House by the lake in Severobaykal'sk

Day 3 culminated with a steaming bowl of borscht and sushi. Raoul, our driver has left us, says he’s joining the Navy. Also said his real name is Grigori. Turns out the 20 minutes at the Olkhon ferry, our boy was en flagrante’ delecto w/ a girl known as ‘Tinker Bell’. Don’t know how to operate a stick shift, but we will marshal on! Gremyatchinsk awaits the road warriors.

Not good. Rooms are small but acceptable. They advertised there would be a sleepingcouch but its not even close to that. No hot water!! And the owners are really loud early in the morning. Id like to sleep more than till 0700 oclock. Location also not ideal. Its kind off close to lake Baikal, but nothing else. No bar, restaurant or supermarket nearby.I wouldnt recommend a stay here
