Unassuming looking place on the outside with a lovely outdoor seating area ( much nicer than the indoor seating which looked a little plain/drab)Very much enjoyed the beer, the stout in particular was excellent.The food was good. Prices arent cheap but arent over the top either, about what you would expect at a higher end pub.My one suggestion would be that the Asian chicken salad should maybe be made with thigh rather than breast pieces as the chicken breast was rather dry.Calamari was very tasty.

Service was friendly and good. Lots of families. Food is fairly expensive and is reasonable. The beer is very good, really enjoyed our stout.

Had a great Lunch with my family and enjoyed a beer and a couple of Stouts. Really enjoyed everything and recommend it as a venue.

Absolutely heavenly food. Ordered Spicy chicken and bacon Mac & cheese. Was sooooo damn good!!!I feel like coming down all the way from Melbourne just to have that again and again.Staff were really friendly. The place feels very warm and cosy. If its a family run place, it has the exact vibe for that☺️5-6 parking spaces right outside the restaurant.

Pleasant surprise finding this brew house.Playlist was on point, staff were very friendly and the food was tasty and well portioned.Only suggestion would be, to have a cheat sheet on hand that lists how many standard drinks each brew equates to per glass size in order to make selections easier for the both staff and designated driver.

The staff were more focused on playing the travia and sitting behind the bar talking then taking anyones order then when they finally took some orders you then had to wait over half an hours for your food. It wasnt a busy night there was barely anyone there. Will not recommend or return to. An absolute joke and waste of time.

We had a large family birthday lunch at Howler on the weekend and cannot be happier - the service and food were both fantastic and the lead up of organising menu and other details was made easy with quick and helpful responses, thanks to Amanda and the Howler team.

Brilliant beer, excellent food menu and right across the road from a playground so your little ones can wear themselves out.

Ordered a $110 slab of beer online, turned up 4 months later most cans split, the rest tasted off as its been in so many different temperatures. Brewery said bad luck it left here ok. Made a complaint, was promised a replacement 3 months ago, many emails sent - no reply. Horrible service.

Great value food, best chips in town and a fantastic trivia night. Get on down!

Food is always delicious and staff are friendly. Happy to have this as a local option. Loved the Parma Sandwich special on the weekend and the garlic bread is a must have.

Pre booked table for 20 to celebrate my sons 21st meals selections were given a week priorvery disappointing with the quality of the food that came outstaff interaction over the night didnt happen, normally would give a second chance but not this time

Went for dinner yesterday as we saw the place had great reviews. Wouldn’t go back. Service was horrible. We were sat down with no menus, had to find someone with menus. Majority of the food on the menu wasn’t available including steaks and burgers. Waited ages for the food which arrived. Chips were cold and the chicken was tasteless and hard. Had to ask find someone again to ask for cutlery. I understand it’s the long weekend but everything that could not be nice about a restaurant (service, foodwas experienced here.Especially being a long weekend to not have majority of the food available on the menu was pretty bad

Had a mothers day late dinner booked in, Wow another great brewery discovery, food was fantastic excellence flavours in hand crafted beers, a service with a smile well done girls.. thank you..Another mothers day once again today booked in for 2022 and still the greatest place to come and and enjoy a meal and the best home brewerd beer.

First time attending venue.Excellent dinner and desert.Service was fantastic.Portions were spot on, value for money, we will be back!

Great drinks and Great mealsThe place is pretty small so booking is advisableMeals are well priced and were delicious. The calamari was cooked fantastic, the beef burger tasted amazing.... And the chips were perfect - Crunchy outside soft inside.

Food was great, happily supplied an extra plate to share a meal between the two kids. Cola Sour was enjoyable.

Great beers especially the stout. Didnt order food but I definitely felt like I was missing out every time someones order came out.Two notes and they relate to wait staff.I get that you may have new staff on post covid and lockdowns. Please continue to teach them about the beers you brew and serve. The knowledge appears to be there but not quite confident about it yet.Secondly listening to tiktok songs from the front bar radio as ambient music is not what Im looking for in a brewery vibe. Maybe have some set play lists itll definitely bring things up to a five star with those two things looked at.That being said. Ill definitely come back for food and that stout.

Excellent service and the menu was pretty impressive! Our meals were yummy and the beers tasty! Great place to stop on our way home to Melbourne from the Prom!

Being a local I hate to leave a bad review but the platter for 2 was disappointing the chicken had a real bad taste about it like itd been cooked earlier and reheated or was no good to begin with. And the beers are trash, only 1 I remotely liked was a middy 🤣 last time I steer away from the palace hotel !

Had a great night tonight at Howlers (turns out Thursday night is trivia night...surprise!!). Meals were awesome, massive serves and all delicious, very reasonably priced. The boys very much enjoyed the beers and the atmosphere was great. We werent made to feel uncomfortable having the kids there either which is always great. Will definitely be back 👍

My husband and I just had lunch here and all I can say is WOW! The service is superb. It was very busy when we arrived with our dog, and there wasnt any tables available in the shade. The manager was able to unwind the shade attached to the building and move us. The food is fantastic, and the beers are delicious. I would absolutely come here again.

Yeah, this place is pretty cool. Lots of different types of beers to try, go for the paddle experience to get through them all. You can buy cans to take home but they dont always have the full variety available. They had some live music too on the Sunday we were there. Kids menu is good value and standard fare, and the adult meals were your typical pub style grub. Inside and outside dining areas, a little boho in style, good for lazing about while listening to the band.

The meals were picture-perfect! They were huge and delicious! Very reasonable prices given the size of the meals. The staff were so helpful, pleasant and interacted with our group in a friendly and relaxed manner. We shall return!

5/5 for everything! The food and beer were good quality and interesting variety. The staff were really nice and helpful. I have an allergy and the staff and chef went beyond what I usually experience. Highly recommend a visit.

Food was fantastic. Kids meals were well portioned. Adult burgers were delish, beers were yum and quite surprising with lots of flavour. It was a shame it poured with rain cause the beer garden looked great to sit outside in.

Great dining nook in a country setup and a fantastic recovery of the English Scottish & Australian Bank heritage building in Lang Lang, you cannot miss it.They also extended their outdoor deck with an in-house brewery producing some amazing Hoppy IPA and Pale Ale.

Im not a beer guy and enjoyed the selection a lot, it is a nice place and service is great. portions are really big and food is tasty. burger patties are flavorful and made in house.the only issue I had was that they could not split an order. I dont think its a deal breaker but if you are not that hungry better to ask for a container

Fantastic spot to stop. Really tasty food and the Pale Ale was up there with the best Ive ever had. Very laid back, indoor and outdoor seating, lovely staff and dog friendly. Nothing bad to say.

What an amazing destination. A gorgeous ex bank building politely positioned along a small towns busy street. Entering the building, I was treated to a polite greeting from the eager staff, and then promptly shown to our outdoor seating arrangement. Well situated with nearby facilities, we were soon asked what bevvies we would like. Less than five minutes later we were again graced by our server, who promptly delivered our order correctly and politely. I could happily go on, but in short, do yourself a favour and please visit this little FIERCELY INDEPENDENT brewery that is always hungry for your support.

A breath of fresh air in this small community.A vast range of beers on tap.Take away beers are also available.They do meals, but I didnt see a menu.I believe there website has the menu.This was the old bank building from bygone times, the vault in still in place opposite the bar.

Friendly family atmosphere with inside and outside seating available. Wheelchair friendly. Good food menu selection. The place is almost full inside and everyone looks like they are enjoying themselves.

Great parma because it actually had sauce which many miss out on. Right amount of chips and friendly service. Definitely a visit. Support independent breweries.

Howler Brewing Company is a beautiful place for an afternoon lunch. The food and service was excellent, and the selection of beers they have on tap was varied and comprehensive.Im a bland kinda bloke, so I tried their Beer beer ("its a beer"and their IPA and really enjoyed them. My wife had a pint of their sour beer and loved it.Its a fantastic, growing operation and is a real credit to Lang Lang.

Best local food and beer in Lang Lang. Always a pleasure going to Howler. Nice fresh produce and house made beers. The howler beer is my choice everytime. Always met with happy go lucky people.

My family and I stopped past here on the weekend and had the burger, chips and a beer. Everything was awesome. The food was fantastic, the beer was great and the service was exceptional. They thanked us for coming, asked what kind of beer we liked and assisted us in finding something to suit our tastes and then sincerely thanked us for our custom. Well definitely be back.

What a great place to enjoy a genuine local craft beer! Its hard to decide whats better though as they also offer an amazing selection of delicious food. If youre driving through South East Gippsland Id highly recommend stopping in. Great friendly staff as well.
