site is quite well preserved as the Incas used it after it was built by the Lima people. The attached museum has some lovely specimens. At only 5 soles its a bargin

Not as impressive as Huaca Pucllana, but still a nice place to see if you have extra time while in Lima. Its a nice oasis among all the new high rise buildings, and you can get a real un-spoiled look into the Huaca and learn about the time period in which it was built
