Hotel Suites Villasol in Puerto Escondido

Habitaciones muy viejas sin mantenimiento de las mismas, cuartos con olor a humedad y baños con el piso amarillo de la falta de cuidado de los mismos, pasillos super descuidados y también con falta de mantenimiento ( mucho que desear por los precios de las habitaciones), casi no hay personal en recepción.Las fotos de internet no se parecen en nada en realidad, el tamaño de la alberca es muy pequeño y siempre hay mucho ruido a cualquier hora ( tanto del ruido que hacen los mismos huespedes del hotel como del ruido de la calle).

Entraron a mi cuarto con todo y el señalamiento de no molestar las almohadas y camas super duras casi nunca tienen agua caliente el personal amable fue lo único bueno el carrito que te lleva a la playa llego tarde lo tuvimos que esperar 20 min

El lugar es maravilloso, su recepción fue muy agradable, todo el personal te ayuda con una sonrisa, son muy atentos, muy agradables también. Los desayunos y las cenas que ofrecen son muy deliciosas. Te ayudan pidiendo los taxis, tienen un club a pie de playa. Por las noches es muy tranquilo, se puede descansar y relajar en paz.Tuve un problema con la ducha y en el momento lo repararon. Y cuando nos hacían servicio en la habitación nos dejaban notas con mensajitos muy lindos y chocolates.Es un lugar que recomiendo al 100.

Es la 4ta vez que nos hospedamos aquí, anteriormente todo excelente pero esta vez nos quedaron mucho a deber, pésimo servicio de gerencia, siempre había sido incluido el club de playa y ahora te cobran la entrada, las habitaciones pequeñas descuidadas, no hay agua caliente y la contacion de los que atienden en recepción dicen que le hagas como quieras agua caliente no hay!!! Pésimos. Pedimos habitación en el primer piso y se nos nego, somos personas con movilidad reducida y presión arterial alta, negaron el cambiarnos de habitación qué ahí nos toco y ellos no podían hacer nada, que si querían algo se viera con la ve dedora del servicio qué el hotel no puede hacer nada!!!!! Sorprendente el mal servicio actual, pero más sorprendente las contestaciones, PESIMO SERVICIO, ULTIMA VEZ QUE CONTRATAMOS EL HOSPEDAJE AQUI.

Amé este sitioMi estadía fue de 4 días y 3 nochesDesde que hicimos el check-in el personal de recepción fue súper amable y nos comentaron que teníamos acceso al club de playa, el cual es una extensión del hotel pero con acceso a playa Bacocho.La mejor parte de este club de playa es que ellos te ofrecen transporte del hotel al club. Cada 30 minutos sale un camioncito que te lleva y te regresa completamente gratis.El servicio de limpieza en las recámaras; es bueno, pero no son tan constantes. De los días que estuve solo nos hicieron el servicio 1 día, supongo que porque en las veces que tocaron la puerta nosotros estábamos dentro y prefieren no molestar a los huéspedes, es entendible aún así.Las toallas que te prestan para la alberca te las cambian una vez al día y sin ningún problema, esas las solicitas en recepción y ahí mismo las devuelves.El restaurante: tienen dos restaurantes por lo que entendí. Uno da servicio hasta la 1 pm, en este mismo puedes tomar desayunos con costo o sin costo dependiendo lo que hayas contratado. El servicio de buffet esta completo, me gustaría que ofrecieran algo más local dentro de las opciones, pero siempre puedes ordenar a la carta si no te gusta lo que sirven ese día.Por las tardes queda otro restaurante que también ofrece bebidas con alcohol y sin alcohol, además de room service hasta la 1 am. De aquí consumimos varias veces y la comida es 100% recomendable. En mi caso en particular, la tlayuda y la pizza margarita fueron mis favoritas.La alberca; la profundidad de la alberca es de 1.50m completamente, a excepción del pequeño chapoteadero. Tienen regaderas a un lado para que te enjuagues antes de meterte y es súper requerido, ya que el agua luego tenía basura por las orillas de la alberca, misma que se ve de personas que no se enjuagaron para ingresar a esta.La escalera para salirte está algo floja, considero que deberían reforzarla para poder estar segura 100%.El area común esta súper limpia y siempre se mantiene así. Las escaleras y los pasillos también están en buen estado como todo lo demás.En la habitación me gustaría qué tal vez tuvieran una caja fuerte para poder dejar pertenencias importantes, ya que ellos no se hacen responsables.El servicio de bicicletas (así es, rentan bicicletas), cuesta $100 por dos horas o $150 durante todo el día. Te las prestan con todo y candado para que las puedas asegurar a donde vayas.Los asientos sinceramente son lo más duro que he tenido en mis nalgas durante toda mi vida, después de un ratito es muy cansado. La bici que me tocó a mi ya casi no tenía llantas ni freno trasero, pero cumplió con el propósito de transportarme.sugeriría que les den un poco de mantenimiento y un asiento acolchadito para soportarlo mejor.Por último, el hotel esta súper cerca del aeropuerto. Si eres una persona que le gusta caminar, te quedará súper cerca.Si te tienes que mover a otro sitio, sin problemas puedes solicitar un taxi en recepción y ellos usar su radio para pedir una unidad cercana. El precio del viaje depende del taxista, completamente externo al hotel, pero por lo regular no son manchados, incluso puedes pedirle al personal de recepción que te digan cuál es el precio aproximado y serán honestos contigo.9/10Sin duda volvería a este hotel

Needs improvement service not so good room not clean enough

I visited Playa Bacocho to participate in the baby turtle release and was in desperate need for some shade. This was the only place that I could find that allowed day use (there’s another hotel next to it but it is exclusively for guests).It was 600MXN for a day pass, and any restaurant consumption was applied toward this price. I arrived around 3pm and the place was quite packed with no available beach beds or tables. I started at a one of the tables closer to the pool and moved to a pool/beachfront bed chair later on. For the most part it was fairly quiet and peaceful, with normal conversations around.I had a mojito, which was quite bad. Later I ordered food and was pleasantly surprised.Unfortunately the service by the male waiters was terrible. In particular, the older bald man assigned to the beach dining area. He was so apathetic, never made himself available, spent most of his time on the phone and walking around not making eye contact or coming over to check in. What was funny was that at the end, when I got my bill, he asked for a tip. Quite incredible.The younger male waiters were a bit better but definitely not proactive at all. The ladies were much more helpful.

El hotel no es bussines class, es para vacacionar. No es el más lujoso, pero ofrece un buen desayuno buffet gratuito con estación de omelets y quesadillas. No hay elevadores todo es por escaleras y las habitaciones son rústicas, la red wifi no es segura enlaza con un tercero. Tiene alberca más o menos grande y cuenta con club de playa. El menú del restaurante es austero pero económico. A mí no me funcionó porque no cuenta con traslado al aeropuerto, trabajo en aeropuertos y la comodidad de las habitaciones es esencial para mí por las jornadas de trabajo y porque uso mucho equipos electrónicos para complementar mi trabajo, sin embargo para una familia, amigos o pareja manejan planes all inclusive y pasarán una agradable estancia. Hay aire acondicionado en las habitaciones y eso es bastante bueno, enfrían súper bien ...

The staff and overall facility was very nice and taken care of. Everyone was very hospitable and appeared happy to serve us. The food for the breakfast buffet was not our favorite, as we believe there could’ve been more variety. This is a good hotel to stay, if you want a location relatively near the smaller beaches. If you are seeking a place near restaurants and stores, this is not the place for you.

Lugar ameno, tranquilo, familiar. Sin embargo no existen protocolos de seguridad en caso de sismo, la comida es buena pero no muy variada, accesible pero pudiera mejorar. Los colaboradores son amables, aunque un poco ineficientes. El servicio de taxi no es muy ágil, playas cercanas. En el club de playa debes hacer un consumo mínimo de $400 por persona para permanecer en las instalaciones. Habitaciones con aire acondicionado, sin caja de seguridad, pequeñas en comparación a las fotos que muestran, un poco descuidadas pero cumplen con su función.

We had a king sized room with a balcony from which we could see the ocean (not directly on the beach but you have an obstructed view of water meeting the horizon). The bathroom has a window that opens and there are green plants around the window so it feels very tropical. The grounds are well-tended and lush.Housekeeping was excellent and provided turndown service. Staff were polite. The breakfast buffet did change every day and they even had a little hut where you could order omelets. The restaurant has the best crema de frijole sopa!The beach club was just down the hill. We only spent two half days there. They offer two happy hours per day. If you walk over the rocks there is a beach that was very calm and easy to swim at if the water happens to be rough elsewhere.

We stayed here right after hurricane Agatha expecting there might be some issues (WiFi and hot waterhowever everything was perfect. Our room and the hotel overall was very clean. The staff are very friendly and the food there was great. We rented a moped for the week so had no trouble getting to the beach club or around town. Definitely recommend staying here. You won’t be disappointed.

Wow! 5 stars for the people working here especially the general manager Hugo!We moved from mazunte to this hotel during the hurricane Agatha. Hugo made us feel safe he was on top of things and had all the staff working to make sure we all felt ok.He needs a raise and a promotion!Rooms are super clean and hotel is very close to the beach!

Service was very slow, did not have hot water, and they would not refund when we needed to cancel early. Beach club was alright but the pool is out. Walk to the beech club however has a crazy hill so walking it is not a good idea and the shuttle services were terrible. They say it is every 30 mins but even after having someone radio for one we wait for an hour.

Nice place for a quiet weekend. There were some things i didnt like though. Pictures here are a little deceiving, it is not close to the beach you must take a shuttle to the club. Also, the internet had some security warning all weekend, you could use it but had to ignore several flags from your computer. Overall its good for families and those wanting the beach club access.

I dont know how else to get anyone froths hotel to respond to my daily calls and emails! Like is this a business that cares for its reputation?? I wish I could get a negative star to this hotel. I am outraged! I have stayed in this hotel 2 out of 9 nights in October 2021 and had to cancel our stay because of a funeral. The hotel agreed to cancel a reservation, promised to refund, asked to wait 15 days (its their policy and now it is January 2022 and I am calling every day for weeks now to resolve this issue. One day a person tells me that the refund is approved and they need an email with my address for the refund to be wired. Many emails with all the information were sent. The next day nobody speaks English. The next day the person doesnt know anything about this situation. The next day I need to call back. The next day and the excuses are endless. Why is this so difficult? I made a mistake of not canceling with booking.com, trusted the hotel staff. And now $1000 of refund, that has been approved, is still not wired. I mean, what kind of dishonest place this is?

Terrible service in general from staff and management. Crummy infrastructure. Better options in the area for the price.

- Although the main pool area is beautiful, it is off premise, closes early, and also doesnt accept amex- The "breakfast credit" that came with the room wasnt even enough to buy an orange juice- I wasnt informed that there was no room service and when I tried to get help ordering food elsewhere they were not helpful.- My room came with a kitchen but has no cooking equipment- Nice locks insides the room but you are unable to deadbolt the room once you leave the apartment

We brought our son who just turned 1 for his first trip to the beach. We had a wonderful time, great people, great food and great stay. The staff went out of their way to make sure we were happy. Turns out they have a bakery inside and make their own bread daily which turned out to be delicious, we definitely gained weight. Highly recommend it.

The pool area was fun and close to the beach, a little high on the prices but fun place to be. Closes between 7 and 8 so go early to get your moneys worth

Nice staff and clean rooms. Wifi in common areas is acceptable but their is no in-room wifi. Also the dining was above average.

Great for a relaxing vacation

Rooms are simple and have everything you need, we strugled with air conditioner a bit. The beach club is awesome and the view at sunset is lovely!

I had the worst experience ever on the very first night at this hotel!! I received two strange phone calls in the middle of the night from "a family member " first , and from a complete stranger the second time. Nobody, family or friends knew I was staying at this hotel, so: who shared my information with the people who practice extortion? It had to be a hotel employee since they were the only ones who had access to my full name and room number!! Scary!! Since that moment, I didnt get to enjoy my stay and was extremely anxious and paranoid. I didnt feel safe and I didnt know who to trust, so I decided to check out immediately even though I had paid several more nights. I dont want this to happen to anyone else!
