Clean hotel. Friendly staff. A b it pricey imo given that it feels a bit aged at places. Definitely could use a bit of dredging up here and there. Then again, Norway is expensive.

Lovely hotel. Rooms warm, clean with everything required.Staff friendly and helpful.Excellent breakfast. Buffet style with lots of choice. Fresh yogurt and granolas, cereals. Selection of breads and crossiants. Selection of cold meats, cheeses and smoked salmon. Selection of hot foods, eggs, potatoes, sausages. Delicious giving a great start to the day.Scandic is in the center of town with activities around. Great location to the Port if you are going on a Cruise of the Fjords.

Affordable price. Beds were not the best. Enjoyed the sauna, the pool was closed so did not get a chance to try that. The breakfast times on their website was wrong, learnt that the hard way. The overall quality of the food was ok. The walls appeared to be a bit thin as we could hear our neighbors really enjoying their stay. If you have an iPhone and plan on watching shows form your phone on the tv you have to pack a Chromecast as the tv’s built in cast function doesn’t support iPhones

The service you get by reception is fantastic. Nice and humble people, they have some really tasty food and a great breakfast in the morning. I would recommend this hotel to everyone 👌😊

Used as quarantine hotel. Very bad food, rooms not very clean upon arrival, a not so pleasant experience overall. Kirkenes is a very nice place though. Thon hotel down the street is recommended!

We both loved this hotel. It is well-situated, with good rooms and exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Kirkenes is an interesting town, and the Border Museum is really worth a visit. However, we were so lucky that our stay coincided with Norways finnmarksløpet. For us, this was a remarkable and magical sight. To have those amazing dogs and mushers right below our window was such a treat. And the hotel staff were so helpful informing us and keeping us up to date with events. The food was good too, though we also ate at AJs Asian food kiosk! The hurtigruten shuttle bus picks up from this hotel.

I stayed here as they allow pets (eventhough I didnt have mine with me I like to support business which allow animals). Amazing breakfast. You can tell it used to be a nice hotel but needs refurbishment. Pool not open. Was clean & staff friendly. Issue with the booking, where bedding configuration not as requested. Finally staff put the beds together & the fastening screws fell apart without even sitting on the bed! Doors slam & walls paper thin.

Good, clean hotel with nice rooms. Central location and staff very helpful. Breakfast was good but only criticism is the restaurant/breakfast area is quite small for the capacity of the hotel particularly when guests check out at the same time which means breakfast is really busy.

Fantastic family stay! A wonderful man from the hotel came over talked to kids about history of Kirkenes and the king crabs. If your family has an opportunity to meet him it will be a highlight! Breakfast was great and bus to airport stops outside. Looking forward to returning!

Quiet comfortable room, great buffet breakfast, pleasant staff. My only negative was dinner last night which was not good-only crab soup and Ceasar salad with shrimp but could not taste seafood as too spicy.

A cozy hotel placed centrally in the town. Staff were very kind and polite as well as quick. Fair pricing and food was good both with dinner and breakfast the next morning. The room was big enough and bathroom even had a bathtub. Beds were fine as well. TV was a bit small but alright.

This a good budget hotel. It is very clean and comfortable. You can make tea and coffee in your room and a hair dryer and iron are provided. The shuttle bus from the airport drops you at the door. Dont be put off that the bus says Hurtigruten on the front - it is a normal bus.

My first time in this hotel. Actually my first time in Kirkenes. Great welcome by reception personnel and all demands from our group have been handled in a very professional and effective way. Nice clean rooms as always in Scandic hotels in my experience. I know I will come back here without any hesitation.

The night we stayed, there was about 30-40 teenagers drunk and yelling out the windows. No idea what was going on but having people banging on your door, running around the halls yelling wasnt great. Reminded me of my student hostel days except i wasnt there to party! Checkout the other hotel in town - we walked there at midnight unable to sleep and found it calm and peaceful on the water (but unfortunately fully booked!!)

Pleasant hotel. Rooms are spacious, do have a kettle and most of them a bath tub. If you shall need a shower instead - call a few days ahead.Reception staff are defo not among the pro-active ones. In general.Breakfast superb.

Very nice hotel in the centre of Kirkenes, large rooms, clean and tidy, well appointed. Free parking outside. No yes or coffee facilities in my room though. Great breakfast. Hurtigruten provides a free shuttle to the goal from the ferry terminal (20 minute walk). Good service and good value.

Very comfortable rooms, family rooms available. The pool & sauna facilities are excellent. Evening meals showcase regional specialties (including fresh King Craband the breakfast buffet is excellent. The location is central and served by the airport / ship shuttle bus service. Staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Probably the best value for money hotel Ive ever stayed at.
