The chicken souvlaki sandwich was great. A little messy, but great.

Loved the pizza I ordered and the onion rings on the side. Yummy 😁

I ordered a blue cheese burger. Good burger but I think it needed more blue cheese, I couldnt see any and I also couldnt taste much. Aaliyah was our server, she was very nice, polite and attentive.

This House of Pizza is one of my "Go To" places when I go to Orangeburg. They have pizza, sandwiches and other items on their menu. Delicious food and good service.

They always exceed my expectations of being HORRIBLE! I stopped going there. Every so often I give them another chance thinking things would be different. Absolutely not! Dont waste your time going to Sims St. House of Pizza. The service will never be good and your food will never be right. Go the Original House of Pizza on John C!!!

Food is average, but the wait time is terrible. Plus didn’t get all the items we ordered. It took 1 hour and 8 minutes for 2 plates of food.

Oh. My. Gosh! The food is sooooo good. The service is exceptional. Hats off to Gail, my server. 29 years here. I had the liver and onions with sautéed veggies. Don’t let the name mislead you. They have a wide range of food selections. Something for everyone. Must visit destination.

Fried mushrooms and onion rings were the worst Ive ever had, dirty gresse and were not fresh but frozen. Pizza was ok but not worth going back.

Go-to for a quick dinner while in town seeing the in-laws. They have the best pizza

My potato was under cooked. My broccoli was pretty much raw!!! My wings had way more pepper than lemon. My moms pizza had a cheese shortage. We were overall so disappointed!!!

Awful, once again! I dont know why I keep giving this restaurant chance after chance. They told me over the phone that my small order would take an hour. So my husband goes to pick it up an hour later and an employee told him its not their fault if its cold. No one even bothered to call and say your order is ready. And everytime I request the sub extra toasted, they dont fulfill my request. The original House of Pizza would never mess my order up like this, so Ill just have to stick with them!

Food is great but your lunch service is really slow…. Not a place for lunch!

Ive only eaten here one other time and not sure I will again. Our pizza was extremely salty and soggy, restaurant staff rude and restaurant was pretty dirty

Their Greek chicken sucks. It was heavy coated with herb/spices way too much... Just doesnt taste like Greek chicken Ive eaten in other similar restaurants.

I go to the barrel room which is a part of the house of pizza. Food has always been spot on and the service is as well. Friendly atmosphere.

My 2 stars are for service only, the food was good. I came to pick up a call in order on May 27 at 2:40, there were approximately 6 people behind the counter. I stood behind the tables that were station there for a period of time and received no help as they continued to talk and chat with each other. Finally I had to approach the register an ask for help. Next time Ill go to the Original House Of Pizza where the service is excellent.

Pizza was good even though I only got one of two toppings

Our server was great! I dont remember his name but he was awesome! Everyone else loved the pizza and stuff but the Alfredo was terrible. Taste like is came out a jar 😬 $16 for Prego Alfredo sauce and noodles.

The place wasnt crowded, fast and courtesy service always with a smile. The price, a little expensive but with todays cost, overall all was well. By the way; the food was great.

Staff is amazing and the restaurant is very nice and clean. But the pizza is not amazing, its just fine.

Service was a little slow but our waitress was very nice. They have alot of carry out orders so pretty sure thats why we had to wait so long for our food.Wasnt a big fan of the sampler appetizers, it wasnt cold but wasnt hot. Very greasy. Wont get that again. I got the Greek gyro platter.. It was very good. Cant wait to go back and try other things.

They are usually very slow. Ive never walked in and got greeted right away. There is a culture of bias at this restaurant. Nobody there seems genuine at any point during any visit Ive made there. They have a bar called The Barrel Room but I wouldnt be able to speak on that since Ive never made it pass the dining area without an issue.

Only place we could find to dine in on Sunday afternoon that didnt have a long wait.The service was good and the sandwich were OK.

I use to love coming to this House of Pizza but it seems like the food has gone down a lot. The food always tastes as if it’s been out for a while after cooking and reheating. I was really going for the baked chicken but it seems like they do it on random Wednesdays now.

Ridiculously managed. Food is great but customer service is an absolute mess. The managers excuse every time is "I apologize, my staff is young students". The community is not pleased with services. Curbside is a joke. I was waiting on curbside with other customers and no one came outside for curbside. After 15 minutes, many of us went inside and saw our orders sitting on the tables. When asked about our orders, the "student" says OH, were not doing curbside. Were too busy" We were very upset. The couple next to me went off about why no one say something when we placed our orders. The managers excuse was " I apologize, she didnt tell yall?" I look at her and shook my head and walked off because I think this business could thrive so much if they would replace the managers and get someone in there who would put all " young students " on the same shifts and allow them to run usual customers off like Im running. This has happened more than 3 visits. They should at least mix the workers with veterans so the youngsters can learn the right way to handle customer service. The kids dont even know how to address customers needs such as if a customer need extras or has a compliant. They just walk off. I am a certified food critic and I must say...this is not good for a business with awesome food like this one. I hope corporate view my post because changes need to be made.

My daughter and I shared a super sub! The "super" was the definitive description! It was delicious! Thanks, House of Pizza, for providing great food!

We enjoyed our server ..and our pizza , salad,and adult beverages....its a great restaurant...will experience the Barrel House ..next visit ...Oburg Strong ... YEAH 👍

The service was ok but the food needs help. The garlic bread was still frozen in the center. The pasta was almost soup it was so watery and my sons corn dog from the kids menu was still frozen when we went to cut it up for him.

One of the worst so far. Asked for extra sauce and it was so thin I think they just painted it on the pizza. Crust was mushy and the peppers were not cooked very well. Asked for sausage peppers and onions. Wish there was some meat on there. Never again. I’ll by frozen first

Food was great. Only problem i had was our waitress Gail used her bare hands to put our left over pizza in the box. She should have let one of us do it or put a glove on.

Nothing to write home about. Alot of cars in the parking lot so I suppose business is good. The pizza crust was decent. The toppings were ok, but the sauce was not the best. Almost $20 for a small pizza & a medium drink. Wont go back.

Love the food here. Havent had anything that I didnt enjoy completely. My last visit, we finally decided to try the pizza and was not disappointed. The bread was perfect and had the perfect balance of crisp and fluffy that you dont get at most places. My only complaint is that there wasnt enough bacon. (Theres never an amount of bacon that reaches the "Too Much" level. HahaHowever, instead of bacon bits/crumbles, the had actual bacon pieces which the family thoroughly loved. Especially my 7-year-old who tried to sneak a couple pieces of mine. Will definitely be back again.

Very cool place. We came on trivia night but got there a little late. Pizza had plenty of toppings. But the dough was on the raw side in the center. I do like the dough a little rare. But this was raw

Horrible service. Called in an order (2 pizzas and wingsand was told it would be 30 mins. Arrived 35 minutes later and the food was not ready. People arrived after us, ordered, and left before our food even came out. After an hour of waiting, the food finally came out and the pizzas were cold. Very disappointed in the service and quality of the food, especially given the price point.

Being a New Yorker I didnt expect such a paper thin crust with a dried cheese type covering. I didnt recognize where the pepperoni and sausage were located. I can deal with the cut but barely cheese and sauce is a no for me.

This review does not pertain to anything besides the attitude that was given to us over the phone. It is not a reflection of cooks or wait service, simply the lack of manners that was shown. There was a misunderstanding with an online ordering app and instead of taking the time to simply listen to what was being asked, the woman who answered was condescending and patronizing.We explained that money was taken from the account and the display said the order was processed and this restaurants location was on the screen. She told us she probably didnt receive the order, because they did not use that service. We explained that we had been waiting an hour for food to be delivered and even though she insisted that it wasnt possible because it was not the service they use we asked if she could check the orders she had just to make sure. At this request she started to speak SLOWLY and EXAGGERATED, elongating her words, as if to express that we were ignorant for not understanding that their store was not associated with the app that we were using. My friend told her she understood, but asked her if she still could check given what we saw on our end. We gave her a specific dollar amount (what they said the total was and total with delivery fees and tax)Food ordering technology is fickle and there are several ways that she, working at the restaurant could have been correct, and we still not understand the discrepancy. I eat at this location for lunch often and I know that the barrel room is the name of the bar attached to this house of pizza and it was certainly what I was looking at on the screen. Now why the service said we could receive deliveries from this location but the restaurant not be associated with it, is still a mystery.While the woman on the phone did check, instead of being patient she did not stop her condescension. Just because you say "have a nice weekend" after youre disrespectful, it does not erase what you said prior. This woman was needlessly defensive and unsympathetic.

My wife and I use to come here before covid hit and we loved it. But now the food quality has dropped off. Been here twice and unfortunately if things dont change we wont be back. We where here Saturday the 26th of June ordered wings and fries... the wings were horrible, over cooked and extremely small.. they must have came from baby chickens, and we had to send the fries back cause they were cold 🥶.. you guys need to do better

All in all; not bad. Good customer service. Decent food. Could have been better but not bad or gross. My only issue was that my pizza was cut into squares which made it very messy. Good portions at not horrible pricing. I recommend. Not bad at all.

They have a second restaurant on the outside which is more of a bar atmosphere, very nice with TVs, all the food order from there is from the House of Pizza. We had chicken wings and a few drinks and it was very pleasant. Very great customer service from the waitresses

The worst customer service Ive ever encountered, full stop. Placed an order on the website for delivery. I called after the promised delivery time and it hadnt left the restaurant. I called repeatedly 30 minutes later and when I got through, I was told it had left and Id get a call right back after checking with the driver. Spoiler alert, I received no callback.Listen, the pizza was good. Probably even really good. However, the experience will keep me from ever ordering from here again.

Normally food is good. Last 3 visits we received over fried wings. We made it a point to request light fried wongs from server. Cooks may think everyone likes over fried wings. Pizza crust was under cooked. Toppings were burnt to a crisp. Bar area has no consistent bar Tender who actually knows how to make drinks. The past several visits we were served "Practiced / On the job training" drinks. Paid premium price for watered down drinks. Wont be spending any fare there for a while. Rather drive to Columbia.

I had a wonderful time at trivia night. The host was quite playful and welcoming. Unfortunately the "Green beans" beat me in trivia (cheated thats my story and Im sticking to it😂😂😂actually Im just being a sore loser.Anyways my waitress was new but AWESOME I got all my food in a very timely manner and was well taken care of. The backroom area had great ambience and was quite cozy. I would definitely return.🤗

As we walked in we were really impressed with the decor and atmosphere. Ordered a large pizza to go and two drink specials while we waited. When it came time to pay was charged regular price for drinks which were plainly shown on board when you walk in. Waitress said bill was correct and had to argue that drinks were half price. Didnt realize till we left and half done with pizza that it was a medium and not a large 16 in that we paid for. Not recommended.

The food is Delicious, I would recommend the all-meat pizza and the Steak and Cheese sub, FYI - every time I ask for extra mayo they act a look funny about giving me extra mayo, they are a little skimpy on giving out condiments especially mayonnaise/mayo.

The restaurant is rather clean, spacious and inviting. The sister restaurant, "original house of pizza" is not as clean as this place, but they have similar items between both menus. We came during lunchtime, and had a pizza and a stromboli. The quality of the food was very good, and was served relatively quickly. We had about a 10 minute wait. While you wait, you can take advantage of the captains wafers and their special sauce, which is great.
