Hotel Sven Vintappare in Stockholm

Location, location, location, right in the center of Gamla Stan and so a great jumping off point for all your Stockholm adventures. The building is a few hundred years old, so expect some creeky floors and narrow staircase, but also lots of charm. Sometimes with older buildings it can be quite noisy, but it was surprisingly quiet. If I want to stay in Gamla Stan again, I would definitely be back!

Perfect location, great room and breakfast. Spiral staircase to rooms, so be aware if you are unsteady on your feet.

Mycket mysigt ställe.

Utrolig flott område, å det er gjort så mye som man kan gjøre i ett veldig gammelt bygg. Så rommene er store, men litt lydsensitive.(som gikk kanskje ut over andre😊 Personalet er super trevlige ( hyggeligeog en god frokost.

Typical 17th Century Home turned into Boutique Hotel. Nicely decorated, comfortable with great breakfast spread and very kind staff. Being such an old home, floors are a bit slanted, but adds to the charm. If you like something cozy and in center of old city, this is it. We stayed here early April, so cant speak for summer months ie noise or busy streets..

Trevligt läge på hotellet och rummen och atmosfären var mysig. Frukosten serverades i det lilla kaféet på bottenplan, vilket vi tyckte var trevligt. Personalen var trevlig och bemötande.

Zweden stralen schoonheid, vriendelijkheid en klasse uit. Dat zie je in hotel Sven Vintappare.De kamers zijn klassiek mooi en echt gezellig. De bediening is top en met een glimlach. Wil je chocolademelk met havermelk. Geen probleem.Ligging top. Tja. Meer hoef ik niet te zeggen. Ik blijf voor altijd.

Så mysigt och fint hotell. Gammalt är vackert och har själ. Väldigt trevlig och serviceinriktad personal. Vi kände oss väl omhändertagna och saknade ingenting. Kommer komma tillbaka!

Very cozy and vintage style little inn. A bit on the expensive side, but the surrounding environment of the city adds to the price so its understandable. Friendly and service minded staff, excellent breakfast, excellent rooms, although room no. 7 (the suitedo get hot when its around 25 degrees Celsius. A portable AC exists in that room but does not cool it enough, but there are table fans to help. Since the building is centuries old its not flat and you do feel some of the weird angles. This adds to the notion its a vintage, old style hotel. If You easily get nausea Id advice you to chose a more modern place to stay otherwise theres a chance youll get nauseous in your room and everything you walk down the staircase. The location is almost in the middle of the shopping area of "Old Town" so the location is excellent in that regard. If you are easily disturbed by sounds of voices and chatter at night your in the wrong place on a Friday and Saturday night and during vacation time because there are restaurants, pubs and street kitchens rather close. If none of this bothers you.. go for it, the hotel and the area its in is well worth a visit and a stay over a few days.

Nice and cozy boutique hotel in Gamla Stan.

Great, old house, cosy rooms and a fabulous personne. Centrally located in the Old Town of Stockholm, definitely a good choice when sleeping there

The café is a wonderful oasis with excellent service. Try their cardamon roll.

A very cosy 400-year-old building in the very heart of the old town (Gamla Stan), so it is very easy to get to the sights in the city. Helpful and hospitable staff. One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at

I loved this old bijou hotel. It was built in the 1600s. Its small but cozy and feels like its on a slant.The employees were warm and helpful. The breakfast was simple yet delicious; with a variety of options. The employees leave after 6pm so they give you a key code to get in and out of the hotel. This part of Stockholm has narrow streets so in the mornings you can hear the trash trucks. I recommend ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. However, I must warn everyone that the beds are like butter; you might sleep away. Which is what I did and why Im going back.

Great cozy bread and breakfast in the middle of Gamla Stan. Minutes walk from multiple cafes and the main through-streets. The breakfast spread was fantastic, cured meats, homemade granola and other scrumptious items to start your day. Isabelle made you truly feel like a guest in her home.

Mycket trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Litet och personligt hotell med bara 7 rum och ett mysigt cafe på markplan. Byggt 1607.

Ein Ort zum verlieben zur Inspiration und zum perfekten Ausgangspunkt in Stockholm. Wer persönlich klein und individuell bevorzugt ist hier richtig. Absolute Wohlfühlatmosphäre!

Отличный отель, исторический центр, историческое здание 1607 года. Прекрасное расположение. Очень приятный сервис, замечательные девушки на ресепшен. В отеле всегда можно перекусить, так как есть свое кафе и гостям всегда оставляют фрукты, круассаны и чай. Чайные принадлежности также есть в номерах. Очень тихо и уютно, удобные кровати. Все достопримечательности в шаговой доступности. Рядом много ресторанчиков, от отеля прямая пешеходная улица к торговому центру города и всем магазинам. В действительности номера выглядят даже лучше, чем на фотографиях. Но есть одно НО.На этажи ведет узкая винтовая лестница, поэтому с багажом забираться тяжеловато. Мы жили на последнем этаже - красивые виды, как из домика Карлсона.

What a wonderful place to stay. so refreshing to stay somewhere that isnt a clone of every other hotel in the world. Only disadvantage was check in being between 2pm and 6pm. But it worked for us :)

Mysigt litet hotell i en byggnad från 1607. Trevligt bemötande, charmigt rum och sköna sängar. Hade gett full pott om frukosten varit större med varmrätter och TV-kanalerna varit inställda korrekt. Stort plus för att vi möttes av en flaska Cava på rummet då jag nämnt i förbifarten att vi firade min hustrus födelsedag...

Mysigt boende i hjärtat av Gamla stan. Trevligt bemötande, sköna sängar och fräsch frukost. Huset är från 1607 och vi bodde i rum 3 där allt är lite vint och snett i mysig gustaviansk stil.
