Very cozy family running Portuguese restaurant, Nibbles are unique, the chicken is juicy and there’s a grocery store full of Portuguese products. Worth it

The food is excellent!Really tasty!

Wow, we were not disappointed.Its a family run small restaurant with 6 tables, they also offer delivery services as well. The food was just out of this world; we had few starters and main courses and shared them. My favourite was the rice, so simple but so tasty and the whole chicken, juicy, well marinated. Thank you to our host Miguel, it was such a lovely evening. There is also a little shop, in the back room. We will definitely be back there again very

Your Portugese home-from-home. The owners, the staff, the food and the wine are exceptional. You will struggle to find a better place in MK. And theyve have Super Bock on tap... Say no more.

The best chicken around our area! Amazing service with loads of Portuguese and other Mediterranean products. Also has a small shop where you can buy more of those products to take home and have a bit of that Portuguese food joy!

The menu may appear small/simple but this leads to a few things done very well.... this place is AWESOME!Unlike many other places, the owners pictures on the Google listing are very representative of what served, you just wont appreciate the flavours from them.Very welcoming. Clearly busy, mid-week it appeared we were lucky to get a table without booking. Weekend, booking is a MUST.Our disappointment... Well, we should have visited sooner, I guess we can make up for that and return soon to try more 😁👍The BONUS... Theres a small shop out back with a variety of Portuguese delights.

Great simple Portuguese food family run business friendly

Chicken and chips were great but we ordered a chorizo which was missing from the delivery - called up House of Chicken to advise of this and they were completely unhelpful. I understand it was via Deliveroo so this limits how they can resolve the issue but there are ways of dealing with these things and their customer service was awful, ultimately we have paid for something that we have not had through no fault of ours. Very disappointing, will not be using again.

The chicken from here is great. The staff are really friendly, I think its a family run restaurant.There is some parking outside, Im not sure if its free but there are spaces.We had a whole chicken, spare ribs and chips.The chicken was really delicious and tender, the chips sort of reminded me of Chinese takeaway chips and the ribs were pretty good too. The food is quite garlicky but Im a garlic girl.If we come back we might try a portion of the drumsticks because they were really good

As always, home made style BBQ chicken done to perfection. If youre a fan of garlic you will love their marinade. As for the ribs, cant fault them, equally delicious

I am only giving House of Chicken 5 Stars because I cannot give it 10 Stars!!Authentic Portuguese cuisine by a great family run restaurant.The chicken at House of Chicken is like chicken youve never had before. Everything is prepared fresh, nothing has been frozen or pre-prepared and everything is cooked to order on charcoals with a secret family receipt dressing.The best thing is that its ALWAYS consistent (A sign of a good restaurant succulent and tasty with a crispy skin cooked to perfection every time with either freshly prepared salad, rice or their famous crispy dry chips.A comprehensive Portuguese menu including steak, which is every bit as good as the chicken and other specialities and a great selection of wines.Their secret family desert is to die for and a perfect end to a fantastic meal accompanied by an espresso coffee.Once you tried House of Chicken you will never eat at Nandos again.

Absolutely enjoyed my birthday dinner here. The owners were super friendly and the food superb! It was our first time to try the food here so we ordered a few dishes to ‘try’, 2 hours later, we’ve ordered everything off their menu and more. Plus if you’re finding that homemade chips quality, this is the place!! Thank you Maggie and Marco, your place is a true local gem in Milton Keynes. Deliciousness!

Ive been here multiple times. Youve got to love the food here, and whats more, the owner is a lovely lovely guy who never fails to make you feel welcomed.

My husband and I went today to have some lunch. We haven’t been here since covid. We used to come often but stopped for a bit after I had a baby. Anyway it was nice to see Magui and Miguel they are both very welcoming and extremely nice. We even moved to Bedfordshire and went all the way to Bletchley so that we could try our delicious Portuguese chicken again.Unfortunately, my toddler started coughing all of a sudden and felt sick, I must admit we were embarrassed as we didn’t anticipated going to a restaurant and all of a sudden things got messy:-(Magui, Miguel and her daughter were so understanding of the situation helped me with my little one and we’re totally understanding of everything. They even gave me bags for my toddlers dirties, and a blanket!!! Magui was even helping me to tidy my little one in the restroom. You don’t see such a high level of customer service and so much care! Genuine care!! I’m forever grateful and couldn’t speak higher from this place I give them ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️The food is delicious, really nice genuine people, exceeded expectations in their customer service! I wish all the best for their family and business and we will happily continue coming back to support this local business.Sorry no pictures we were so excited and hungry we forgot to take pictures! 😀 but trust me it’s always delicious and it never disappoints.PS we will be back in a week or two and bring your blanket. Amazing!Im from the North East but this would be a go-to if it wasnt so far away!Its tiny. Its family run. The staff are super friendly. They clearly love what they do! Theyre Portuguese. It feels very authentic! Fully reminded me of my trip to Porto.The food was SO DAMN TASTY!They have a cool little shop out back with Portuguese products in too!Cant recommend enough 😍😍😍

This authentic little restaurant exceeded my expectation. Beautifully prepared food, and generous portions, fabulous customer service and it was lovely that the owners came over for a laugh and a chat. Just like it is in Portugal. We live over a hour and a half away...but I will make a point of putting this great restaurant on my top 3 and I will DEFINITELY come again.

The lady and the man seem very lovely. I think its a family business but the customer service was excellent and the environment was so relaxing and tidy.. I have not tried their food though so I cant comment on it yet.

Great food at a very good and fair price. We ordered ahead and out food was coming off the grill at the exact time. Seasoning was spot on and the rissols had crisp shells with that gorgeous warm inside, real comfort food. The wings were brilliant, rich garlic flavour and super juicy, we ordered two boxes but could happily have devoured another. The half a chicken, like the wings was so well cooked, we shared and that disappeared pretty quickly too. Will we be back? Definitely!Scored a 4 because there is more of the menu to try still and as we are in lockdown at the time of writing I dont think we got to experience all they have to offer. I suspect that once Ive worked my way through more of the menu and the produce they have to offer inside Ill be bumping this score up to a 5.Excellent find in the community and well worth a visit, the staff there are lovely people too! Go check it out.No pics of the food because we were too busy eating it, thats a recommendation in itself.

Went here on the weekend for a friends birthday , was comfy and warm and the atmosphere was very welcoming . The menu was a good size and had plenty to choose from . The waiters were very friendly and helpful . Superbock on tap went down a treat . We had the chorizo for starters which was actually 2 of them and pretty decent size and good quality , really tasty . For mains we all ordered the brazilian style steak rare and half a chicken . Food came quickly enough and was delicious . The steak took up most of the plate and was actually one of the best steaks I’ve ever had , was cooked to perfection and the seasoning was spot on . The chicken is slow cooked and was juicy and seasoned with garlic and a decent amount . Everyone there made a point to come and speak and have a joke with us and was lovely . Thank you for a great evening and we will be back to try some more dishes

Lovely food and friendly staff. I had never been here before but this first experience was excellent. The food made fresh in front of you and served with a smile. Well prices and a pleasant fields in the environment makes for a great night out here. They have an alcohol licence so most things you want are on offer. Five stars from me 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

The best place to eat traditional Portuguese grill chicken ; salted ham and Portuguese steak !! Miguel is fantastic person ; i totally recommend the trip from London amazing prices with best quality ever . Next time we will try francesinha!!

Booking a table in advance is required if you’re planning to visit at weekends. We received a warm welcome, the food was delicious and reasonably priced. My only minor gripe would be that the food was overly salty.

Great meal tonight - tried the Portuguese steak with egg and it did not disappoint - couldnt finish it there was so much meat! Great flavour from the grill. Hope to return soon. Good house red and great prices.

I live in Manchester and every time I come home I beg my parents to take me here. Best chicken Ive ever eaten. Amazing fries. Puddings are authentic and delicious. Im glad I can only have this occasionally, if there was one in Manchester Id be having it twice a week.

For an authentic experience of Portuguese cuisine and welcoming hospitality go to this restaurant. The food is freshly prepared on an open grill/ fire and served with a real passion. I could not recommend this restaurant with any more, you have to experience it yourselves. I and my Portuguese girlfriend had a great time.

Soooo delicious. Chicken is so tender and juicy it just falls off the bones. Fantastic value for money. Cosy atmosphere and the staff are very attentive and helpful. The owner/manager is very sweet and polite, such a lovely experience. Prompt service and a really good alternative to Nandos, I personally think the chicken is better quality anyway. Tasty seasoning on the chicken, not spicy but sooo flavoursome although their hot sauce is delicious too. Will definitely revisit. Thank you House of Chicken!
