An amazing place to stay! Anton and his wife (the ownersare very sweet and helpful, always waiting with a big smile and good energy. The house is quite big, very close to the city center and clean. I think is a great option.

The owners are amazing and their son is a guide and the daughter can do Arabic lessons! This hostel was incredibly affordable for how clean and nice it was, and just a short walk from the town square! I wish I had more nights to spend here.

There is no hostel like this, truly a house of peace. Best place to stay in Bethlehem, also the cheapest. Family is very kind and loving, and very supportive. They will treat you like youre a part of the family. God bless this house and family!

Can’t recommend this place enough because of the hosts. They really are the kindest people and invite you in as one of their own. I have never experienced that level of hospitality in a hostel. Also with their son they will help you go wherever you want to go in the West Bank of Palestine. Highly recommend!

Clean place and near to church of nativity.

This Hostel is like no other Ive been to when arrived I was greeted like an extra family member invited to sit at the table with the owner Daniel, He then went on to ask his mother to fetch me some tea all before I even paid. Great location to reach The Church of the Nativity walking . Such a friendly place and very cheap to. It served its purpose. As I left the owners parents prayed for my safe trip back into Jerusalem, I was really touched. Beautiful people.

Daniel welcomed me to his hostel and I did feel at home at the House of Peace, Bethlehem.The house is very peaceful and very clean. It is central to Manger Square and all amenities in Bethlehem. I will return to the House of Peace. The people were nice with only good intentions.I came barefoot, which I think made people somewhat uncomfortable, but they still accepted me.When I came, I was very tired from the day and was ready to be shown to my bed, though the hosts were wanting to have conversation. A wonderful place for if you want to commune with the hostsThey saw I was strugglingWith lack of resources, and offered me clean clothes and wonderful tea. nice people but they seemed very unsettled by my presence, which is completely understandable 🙂

I come to Bethlehem every year, and I always stay at House of Peace. The accommodations are simple and exactly what I need. The Aquleh family takes such good care of us, helping us to find taxis, restaurants and more!You have to stay here!

I think for that price its okay. It was a bit confusing to check in but we handled it.It was clean and the hosts were really kind.

Wonderful hostel, only stayed for a night but they really make you feel like youre at home effortlessly. The couple that runs the hostel is very kind and accommodating!The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are quite clean, and the shared spaces are tranquil. There is also free WiFi! Its quite fast as well.The location of the hostel brings about an air of peace and security and made my stay in Palestine all the more wholesome and welcoming.An accurate representation for the strong warmth that Bethlehem will bring you.

El lugar súper limpio, super tranquilo y lo mejor son los propietarios; una familia muy muy muy acogedora. Tuve problemas de salud y me ayudaron y acompañaron en todo momento; muy muy contenta.

Lovely hostel

I really enjoyed my stay in a private room. I was sick a couple days and Elan nursed me back to health with special teas and soups. Tha Aqlehs are a very nice family. The bed was large and comfortable. You must buy bottled water as the public water is not recommended for consumption--not a problem. I found them very kind and helpful. Their hostel is clean, well maintained and within 7 minutes of Bethlehem Square and Bus 231 to Damascus Gate, JLM and for only 8 shekles. Great deal.

House of Peace hostel will be a great place to stay if you visit Bethlehem. It is very central- less than 10 min walk from the Nativity Church and 5 min walk to downtown. There are private rooms and dormitories with shared kitchen and bathroom facilities. The best thing is the view from the terrace and roof as well the owners are very welcoming and will take good care of you.

Anton and his wife are the sweetest persons in Bethlehem. We felt very welcome there. Its like you stay at your grandparents house. By the way, nice large rooms and very clean.

Im visiting from California and this place is very inexpensive and a great experience! I will definitely be coming back here one day!The showers are freezing, though.
