Off the NH2 national highway and backed by forest, this casual hillside hotel is 6 km from the Kohima War Cemetery.Warmly decorated rooms featuring wood floors come with free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs and minibars, as well as tea and coffeemaking facilities and en suite bathrooms. Suites add balconies and/or separate living rooms. Upgraded suites add whirlpool tubs.Amenities consist of a restaurant, a stylish lounge bar and a cafe. There's also a salon and a spa, plus a gym.
It is the best place to stay in Kohima with ample number of rooms. All modern amenities are available here. The breakfast is decent in a location with the nicest view you can ask for. You may like to prefer rooms with the jungle view with sounds of cicadas and crickets all night.
Best place to stay in Kohima. Nice hospitality rooms are modern, clean and lively. Food is awesome
Room Nos 4019 , Excellent Hotel ,very kind staff . Food tends to be spicy with lots of chillies . Lots of Wood carvings ,Big Spacious rooms
The infrastructure is good but everything about this hotel is worst.
As a mothers day special, my aunts treated us to this place. Its pretty far, as from wher I live, but the location is nice, very pretty. The exteriors got loads of wooden carvings and the colour theme is decent too. Its not the place but the food i went for.Its a tad bit pricey, but its alright. The staff are very kind, courteous, however the preps took well over 1 hr when they said just 30 to 40 mins. Im not complaining because i know good food takes awhile, but more efficiency = good.Overall, this is a good family diner, a decent hotel, and hey, if youre around, why not just go have some food! Their Naga dishes are good ;)
Attend mostly for professional gatherings. Well maintained, ample parking space, relatively quiet despite being right next to the highway. Their rooftop conference is very stuffy and uncomfortable during hot and humid months, especially if the crowd is large.
Our room (No.405was a bit narrow and elongated. The room had a sitting area, air conditioner and room heater. The bed and bath linen were fresh and soft. The washroom had running hot and cold water. The in-house restaurant serve nutritious and delicious food. Kudos to the chef and his associates for that. There is another bar restaurant adjacent to the reception desk.
Very beautiful hotel in Kohima, I stayed here for 2 days. All the facilities are excellent and quality of food is also very good. I will stay here, if I ever visit again Nagaland
Most of the dishes on menu were not available. Bathrooms were smelling.
Pros:Great food. Great waiters. Silent and cool ambience. Parking is spacious.Cons: tables in the restaurant are in odd places. Will improve significantly if the larger tables are moved somewhere else and not in the middle.
Awesome delicious food. Enjoyed the mutton curry. Good service.
Very neat & clean, sophisticated, well maintained, excellent service, spacious parking lot with moderate price menu...
An ideal place with good service and good food. The location is also not far from town but away from the hustle and bustle. This hotel is one of the few hotels in Kohima which has the facilities to accommodate State guests.
A tad bit expensive than the rest. But the ambiance makes up for it. Great staff.. awesome chef.
Good and calm place. Not very big and limited parking available inside. Good cafeteria and conference place. Food is delicious. Not very sure about pricing. Pandemic protocols are followed in Nov. 2021. Staff are very courteous.
Best hotel of Kohima. Great ambience, ample parking facility,Gym, bar etc. dormitory for drivers also available. I have given ****because of the limited Breakfast spread & limited hours of room service e.i. 9 PM. Food is ok.
High classy hotel and should you find them offering a buffet dinner on occassions or special events, you must go and try out the cuisines they offer. Though pricy, at the end youre sure to realise the great care they invest upon presentation, customer treatment and not forgetting the very grand interior setting that seem to suit every occasion. Glad that highly recommendable eve happens now n then over here. Its a must go if youre looking for some fresh air with clear views of the assembly building up clear.
Always helpful staffs and very polite too. Much better experience then other places. choice of food , beautiful view of the mountain ranges, quite , music, lovely coffee choices, music instrument for guests to play, polite and humble staff, tasty ice creams, live music from time to time, bbq, sit out places, live stage, souvenir stores, valet , all the good stuffs, if thats what you like this is the place to go to...I enjoyed the warm welcome by the staffs there. bbq with charcoal heaters and live music during hornbill was much to be missed
The stay was wonderful, staffs were friendly and very welcoming. Housekeeping and hygiene were excellent, foods were awesome and in terms of restaurant services they have a wonderful excellent team. Overall I should say I had a wonderful three days stay, and I would suggest anyone looking for a perfect holiday in kohima should drop in at Hotel Vivor and experience the unique touch of hospitality and services that a tourist can hope for...!
One of the very few places open in Kohima at 8pm. Nothing to speak of the ambience..however the staff is quite friendly. We ordered for Naga dishes. The portion sizes were HUGE!! The dishes tasted good, however typical smell of bamboo shoots (?was a slight put off. Overall an OK experience.
Great food. We eat there regularly. Comfortable and well furnished room (we stayed in a suite). The semi-outdoor Morung dining area is a unique spot to dine during good weather.
Loved it, everything about this property is very good. This was my fourth time, best in Kohima location is very good keeps you away from city traffic. Excellent view of Kohima.Room service is very good and staff are friendly.Room - 8/10Service 10/10Food 10/10 excellent North Indian foodBreakfast 10/10Cleanliness 10/10View from room. 9/10
Good hotel but the menu was disappointing...whatever u asked for, they didnt have. The Naga food is horrible, compared to other restaurants in delhi, goa, mumbai etc... The hotel being in Nagaland should be able to provide authentic home cooked Naga food. The food was too bland and nothing like Naga food which was heartbreaking.
With fast growing popularity of "Hornbill Festival", Kohima will positively develop into a tourist destination.Hotel Vivor is a good property everything is in order but something is missing.May be they lack professional touch. Also the hotel is a little bit away from the main market and other transport facilities.
Nice Place... Loved the breakfast/restaurant area. Also... The momento shop. Naga Chilli Pickle is a must buy item from that shop. Hotel staff are quite professional, polite and caring.
Very good service. I especially like the hotel staff because they are friendly and amiable. It is one of my favorite place to meet up with friends and catch up. It surely contrasts with the service I got from niathu resort despite the fact that both are owned by the same corrupt politician cum "entrepreneur".
One of the good places to stay in Kohima. It is one of the only hotels that has a bar in Nagaland which is a dry state. Good clean rooms. Food can be a little better.
