The Hotel staff is very friendly and the rooms are nice. Some of them are seaview as well. The location is perfect, its right next to the pier, so very easy to catch any of the ferrys witch are frequently going to and back to Malé (every 10 min!!)One of the beautiful beach is so close, but good to know, here in Villinggili theres no bikini beach, so everybody have to wear a proper clothes - this is a muslim Island!The Hotel facility is could be better a bit, but nothing special: some of the plugs are doesnt work & the alarm clock is clicking loudly, so its not a big deal :)Altogether we spend here a very nice time, we would book this hotel in a future as well!! ;)They have a kitchen, and the food is good, but a bit spicey for us, but here is totally normal.

Last 16th i went there for my relaxation and we were stayed 2 night. The room was very good with all amenities. And those staff also very friendly. Thank you so much for your service and well definitely come back.

Dont even think of staying here! Tap on the Blue S next to my name for the photos. There was a line of people complaining about their rooms this morning.My photos should be all you will need to see. I will try and attach.First off I prepaid for a Deluxe room with Beach View and on arrival got Down Graded to a Single With Street View and very heavy mold problem.Not just odor , look at the photos.The young lady checking me in did not seem to speak much English so I just went along with it at first and thought the AC would help with the odor.It was after midnight so I opened the door and turned on the fans to air out the room.About an hour later when I went to use the bathroom I was shocked at what I found. The entire bathroom door was heavily covered with mold including sides and door jams.At that point it was so bad I started scrubbing it down to try and remove so of the odor.I ended up sleeping with the door open and mosquitos coming in all night.The young lady at reception took one look at the photos and said no one should have to live in such conditions.She got the manager on the phone and his only offer of resolution was to offer me another free night or free breakfast.The difference in the price of the down grade was more than his free breakfast offer.I did offer to split the cost of my original booking rate and said otherwise I would dispute the charges with my credit card company and leave reviews accordingly.He said go ahead and leave the reviews and dispute the charges.So here I am. I also saw room service bring a meal up in the elevator last evening and the sliced onions on the plate were Black and rotten in the middle section. I decided then I would pass on breakfast there.You have been warned.Dec. 7th 2019

classy place to stay at Maldives

A bit dated but good price.

Reasonable for price. Room was smelling of slight damp. Location within a few steps of ferry terminal. Has cafe/restaurant at the ground floor. This place is NOT in Malé island, but in Vilingili island, which is a 10minute ferry ride, it was inconvenient for me with large suitcases as unfortunately I did not do my homework and found out later that its not on Male island. Friendly staff.

Normal hotel with good prices and services

Reception is friendly, room is clean and comfortable. Very close with villingili ferry terminal and almost only need to walk around 1 minutes.

Very friendly, kind, and helpful people in Virnova Hotel, especially the Hotel Manager from Philippines named Mona. Nice food in cafe and amazing overall experience staying there.Affordable accommodation that is near to the capital, Male. 5 mins ferry ride at MVR3.25 per trip. Nice and clean beach with friendly locals.

This hotel is very near to the vilingili ferry station. There is a ferry every 5 minutes from male to vilingili. Basically male is overpopulated and people there needed more place to stay. Hence, there vilingili island which is a super small island just 5 minutes away from male via a public ferry. The ferry cost is also very cheap.Hotel is decent for its price. There is no sight seeing locations in vilingili island, so there’s no use staying here. If you just want to explore the capital of Maldives, male, you could stay in male or choose to stay in a more private island, vilingili.

Good place for taking a short stop. Its about 50m away from public beach and ferry terminal. Good service for the travelers.

A very nice cozy hotel away from Male but within 5 to 10 mins ferry ride. Works well as a transit hotel. The ferris from Male airport do not ply directly to this island. But you can request the hotel to arrange for it. The rooms are neat and clean and big enough for two people, just as shown in the pics. The ferry is just 2 mins walk from the hotel. The hotel also has a nice beach area just in front of it where travellers can enjoy swimming/ snorkelling can be enjoyed. Its on a island majorly populated with local habitats and there are not many hotels. As such the beaches are conservative and hence all the beaches on the island are no bikini beaches. Nevertheless, if you looking for a quite place with nice surroundings rather than the over cramped Male, this place works the best. Would recommend if you looking for a nights stay at Male for transit purposes. Actually this place works otherwise also, just for a general stay to explore Male etc.

Very close to the jetty. Good comfortable bed. Counter staff is friendly. But we you stayed for one day. Will come back again.
