Hotel am Markt in Grevenmacher

Wir waren zu viert für zwei Übernachtungen im "Hotel am Markt". Besser gehts nicht! Saubere, moderne Zimmer, sehr reichhaltiges Frühstück und leckere Küche. Das ganze wurde gekrönt von einem sehr freundlichem Personal! Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Waren Gäste zum Abendessen. Sehr lecker 😋 und der Wirt sehr freundlich. Gerne wieder

Gute Italienische Küche und netter Service. Wir haben am Bach in der Sonne gesessen, schöne Atmosphäre. Der Riesling Saarburger Fuchs vom Weingut Appel hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Der Flammkuchen aus Pizzateig ist sehr lecker gewesen!

Ein sehr schönes Hotel, liegt direkt am Wasserfall 😃man kann alles zu Fuß erreichen. Das Personal ist super nett 👍eine super Saunalandschaft.

Das Hotel liegt inmitten des wunderschönen Städtchens Saaburg. Einfach alles perfekt. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Also wenn man Wert auf ein anständiges WiFi legt, dann vielleicht lieber woanders, das verlor am Abend mehrfach die Internet Verbindung.Update: Mein Vater, der die Zimmer für alle gebucht hatte, hat im Nachgang eine Mail erhalten warum er beim Auschecken sagte es wäre alles ok gewesen obwohl seine Mitreisenden online Kritik veröffentlichen, geht garnicht.

Le serveur na pas voulu nous accueillir malgré une terrasse vide: nous prenions trop de place avec nos trois petits enfants. Expérience très désagréable et le sentiment de se faire agresser.

Ich wollte ein Frühstück auf der Terrasse, leider kam keine Bedienung.Diese hat sich lieber am Nachbartisch ausführlich mit anderen Gästen unterhalten.Schade, so behandelt man keine Gäste.

Apart hotel, zeker de voorkant. Er is zelfs een zonnewijzer aan de voorgevel. Het aparte is ook nog eens dat er 3 wijzerverdelingen zijn. Ik kan alleen van de buitenste de functie achterhalen, maar dat is niet moeilijk. Gewoon de tijd. Kijk maar even op de foto hoe laat het is 😊👍

Zeer onvriendelijk personeel op het terras, wel prachtige locatie.

Kurzurlaub in Saarburg gebucht und wurden angenehm überrascht, das Personal war durchgehend freundlich und hilfsbereit...der junge Mann an der Rezeption gab wertvolle Tipps zur Freizeitgestaltung. Im dazugehörigen Restaurant kann man leckere Gerichte direkt an der Leuk zu sich nehmen...Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Blick zum Wasserfall, TV, Fön freies WLAN alles vorhanden...Zimmer erfüllen Ihren Zweck..aber.. und deshalb der eine Punkt Abzug...eine Renovierung, vor allem vom Laminatboden wäre nötig.Kommen gerne wieder...

Waren 2 x mit jeweils 4 Personen zum Abendessen dort, super freundlicher Service....Ob Salate, Pizzas oder weitere Speisen 😀alles top.

Sehr aufmerksamer Service an der Rezeption. Hervorragende Lage unmittelbar an der romantischen Saar. Sehr gutes Essen und sehr freundliches Personal im hoteleigenen ital. Restaurant. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt!

Alleen de verduisteringsgordijnen en douchegel shampoo flessen herstellen. Meer kan ik niet opmerken. Service van hoog vriendelijk niveau. Geweldig verblijf!

Nicht wieder! Am 24.06. setzten wir uns an einen freien Tisch, der noch nicht abgeräumt war. Die vorherigen Gäste hatten bereits bezahlt und sind aufgebrochen. Ein unfreundlicher Kellner kam ohne Begrüßung und fauchte uns an, wir sollten gefälligst aufstehen, er müsse abräumen und uns nochmal am Eingang aufstellen. Aufgestanden sind wir, aber dann auch in ein anderen Lokal! So etwas darf nicht sein. Man begrüßt doch seine Gäste freundlich und bittet sie ggf. auch in einem angemessenen Ton, kurz aufzustehen, wobei die paar Gläser auch so abzuräumen gewesen wären.

Wir sind dort essen gewesen und es war sehr lecker. Die Umgebung ist auch sehr schön.

Spontan mit 10 Personen zum Mittagessen aufgeschlagen. Kein Problem: Tische gerückt und fix für alle passend gemacht, toller Service, leckeres frisches Essen, gute Preise. Immer wieder gerne !

Wir waren im Mai 2022 im Hotel am Markt in Saarburg.Waren zusammen mit Freunden dort.Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen.Die Zimmer waren geräumig und die Bedienung allesamt sehr freundlich.Vielen Dank und jederzeit wieder.H. und M. Porombka

Zimmer sind sauber und das Bett war bequem. Dusch-WC war einwandfrei.Aufgrund Platznot lädt das Zimmer nicht zu längerem Aufenthalt außerhalb der Betten ein. Nur kleiner Beistelltisch mit Stuhl, die wohl max. zum Postkartenschreiben taugen.Service super nett. Sonderwunsch nach getrennten Betten wurde selbstverständlich erfüllt.

Dieses Hotel hat es verstanden, wie Service und Leistung funktioniert. Hier stimmt einfach alles. Man wird herzlich begrüßt, man bekommt ausgesprochen hochwertige Qualität geboten und wird zu jeder Jahreszeit gleich Bedient. Wir waren nun schon öfter dort, im Sommer und im Winter. Natürlich ist im Sommer allein durch die Lage schon mehr los, aber nichts desto trotz hat man das Gefühl als Gast willkommen zu sein und die Qualität ist gleichbleibend und immer gut. Also weiter so! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder :-)

On a stroll through Saarburg we decided to have lunch here, based on the extensive menu and the beautiful location of the outside dining area; overlooking the water. It’s of course always a risk to chose a restaurant based on looks especially in a touristy area such as Saarburg.As appetizers we chose the carpaccio and the French onion soup. The carpaccio looked pretty but tasted a bit weird and was quite soppy. The “French” onion soup was tasty, but the only resemblance it had with an original French onion soup, were the -few- onions in and on top of it. The bread part used as a lid to cover the soup was made of pizza dough and resembled a giant mushroom. The Pinot Grigio was lovely and upon request we were given a carafe of (tapwater.For an entree my husband ordered a salad “sportiva” for each of us, which our waiter misunderstood as “one salad to share” so we only got one to share. When we asked the wait staff why we only got one, the (uninterestedwaiter told us we “should have said it differently”. Interesting course of action, blaming your customers. He offered to have one more made but since we didn’t really like the food so far, we decided to leave it like this.The salad was okay and the portion fair. We were a bit disappointed that the “feta” on the salad was just white cheese and not actual Greek feta cheese. By that time however, we were eager to leave and didn’t say anything.Not impressed with the food or with the staff. Can not recommend.

Food was very bad, waiter was not even considering the fact that the food was untouched and made us pay whole price, very not professional. The hotel part was ok.

The hotel was disappointing ,difficult to acces, unfriendly italian man i think it was the owner. Unfriendly staff . Breakfast not fresh and little choice .

We went for dinner with our two children (6 & 2and my parents in law. When we asked where we could sit on the terrace we were waived towards a table that was not set as were the other tables and could not seat our 2 year old. We had to ask multiple times for a child seat.When we ordered wine, only two glasses where provided instead of three.When it started to rain heavily we moved inside, and again asked where we could sit. The waiter waived that we could choose, but very abruptly wanted to take away the child seat. Clearly they did not appreciate children, but dont understand a child in seat is better manageable.The food was ok, however we ordered Rigatoni and got served Penne without being asked or excused. Plates were dropped on the table.The three waiters were very busy with walking around the five tables in our area and each if we asked for something to one of the waiters we were told to ask it to our own. At some point I told them that our own waiter then should make himself available first.We did not feel welcome or attended too and would not come back again.

Even thought that the restaurant was full (saturday eveningthe waiter managed to get us a table. The food was tasty and fresh. The waiters were busy, but always smiling and friendly.

Stayed for two nights. Comfortable, clean and great food and staff. Good value and beautiful location. I highly recommend it.

Cannot say anything about the hotel nor the food. Waited an hour in the restaurant without even getting a menu. Finding another restaurant was the only option.

Beautiful setting at the waterfall in downtown Saarburg. Restaurant consistently serves good food. Good selection of regional wines. Outdoor dining experience is one of the best in Germany.

Very welcoming and professional staff. Nice, large and clean rooms with panoramic view. Price is competitive with the other hotels in the city. There is a good italian restaurant in the hotel and next to the hotel there is also an ice cream shop with good, authentic italian ice cream. The ice cream is made daily and so ke always fresh. They have tables outside, so it up to you whether you want to eat, just drink authentic sicilian wine, or eat ice cream and appreciate the view. Really reccomended

Nice place to eat in Saarburg right by the waterfall and nice variety if you are not sure what you would like to eat. I had Pizza Peperoni I never had boiled egg on a pizza before but it was great.

Das Restaurant ist Fantastisch! - We toured this region of Germany in October of 2010. During our day in Saarburg, we chose Hotel am Markts Restaurant Meridiana completely at random for lunch and definitely made the right choice. The only thing to surpass the high quality of the food was the quality of the service. This is a wonderful little bistro with a beautiful location. I highly recommend it and would dine there again, if I were in Saarburg.
