Hotel Villa D'Amato in Palermo

Servizi e personale attenti e cortesi. Comodo hotel con parcheggio non molto lontano dal centro. Il bagno bello ma problemi con l acqua della vasca/ doccia non certo copiosa. Sistemata l idraulica nulla da eccepire.

Hotel malconcio, porta della camera con un buco, abbiamo dovuto mettere un pezzo di carta igienica per tapparlo, pochissima pulizia con pavimenti sporchi e molta polvere. Doccia a mezzo servizio. Unica nota positiva il personale in sala che si è dimostrato davvero gentile e cortese

L’albergo ,la parte più vecchia dove abbiamo soggiornato è un bel po datata.Ci vuole un po’ di manutenzione e pulizia.La colazione buona, personale gentile.Il caffè e il cappuccino si pagano.La cena abbastanza buona.

Uno degli hotel più schifosi che abbia mai visitato, e sia per lavoro che per svago nè giro tanti.Pulizia pari a zero,Colazione quasi scadente se non completamente schifosa.Apparte i dipendenti sia del ristorante sia della reception, lo sconsiglio vivamente a tutti.Uno dei responsabili, non so il nome, ma capelli brizzolati di una maleducazione inaccettabile.Mi serviva un coltello e una forchetta, ho chiesto alla reception, i quali mi hanno detto di prenderne uno dal ristorante, non vedendo i camerieri, né ho presi 2 direttamente da un tavolo, in cui vi erano tante posate. Si alza un signore, questo diciamo responsabile, e mi comincia a invieri contro, come se volessi rubarle.Lo schifo più assoluto.

Questo hotel mi ha delusa parecchio. Da una parte abbiamo un personale gentile e cordiale che a mio avviso risulta sprecato allinterno di una struttura che si presenta malconcia. Camera sporca già allarrivo: pavimento pieno di impronte, ragnatele e polvere lungo le cornici delle finestre, bagno con i servizi sporchi, ossidati e pulsante dello scarico difettoso/rotto. Allinterno della camera abbiamo sentito puzza di fumo e da lì abbiamo chiesto il cambio della camera perché in quelle condizioni era inaccettabile. Ci hanno trasferiti in una camera dove le condizioni erano uguali alla stanza precedente ad eccezione dello scarico che funzionava e lassenza della puzza di fumo. La colazione era discreta, peccato che il tavolo del buffet fosse pieno di mosche e moscerini senza nemmeno una copertura per i cibi...infatti ho consumato solo cibo confezionato.

Hôtel correct mais alors très bruyant : pas du tout insonorisé on entend les passages toute la nuit et les italiens n’étant pas très discret nous avons bien profité d’un caprice d’enfant à plus de minuit sans que personne ne demande le silence ! Quartier pas très recommandable, sale type zone industrielle le plus :parking gratuit accès plage mais zone non disponible à la baignade ( sale et abrupte : rochersNous avons mangé au restaurant pour le prix les quantités et la qualité laisse à désiré : 5 raviolis dans l’assiette pour 12 euros…. Il a fallu ajouter des assiettes de frites aux enfants mais frites surgelées à peine cuites… Les plus le personnel est très poli accueillant serviable. Le petit déjeuner ? Nous devions prendre l’avion tôt mais le petit déjeuner n’ouvrait pas avant 7h on nous propose un panier à emporter : un yaourt 2 biscottes avec une bouteille d’eau et un sachet de 2 petits gâteaux ! Bref le tarif de la chambre pour 5 n’est pas élevé mais on sait pourquoi.

Decent staff, nice cleaners. Steady going place, not much going on, perfect for someone who needs quiet. Rooms were fairly clean. AC working well. The worst part was breakfast, only cakes and biscuits? Come on guys, its Italy, bring some fresh mozarella, vegetables, bread, ham, salami, cheese etc. Area is fairly dirty, I would not recomend to go any where nearby. But generally speaking, no major issues.

Abbiamo passato10 notti in questa gradevole struttura.Considerando il prezzo (basso), non avrei preteso granché; invece hanno un rapporto qualita/prezzo molto buono.Mi hanno dato una camera (206), superiore alle aspettative, sul lungomare e non lontano dal centro..Ringrazio tutto il personale per la disponibilità ma in modo particolare la Signora Rosy per essere stata molto gentile, simpatica e soprattutto molto PROFESSIONALE nei nostri confronti.

It was a lovely 3star Hotel with Palm trees,egsotic plants,see side and wonderful Sunset.For dinner we tried one of The local specialities a cace cold canolles.It was everything right.

Hotel dotato di un importante parcheggio con annesso ristorante discreto, abbastanza comodo per raggiungere il centro storico, camera di dimensioni discrete con annesso bagno non finestrato. Pecca molto grave per le camere che si affacciano sulla strada, la mancanza totale di insonorizzazione :il rumore del traffico rende impossibile riposare.. Peccato.

Établissement bien situé, proche du centre de Palerme, en bord de mer, et doté dun grand parking. Par contre même si le service est bon, la literie des chambres est désastreuse. Les chambres sont un peu vieillottes mais propres et très spacieuses. Le restaurant, si vous optez pour la demi-pension, ne varie que très peu ses plats.... vous aurez droit à des pâtes en entrée tous les jours et un choix très limité pour le plat principal... bref on vient pour salimenter pas pour se faire plaisir...

Front desk, restaurant and room service - lovely staff. Hotel is situated about 42min walk to the city centre. Bus stop is just on side (bus no 231 and 224 ticket cost €1.40 in April 2022). We had bit dark room with small window. However 90% of everything we needed. Rooms cleaned every day. There is no kettle or tea in the room. Breakfast continental, you can have some cheese and ham on request. We had dinners included (need to pay all drinks extra even for waterbut I recommend going to the city and trying some food there. Have a good time in Palermo 😉

Friendly relaxed place. Not formal. Food OK. Bit far from centre of Palermo to walk to but 224 linea bus go straight past hotel to the central station in Palermo. Take it from there. Green area at back leads to the sea, but there is a park very close on the way to Palermo.

Rooms a bit small and noisy from the street. Breakfast very poor, mostly sweets and you had to ask for 2 slices of ham and cheese. But the price is fair for what they are offering.

Lets start with air-conditioning...in their advert they say rooms are air-conditioned but the unit itself is about 100 years old and so it doesnt work. Rooms get really hot and its a busy road so also very loud( no chance of sleeping with your windows openBeach is nowhere nearby. Breakfast was shocking. Basically old bread and some ham but on a good day you might get cheese also. To finish off the hotel is located in what looks like slums. I know its cheap but dont lie in your adverts!

Despite the off season, the hotel was quite busy.Clean rooms, stable Wi-Fi, nice staff. Parking!

Room very noisy, bathroom used, toilette flush got stuck, shower head broken falls down, bulbs blown out, breakfast choice poor, tea filter not replaced, no vegetables, dinner good, stuff friendly

Low cost

I have just returned from a 4 night stay at this hotel in Palermo with my daughter and her step sister.1. It is not near a beach, there is a cliff at the back of the garden which drops down to the sea.2. The shuttle promised was only available on the first morning after which it was broken. As I am disabled this meant taxis each way to town ranging from 18-25 Euro each way.3 Rooms were very basic and dated with inadequate air conditioning, my room was very hot with the aircon on full blast.4. The balcony overlooked a dirty run down area, no chairs out there but would not have wanted to look out over a very busy road.5. My sheet was not changed for our entire stay6. sleeping was impossible as the bed was rock hard, 1 pillow was supplied, they did provide a 2nd when asked.7. Breakfast was poor, no danish pastries, only boiled eggs, not much choice in fruit.8. No one seemed to use the restaurant and when asked for a menu the staff said there were better places to eat locally.9. The language barrier was a massive problem staff did not understand us, spoke in Italian about us and were generally rude.10. The barman was particularly rude, unhelpful and had a face like thunder.I loved Sicily but this hotel was awful, I was pleased to leave and would not return again or recommend to anyone. Ruined my Sicily experience and the shuttle unavailability made our stay here very expensive.

A good place to stay with own parking. Only 5-10 minutes to the city center. It was clean and with nice personal. The breakfast was OK. The only disadvantage that beds were old.

Rooms are clean. Friendly and helpful staff.Rates are not bad either. Stayed for 4 nights.Ate there once. Breaded steak, wasnt to my liking. My wife wasnt impress with her pasta either. Overall not bad experience.

Good hotel, cleaned and with nice and big room. Not the most modern building, but that wasnt an issue for me. The accept small dogs, have a big private parking and access to the beach. Usually is quite expensive, but I found it at a great price. The location is not the best, the neighbourhood at night is a bit dark.

Nice and clean hotel, a bit far away from center but they have a free shuttle bus that take you to Porta Felice.Free parking and good breakfast.

Nice simpel rooms. Very standard. The tv is very small. Location is fine (15 min from downtown Palermo)

We spent a week in July here, the hotel is relatively clean and staff on front desk are friendly and most of them speak English...Breakfast wasnt very exciting, cheese and hams with some breadI didnt really like the machine coffee, but you can order from the bar if you wanted to... There was limited selection of juicesLocation of the hotel is very good, but Id recommend hiring a car, bearing in mind there is a ZTL (low emission zonein town that you can only pay in advance, or pay the fine!We were bitten a couple of times while sleeping but that could have been ants rather than cleanliness.One thing though, they dont have irons to use

There are many things which are positive about this place, like connectivity with the bus, location is by the sea etc. But the rooms (deluxare too small while standard rooms were bigger, either the nomenclature was something which was differently used or we were mistaken, I dont know, any ways, we shifted to the standard and it was spacious and better than the delux, food is below average, breakfast is below average

Very beautiful hotel. The rooms are very clean and modern. Intercontinental breakfast, lunch and dinner are one of the best in Palermo. Fantastic view from the rooms to the sea. Secure parking place with enough space for everybody. We enjoyed this hotel and wish the owner Marco all the best for the future.

Not very good view in the deluxe room with sea view, especially in the low floors. Wifi is not working in the new wing where our room is. Noisy insulation is poor, hear everything from corridor and upstairs, which is terrible. On the plus side, room is spacious and nice. Friendly service. Great to have off street secured car park. Nice to have breakfast included.

Great little hotel room to setup base camp while you are in Paleramo.

The room itself was nice but the WiFi wasnt working, neither the air conditioning.During my one night stay the hotel was hosting a birthday party that blasted high volume music until past midnight. I dont know how often this happen but apparently it can happen.
