Absolutely delicious! We are from Auckland and found this place by happy accident. Later on we found out our friends travel from Pyes Pa to here regularly as they also think this place is the best. Highly recommended

Usually great.Today could bite into the Naan bread, the medium spice selection was very hot 🔥 and the Malai Kofta were dry and tssteless while the sauce was hot.

good food, but phone your order in, dont order online; its a 3rd-party service and they add credit card AND delivery charges AFTER you have authorised the credit card amount (they normally deliver free); not impressed.

I dont ever really write reviews, but these guys deserve it. In my opinion, House of India make probably the best takeaway curry Ive had anywhere. Its easily on par with anything you can get on Londons Brick Lane. The Roti and Naan is light and fluffy, the curries are flavoursome and the meat incredibly tender.

House of India makes the most reliably delicious curries! Such excellent value for money and really good portion sizes. The staff are so lovely and so happy to see them re opening after lockdown!

Great food but some uber drivers arent good for your rep. Weird how you cannot contact the driver once they put delivered, even when theyve been waiting at a different address and havent called 😐. Uber refunded and will try you soon.

We have ordered twice off Uber eats, first time they delivered me an incomplete order and said I would have to wait another 20 minutes to receive the rest (which I declined as it was late). The second time we received the entirely wrong order and when we contacted them they refused to send us the correct order unlesss we pay again in full and said to take it up with uber eats. Super disappointed as we love the food but the customer service was shocking.

Extremely friendly staff and wonderful food. Went in one night without a booking and the place was full, they brought a table from our the back and made us feel extremely welcome. Have been here many times and will continue to go. Food is always great and the atmosphere is very different from what you usually get in Tauranga.

Not the most authentic Indian cuisine youd expect, chicken was slightly burnt and the mango sauce was way too sweet!

I have tried few different restaurant while my stay in Tauranga for few weeks but none of the other places were able to provide the real flavours and taste. I highly recommend to visit House of India and try the food as this is better than any other place in Tauranga for people who really want to taste the really Indian flavours and nice food. 10/10, 5 Strat

Most amazing food. Staff were great. We booked on the day for 12 people and they were very happy to help us. The meals sizing was perfect for both the kids and adults. And were able to accommodate those with food allergies.
