This functional hotel is 4 miles from Heathrow Airport and 8 miles from Royal Botanic Gardens.Humble rooms come with Wi-Fi (fee), flat-screen TVs, and tea and coffeemaking facilities. Some have sofabeds, and kids 11 and under stay free.Breakfast is available for a fee, and an airport shuttle is available. An international restaurant features a terrace. Other amenities include a 24-hour bar and a business centre.
Good value for price I paid, I booked for the day so had the room 10-4pm. Check-in was fast and receptionist pleasant. Comfy bed, room a fair size with thermostat. Bathroom a little dark, poor lighting not really suitable for a bathroom where a woman might want to put on makeup or a man try to shave. Maid came in so obviously wasnt told room had been done and was occupied. All in all a good stay.
Hotel Ibis London Heathrow Airport is one of many hotels strung along the Bath Road. You can see the airport from the hotel. The bathroom is modern. Breakfast was good. They serve full English breakfast there. Make sure you pack all your toiletries and other essentials. If you didn’t bring your multi socket adapter, you will need to get one from their vending machine as the hotel does not provide one.Overall it was a good stay.
I stayed for one night in this budget hotel close to Heathrow Airport. The check in was quick and friendly but I was given a key to a room (214that was either already in use or had been left uncleaned with the light on (I didnt wait to find out). The staff at the reception desk apologised and allocated a different room (215). It was fine but the heating/air conditioning was on full blast at 30C and there were some marks on the carpet next to the bed. Additionally, there appeared to be dirt next on the tub around the shower screen. All told, I was disappointed with the experience and left with the impression that greater care needed to be taken at the hotel.
Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are small but adequate. House keeping is great on one day and sucks the next even after asking for the bed to be done everyday we still went up to 3 days in a row with the bed not being touched. Out of a nine day stay the made the bed and changed the bedding 3 times.
Solid hotel, clean though basic. Can rely on Accor / Ibis quality, which was a relief after a stay in another chain hotel with the opposite experience. Theres a desk that works well for a short working period, which was handy waiting for the flight. Breakfast variety is not huge but good and everything is fresh. A small negative was a corroded tap - not dirty but looked unpleasant, maybe overuse of aggressive disinfectant during the pandemic? Super friendly receptionist. It is not directly in the airport, you still have to take the bus (at a cost!), and plan in 30 minutes in total for that, but its close enough.
A lovely budget hotel with fantastic customer service. Nothing was too much trouble for all the staff I spoke to. Good food & hospitality. Close to Heathrow & with a budget £103 for a night was manageable and money well spent.
We were in the hotel for one night because due to a strike the flight with Lufthansa was postponed for one day. The hotel is close to the hotel, you cannot do much in the area. The room was clean and the air conditioning was already running, which was nice for the warm temperatures. There was an elevator, which the previous hotel did not have either. There could have been more electrical outlets, there is none at all in the bathroom and not next to my bed either. At dinner and breakfast there was a rich buffet, compared to our previous hotel this was an enrichment. Alcoholic drinks were not included in the voucher and were expensive. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel.
This will be the initial review.Upon arriving we thought these are some sad looking hotels, when we pulled in this hotel we thought “Hey this looks nicer than all the others.”Lobby was large, clean and looked nice. Front desk staff was nice, but put us in the worst room in the hotel, probably!Room 35, it’s directly above the boiler room and was cooking hot! The air con couldn’t keep up.Here’s the best part so far. “Sarcasm”Woke up around 7am and heard something. I thought it was raining outside because we had the window open because of the heat. It was the toilet overflowing and the shower backing up with sewage!! Got out of bed to stand in two inches of wastewater! Gross!!There’s no phone in the room, so I went to the front desk. The young man didn’t realize the severity of the situation and was laughing. We did get a new room down the hall, but the damage had been done.I went to housekeeping to ask for help, because the front desk said maintenance didn’t come in until 10am. I took her to the room, because she didn’t seem to grasp the situation at first either. After seeing the room she was very helpful and must have contacted the manager, because things started to get taken care of.Some of our clothes and luggage was on the floor, the room is so small there’s no where to put everything we had for traveling internationally. When I spoke with the manager, he was very apologetic and helped to get our items cleaned. Thankfully our flight wasn’t for two more days, so we should have everything back before we leave. That’s all for now. I’ll try to post update when we leave.
The location is good. The breakfast included is also okay. The size of the room is also okay. However, i agree with others that the room smells like urine and the ac doesn’t work. The room is warm. Second, the room look so much older and darker than the pics online. It just feels dirty with the urine smell and the darkness even though I think the utilities seem fine. There’s no door/ curtain for the shower which means that your washroom gets wet easily. I don’t understand why they don’t put a shower curtain on.Apart from that, the staffs seem friendly but the service is very slow.this hotel might be cheaper than others (it’s still quite expensivebut the experience was unpleasant so I don’t recommend staying here.
Nice rooms and friendly, efficient staff. The lobby has a pool table (though the cue is a bit broken inside/naffand the dining area is very modern/pleasant. The dinner was a decent meal; a buffet with a little bit of variety. The breakfast was one of the best Ive had from a hotel; a hot and cold buffet with the hot food all cooked just right. Only one minor downside with the rooms; there was no biscuit with the coffee (as customary nowadaysand there was no toothpaste; youre expected to buy it from a vending machine that doesnt work. They did deliver on soap, shampoo and towels though. Over all, an excellent stay.
Stayed here a few times, its great for easy access to transport links to Heathrow terminals or Hatton Cross and beyond. Never had a problem with staff, just dont expect too much room-wise for the price.Pros: good size restaurant and bar, aways found check in to be easy and links to transport are convenient.Cons: the rooms are a little dated and claustrophobic for my taste, some might not mind. The window is very small so dont expect much of a view. If you need to iron anything there is an ironing room rather than facilities in the room itself.Overall: Fairly good, would stay for the convenience but not much else.
The room was so incredibly hot, like waiting your turn to enter the gaits of hell. Almost suffocating like, the AC really did nothing to cool the room. The nachos, just don’t order them-you’ll be dissatisfied. The price was decent and it’s close to the airport! The room was clean. They have a nice picnic bench area outside, if you need to escape the furnace of your room. I could not figure out how to open the window.Staff was professional and I felt safe.
Worst hotel experience in 36 years of traveling. The day we departed this hotel, we rented a car and drove back to the hotel to pick up luggage and check out. This took less than 30 minutes. A week later we were charged almost $90 as a parking fine for loading our luggage! Thats more than $3 per minute - TOTAL SCAM. The hotel sent a violation to the rental car company and it was charged to our credit card before we were aware. I contacted the hotel more than 6 times and they finally they agreed to cancel the charge in writing, but then they never did. This is certainly NOT a reputable business. In addition to that, they have "airport shuttle" on their listing. However, they do not have a shuttle. Upon arrival in London, we wasted considerable time at the airport only to finally discover that deception, so we made other arrangements for public transportation to get to the hotel. This hotel does not show much regard for the welfare and experience of their customers.
This hotel was so amazing. The lounge was a great spot to hang out in after a long day. The free breakfast was the highlight of everyday, they had so much choices and many different drinks available. The rooms were a bit small but still very comfortable.
When catching the bus— make sure you go to the right IBIS! This place was a good value for its rate. Small, unmemorable room, but has everything you need. Staff was very helpful and friendly. They have a restaurant that looked good. This location was pretty good because I took the Hoppa bus in the morning to the airport and it was almost empty when I got on, but at later stops they had no room for other people, so I was glad to be picked up when I did!
Service was brilliant! A few changes to the family was made since my last visit.Commutation via email prior to arriving at the hotel was a little slow, which lead to miscommunication regarding my breakfast not being included with my reservation. However, thank you to Paula, flora and Sidney for helping me with my reservation on arrival.Room was clean and bed comfy. Enjoyed a lovely family meal. Definitely will come again. 😀
They do not have AC in the rooms or the lobbies they have a cooling thing but it is still hot but you can open the windows if its cool enough outside thats the only way we survive the bed has like a 1-inch foam pad that is your mattress Im going to attach a photo hopefully there is no ice there is no safe the bathtub is but you its like you guys stand up like two and a half feet twice as tall as a normal bathtub but the rooms were clean but no ice bucket but its not a good experience there you have to pay for your breakfast and its not worth it unless if thats what you need the Moxie down the street would have been cheaper but the cruise ship paid for it okay. Sorry cant get the photo of the mattress and then we looked at other rooms and the whole thing just has one is from we stayed at the Marriott courtyard like a 5 minute walk down the road and they had AC is soundproof in it so just rethink of where you want to stay
Very helpful and friendly staff. Nice spacious lobby with bar and restaurant. The room was small, but perfectly clean and tidy and well maintained. The shuttle bus to the airport stops right outside and you can buy the tickets from a machine in the hotel entrance.
