HuHot Mongolian Grill in Colorado Springs

Had a wonderful experience here for a work lunch. Such good food especially for the cheaper lunch price. All you can eat too?! Was so impressed by this place, especially their allergy friendly processes. You let them know, they give you a different colored bowl, you select your raw/uncooked food items off the buffet bar, and they will clean the grill for you before cooking your food to eliminate chance of contamination from other people’s meals!! Made it super easy for me to eat and enjoy with a peace of mind. (Although be aware that you might have limited cross contamination from the food bar when people fill their own bowls and drop items accidentally so keep that in mindAwesome military discount which was a peasant surprise. Super friendly servers. I’ll be coming back here, nowhere else can you build your own meal while eating out with LOTS of healthy veggies and have a whole experience!!

I’ve been wanting to go to this type of restaurant for quite a while .. it’s been 20 something years since we used to go in Vallejo CA to a Mongolian Grill type restaurant. Soooo good. Thanks to our new friends we dined here for lunch. No pics having so much fun I forgot to take some. Next time 🤞

Loved this place, been going for about 3 or 4 years. Just went today for a date with the wife, and the prices have jumped up a lot, and now we cant take any home with us. So I paid about $40 for 2 plates and didnt get to have any leftovers. Kinda disappointed as we like taking some home with us.*edit* would improve my rating if I can take home food. As of right now the cost of the food isnt worth it.

Update: I reached out to the email listed in the business response to discuss further and try to make things right. Its been 10 days with no response...Great idea, but the execution has started to go downhill. Arrived about an hour before close. One side of the ingredients buffet is shut down, no big deal, theyre not busy. Buffet is very messy both inside and out, lots of food mixed in where it shouldnt be, food on the floor, sauces spilled all over the sauce station. An employee was walking around cleaning but did not seem to be effective. The food was still fine, and the cooks were fun and friendly. About half an hour before close we were told it was last call for food, and were kind of rushed out. Door was promptly locked behind us even a few minutes before 8. This used to be a fun outing because it was well run and clean, but now its just a basic, unkempt, buffet.

Ridiculously low price for some pretty reasonably good food, with exactly what you want in it, cooked right in front of you, and its all-you-can-eat. Absolutely going to be a regular stop of mine.

Fun to pick and watch them cook things up. Best part is all the sauces and you can eat as much as you want!

Been going here since they opened this location. Never had a complaint.My advice to noobies, be GENEROUS with the sauces. Most of it is going to be cooked off in front of you. They say 5 or 6 ladles, I use like 10 per bowl.You can also bring two bowls up at a time. I use one for proteins, the other for noodles and extras, they can mix or separate them for you on request.

Got there at 7:20 was told restaurant shuts the grille down. Hours posted are to 8 pm. We drove across town to eat there. This is not acceptable service. With you close at 8 pm or you close at 7:20. Need to post it on Google so patrons know. We Will NEVER be back!!!

Sat there for 20 minutes and didnt get any service. There were only 7 families total in the dining area. Us and another family left due to this.Carpet and furniture are dated, greasy, and sticky. Overheard the waiter state he did not know what was in a desert. This is ServSafe 101. If you dont know, ask.Terrible experience

We loved this place but the past few times it seemed to be a let down. The buffet was really stocked, and they had one poor lady running back and forth Trying to restock while the line was 20 people deep. We love it here and hope that got worked out.

These guys know Mongolian Grill! Thousands of combinations do they have what you want. The staff love what they do and it shows. Thanks to management for seating us quickly. Two thumbs up👍👍

The only reason I give this place a 1 star is because our waiter Reese was great, but everything else...NO. Not many people in to eat, but there was still trash on the floor and messy tables being ignored. The buffet was a mess, and all the meats where touching each other, and the cook was horrible. Our food was undercooked and I ended up getting sick for 2 days cause of it.I strongly advise to stay away from this place till they do some serious changes, but then again that is just my experience and opinion.

HuHot Mongolian Grill is not just an all you can eat stir-fry style restaurant, but also a show! You grab a bowl and choose your meats, veggies and sauces then bring it to the chefs who then throw it on the large hot grill and cook it all right in front of you! Go back as many times as you want to try different combinations!

The variety of options was awesome but Im not used to this type of restaurant being so expensive. I was expecting around $13-15 per person but it was closer to $25 👎

This is my favorite restaurant in Colorado Springs. My husband and I come every time we visit the city. The chefs are great at their job but also very entertaining with lots of food puns. I never order any extras because I am always completely stuffed after one or two trips.

My kids love going to HuHot but think we’ll make out a change to our regular weekly visits. My tween stopped to ask if this was normal. Quick fix? Yes. But would rather go where I don’t have to examine food that was cooked to verify it’s edible.

Ive been here three times and on the last visit I took my visiting parents. I believe the tofu, potatoes, and sausage are to thick to be cooked in the short time they spend on the grill. If you keep this in mind while building your bowl it comes out ok if you hunt the smaller pieces. The sauces you add dont seem to really stick with the food for some reason and thicker pieces get burned on one side while untouched on the other.

Austin was an incredible server! I love that they accommodate to those with food allergies like me. The food was so tasty and the service was wonderful. We will probably go again!

Food was excellent, my server was friendly and attentive. It was my 1st time here and I will be looking for a huhot near my house in Texas. The really hot sauce was awesome.

Always a nice time, the selection is wonderful and the sauce guide is extremely helpful. Bring some cash to tip your cooks, they deserve it.

I love coming here with a large group because they usually have one of the party rooms open and we can just all grab a bowl, get what we want, have it fried up with little to no wait and then sit down to eat. Versus waiting an hour to get in and then an hour to get all of our food orders at other sit down restaurants.

I dont typically write reviews on restaurants, but my goodness!!! The service is just superb. I am celiac, so therefore I cannot have gluten. This makes it difficult to go out, and many times I am greeted with an uncomfortable attitude when I tell a waiter/waitress. Every single staff member is clearly trained on the procedures for those with food allergies or restrictions. Its so so comforting to see them really CLEAN the grill for you! I am so beyond grateful for the efforts of the staff members. The only thing I suggest is to be careful around the noodles and rice (you can order a separate order of rice), since it is a self serve buffet style, there is a high chance of cross-contamination in that area. Thank you!!

Amazing staff and amazing food as per usual! Hu Hot is our favorite date night hang out. Connor, Aaron, and Britney made us feel welcome and kept the restaurant tidy and clean. Cant wait to visit our favorite place again!

It’s been years since I have eaten at a HuHot Mongolian Grill, but this weekend decided to try this location. I was pleasantly surprised with the food and service. The Mongolian vegetable, carbohydrate and meat options allowed for endless dish and flavor options. The cooks and servers were very accommodating and helpful. This was a good dining experience, I would visit this restaurant again.

Weve been here a few times and always really enjoy it. Its easy and quick building your own meals, doesnt take long to cook and its fun watching the cooks work. Even though Im putting together the meal/flavors myself, I dont recall ever having a bad experience (and if I really didnt like a bowl, I could always just start over). First time going after the pandemic and the experience is the same, mostly because they cook your food AFTER you pick it from the buffet, so youre not as worried about germs.

Good as always, if you dont like what you ate here, its your own fault.

Amazing variety of choices of ingredients - very friendly waiters and grillers - clean and well-established. Nothing bad about this restaurant can be said. Every single experience Ive had here has been a positive one, and the food is reasonably cheap for how absolutely delicious it is.

My first impression was what a hot mess!! But choosing my own ingredients, in a small bowl, from a very messy food station and adding lots of sauces, like our waitress advised, then having it cooked, chopped, thrown around by some very hard working, entertaining guys etc...I sat down to eat my little portion and was pleasantly surprised!! Wow .. the flavors were amazing. I definitely had to go back for a second round, which absolutely filled me!!Its all you can eat and trust me I wanted to go back again but that was very filling. It was a very crowded place and I can see why but we talked to our waitress and come to find out it was Tuesday-kids eat free, so that explained a lot.We will be back. Totally recommend 😊👍

Super friendly staff and a tasty meal at a great value. Stopped by for dinner an hour before closing, no problem. All the food was super fresh and the selections were awesome. Everything is all you can eat and we felt zero pressure. The staff was so accommodating. They also offer a very generous military/veterans discount!!

Great, tasty food with a great variety of foods and sauces to add to your bowl. All you can eat style lets you try different items and sauce flavors. It was cool to see them cooking your food while youre waiting and didnt take long. The strawberry cheesecake was also yummy.

The decor is a little dated, but the staff is amazing! Food is good and fresh. There are sauces for days too. It is a must to get at least 5 scoops to get max flavor. We will be back.

This is my first time at this restaurant, and I felt really comfortable from the beginning! Ever Was so nice and friendly and Niles the cook was absolutely amazing! He talked with you and made sure it was exactly how you’d like it before he took it off! Recommend some toppings that he like, and just makes you feel comfortable and welcomed!! Food is fresh and great variety of veggies and meats. Put your bowl together along with your choice of a bajillion sauces and watch them Hibachi fry it up for you. Delicious and filling!The seating is nice and large parties can reserve back room. Great food and low noise so you can talk and hear each other.One of my favorite yummy spots.

What a fun place to go. Build your own meal with meats and veggies and then cooked on a big grill in front of you. They have appetizers and desserts that are xtra. Enjoy

Amazing food. I havent had Mongolian BBQ style food but once since COVID began. It was a good change compared to what I normally eat.

Good place to go for family dinner/lunch. We came here when the franchise first opened up like 12-13 years ago. Still the same, with a few different side options. There was no raw shrimp, which would have made it so much better! Special thanks to the chef’s!

HuHots always a good place to go. The food is always cooked fresh right in front of you. And its usually not too crowded. If you havent tried it its a must.

Amazing food. All you can eat too. I was impressed with the price too. The Gluten Free lava cake was so delicious! If you want good food for good prices this is the place. The staff are wonderful too. Just a great all around experience.

Ordered online this morning just after they opened. We ordered two grill meals specifically without meat, only tofu. Found multiple pieces of meat in our meals, along with some other fragments of things that we didnt order. Also, the meal was quite dry so I dont think they used the correct amount of sauce.We generally have good experiences at HuHot but was very disappointed this time.

This is my wifes and my favorite restaurant! We have been going here for years! I am gluten free, and they are one of the best of the best when it comes to mitigating allergies. The line is labeled with what foods have allergies. When they cook your food, they will clean off a section of grill and cordon off that section so only your food is cooked in there. They even use seperate spatulas so theres no cross-contamination! Best part, theyve done this for as long as weve been going here!LOVE THIS PLACE!!!

I enjoyed the experience of the selection of different noodles, vegetables and sauces offered.You choose weather to follow a recipe or create your own.You are able to view your food as it is being cooked on the grill or just order from the menu.

Well, I enjoy all HuHots. This one is nice and clean. The staff is what makes it though, they do a fire thing for our 7yo and make him feel special. They also clean and refresh beverages pretty quick.

We came here for Justins bday. The food was delicious.... Very good variety of selection. But the very best part of our experience was the customer service. The manager on duty and our server were outstanding despite them being very busy. Completely satisfied.

GM Anthony, server Aaron and line cook John are three of the most impressive individuals my wife and I have encountered at a buffet. We tried this restaurant in Old town, Fort Collins and the staff was tragically unpleasant. This staff on Constitution in Colorado springs is amazing. Thank you all for what you do.

Best Mongolian BBQ in the area. Good service and clean. Lots of sauces for selection and recipes posted. The servers spoke to my kids and they really enjoyed it.
