As a street photographers I always like a place where you will find different frame, different story, different subject in a single location. This is crowded area where I always find new story. I get a plenty of colorful flowers, Ganga ghat and Howrah Bridge as a subject or background in this place. So according to me this is a prime location for a photographer.

This bridge serves as the gateway of Kolkata connecting it to the Howrah Railway station which is one of the five intercity train terminus station serving Howrah & Kolkata. Kolkata Port Trust is vested with the maintenance of the bridge. On 24th June 2005 a private cargo vessel MV Mani while trying to pass under the bridge had its funnel stuck underneath for 3-4 hrs causing damage worth about 15 millions. It takes a load of 1,50,000 pedestrians & 100,000 vehicles per day.
