Beautiful place but TOO MUCH EXPENSIVE

Meseros y personal muy amables. Comida muy buena, cuentan con piscina muy bonita que puede utilizarse por un consumo mínimo. Intalaciones agradables rodeados de naturaleza.

Great food and service. Excellent viewEdit: The experience with service and management is polar opposite than it was one year ago. Management was very rude to family, service couldn’t wait for orders, forgot to return to complete the orders, and left the table without offering drinks. And to top it off, hair in food. The view is still great.

Food is good, it has a beautiful view, facility is clean and cozy. The only reason I am giving only 2 stars is because the owners of the restaurant CHARGE the tip but they DO NOT give the tips to the servers. Technically in order for the servers to get A TIP is to give them CASH which means you are tipping TWICE because they have already charged you tip in the bill. Server was nervous when I asked about the tips and begged me not to say anything because they will “get in trouble.” DISGRACEFUL!!

Awesome location, excellent food and service, big rooms with a nice view to the lake. They have a parrot name Poly and she speaks! 😄. Nice size pool. It would be nice to have fans in the rooms so we can keep the windows open and listen to the birds. Also it would be nice to have phones in the rooms. But over all this is a beautiful place to stay.

Beautiful open space hotel and restaurant. The view to the lake is the “cherry on top”.The food is highly recommended, quality traditional dishes

we are from new york. We had try many places in new york city but This place is the BEST!!! Food was great the employees where very nice the place is located in a perfect panoramic view is great you can put it on words please try to go and enjoy it.

This place is a paradise! the service is excellent, all employees are very attentive, helpful, respectful and friendly. I brought my wife and my daughters and the whole experience was awesome. There was cold AC and hot water. The pool was nice and food delicious. And of course it was very nice to walk around Suchitoto town and explore. My wife and daughters loved their first time in El Salvador. We have been to other fancy hotels in CA and with all the confidence I can tell you that El Tejado is better than some fancy hotels in CA.When we comeback we will definitely come out to El Tejado. Thank you Sonia and Staff.

I highly recommend this Hotel/restaurant.The service was excellent. The food was delicious, the beds were comfortable & big, rooms had ac & hot water. The staff was super friendly. The views were to die for. The pool was big & perfect for me & my 1 1/2 year old. Definitely will visit again.

Excelent food

There is a swimming pool here as well(3,5$ per person additionallybut it’s pretty big and clean. The food was amazing and the view is outstanding. Definitely recommended!

Great dinner! Did not stay but the food was good. And if you get there early enough the view is incredible!

I would have liked to set a better review because the personnel was more than accommodating, but the managers do not know what hospitality means! No WiFi in the rooms (were almost in 2020), despite being almost the only clients in the hotel (we booked 7 rooms when they had almost nonethe kicked us out of the kitchen and the bars and do not allow us to have our own things, we pay extra for single rooms, and the cannot find a second key.....They may have a nice view, and nice personnel, but their management is just plain bad, and they will ruin your experience and the hotel in the long run!---Me hubiera gustado poner una mejor nota al hotel, ya que las personas que trabajan en el hotel son super simpáticas y a la atención al cliente. Sin embargo, la dirección de ese hotel no tinin la menor idea de lo que es la hospitalidad, o servicio al cliente!No hy wifi en los cuartos (y estamos ya casi en 2020), y a pesar de ser casi los únicos clientes del hotel (reservamos 7 cuartos, y son casi los únicos que han sido reservados), nos sacan del restaurante y del bar, nos impiden de poder consumir nuestras bebidas cuando no tienen más, pagamos extra para cuartos de dos singulares, y ni pueden encontrar una llave extra....Es cierto que tienen una buena vista, y los empleados motivados, pero la dirección es una de las peores que jamás aya visto en el Salvador, y les va a arruinar su estadía, y a largo plazo, el hotel!

Amazing place. Truly beautiful. Rooms are spacious and clean, staff are professional and nice, the views are breathtaking, the pool is always clean, and the overall atmosphere in the hotel is phenomenal. This hotel is worth your money.

Best place in El Salvador

I can not recommend this hotel enough. Service was amazing, the room and beds were incredibly comfortable, AC worked great too. Our room has a mind blowing view of the lake and the balcony was comfortable and sweet. The pool and dining areas were kept very clean despite the crazy number of bugs that appear every night. You heard all sorts of birds chirping and singing all day long. We felt very taken care of and would love to come back one day.

Very pretty venue overlooking the lake. Gardens are beautiful. Food is very good with healthy portions. The best part of my experience was the incredible staff always tending to your individual guest needs. Will definitely be returning.

Food is ok, not wow but ok :)

Near the town and the lake, its the perfect spot to vacation, breakfast is outstanding and so is the food from the restaurant, you can ask the front desk for help getting around the town, price and quality are the best.

One of the best and most beautiful hotel we have seen. The staff and service is excellent and the food is fantastic. We recommend this to everyone who is going to visit Suchitoto.
