Beautiful hotel, centrally located. Within walking distance to everything. Excellent buffet breakfast and staff. I was upgraded to a large room. Very spacious room and clean.

An absolutely fantastic experience. Everything is first class and completed with the finest of touches. The front desk staff is thorough and knowledgeable about the entire city. Rooms are immaculate and the views are th lake are beautiful.

Fantastic staff, great location and great food!We stayed in the suite which was on the top floor and had the spectacular lake view ❣️the staff went over and above to help us. We reached very late and had issues reaching our booking at another hotel, so we had to find a last minute spot and Hotel Schweizerhof staff took us in at 11:00 PM, made the room available and prepped dinner for us! We were treated very well! We had a great stay!Thanks to the amazing hotel and its wonderful staff who made our stay memorable and pleasant!

PLEASE TELL ME, what brand of matress and bedding does this hotel use, because Ive NEVER BEEN SO COMFORTABLE in my life, and Im 67!!! No kinks, backaches or stiffness in the morning. Clean, excellent service, phenomenal breakfast choices. In the heart of Lucern with beautiful views. Just a perfect stay!

Staying right now at this hotel.When we got our room, we got upgraded to junior suites.It sounds nice at first.Then we arrive in to our room.My daughter spotted lots of bugs in the room. They sent a very nice staff to our room, who help and took care most of it.The we started to unpack so we move things around and found out how dirty it was.Then I want to see some movies try to connect my device with TV as instructed but couldnt do it. Another staff came up try it for a while then told me their is some technical problems. It will be fix in a while.One day passed, nothing happenedIt you expect to get what you pay for at a 5 star property, this is not a place to come😔

Great location, service and thoughtful staff. It has retained the lovely old world charm. The staff was very warm and as they were aware about us being on a road trip, they handed us a travel hamper which was a very thoughtful gesture on their behalf. Would definitely visit their properties on our future adventures…

A fantastic hotel. Worth a detour. Position of the hotel on the lake is fantastic, staff 100% kind and willing to oblige. Well appointed rooms and minibar. Comfortable beds.I just hope Mr. Berset the Swiss politician lifts all COVID restrictions. Pointless and it is killing the Swiss hotel industry. But of course, that is nothing to do with the Schweizerhof. But if someone at the Schweizerhof happens to see Berset maybe you could have a word with him.What is cool about Switzerland is no COVID pass for eating on lots of terraces. And this hotel does a super breakfast they serve in your room.

Excellent hotel with so much history. The staff pays impeccable attention to all the details of your stay. We stayed in the junior suite which included some incredible views. The hotel is perfectly located to walk around.

It should be good but no( We couldn’t use the bathtub because the water pressure was too weak to fill it. We asked for another room, they couldn’t provide. They gave 2 separate bed and for a couple it does’t work, we asked for 1 whole bed though. They told us that New Year dinner is fully booked but finally found places for us and we were sitting in the empty room without music. We waited for food very long and they couldn’t bring, although I asked and the waiter didn’t want to do something with it. The sauna was cold, the light wasn’t good too bright or too low. The parking is expensive and the hotel can’t provide it.

We loved this hotel, the service is incredible, we have bags brought up, the person who check us in took us to our room, security person came with the uber eats courier when we had some food delivery, all services were fantastic, the room is lovely and service is impeccable, one of the best services I had so farThank you

This time we stayed at Hotel #Schweizerhof Luzern.This hotel is a sample of how important to train all the team equally (I mean every its chain, coz it influences on the final impression of the hotel, if we gonna come back here and reccomend it. And in case if one chain is brocken or isnt trained like the other chains - the impression of the hotel goes rapidly down.Everything looks perfect here I mean I would put 10 (or 9of 10 : location,  design, reception,  level of communication at the reception, existing facilities in the hotel etc. Even their concept and main message "Where history comes alive", And also special thanks from me for  small daily surprises in the room before the bed time.But the cleaning team (chainis what I think they have to improve. This is just my (ourpersonal opinion, experience based on this stay here. Maybe we were not lucky this time, but really to have black hair in the clean bedroom linens , in the bath and the shower, used wine cork ...And of course we asked to clean, but the level of communication of a cleaning person shows that she is not that pleasantly trained to communicate with the clients as at the reception. "This is just hair!" - her rude answer while she was trying to take away the hair. Sorry, but this is 5* hotel, we pay great money to sleep in a clean bed and clean room, I dont wanna sleep in the bed with the hair of another person that I dont know, and think all the nights from where this hair came from... from which part of the body too... And one evening we came back to the room and it was seen that somebody cleaned the room, but plates/cups were still left dirty, some brocken stuff in the shower were not put back...Thats why my impression of the hotel is confused now. I feel that hotel can do better if they put more focus on room cleaning service.

The hotel is amazing from our first day to the last day. The staff was super helpful and friendly. The location is perfect and the room is big in size compared to other hotels which was convenient to us. I recommend this hotel to GCC nationals.

Had a real great experience here. Employees were so very attentive and the hotel had personal touch to made my stay here great. Really beautiful ambience as well.

Visited for two nights as part of a tour group. Nice room and the hotel is very convenient to the lake at the front and shopping just behind. Interesting art in the lobby. Food options were very good and front desk help for laundry and other special needs was outstanding.

Horrible service quality in the café restaurant - stay clear. We went to the café for a couple of drinks and some deserts. The staff (at least 3 waitressesdidn’t bother welcoming us and showing us a table. We actually had to chase them and ask for a table. After we received the menu, we waited for ten minutes for the waitress to actually come to our table and take our order. Unfortunately they didn’t bother coming and preferred to play with their phone so we left. Really a pity as the Schweizerhof used to be known for good service. Not any more, stay clear!

What a great hotel! Room is excellent. Service is impeccable, it honors hotel’s motto “empathy and excellence”! The hotel is a city attraction on its own, and provides you with great views to basically everything you should be looking at in Lucerne. 10 out of 10!

Very, very central location, historical building. Rooms are nice and comfortable, if you can afford - pay suplement for lake view. It is really amazing! Nice (but noisyterrace with lake view. You can have a lunch or dinner there. To be honest food could be a little better...but if you plann to eat at many other places and restaurants - location of that hotel is perfect.

We came on Friday evening to have a dinner on terrace and the table were they sent us to sit, wasn’t clean and not ready. We sat down and waited someone who would come and clean the table and maybe would get even menu. After 15 minutes, we just stood up because the service people were too busy to remove the pillows on terrace and were too occupied to chat with co-workers.

I will return to Hotel Schweizerhof!The hotel is located perfectly in the heart of Luzern.The staff were warm and the service was excellent.I enjoyed a 3 course meal from the hotel restaurant too.I rarely give 5 stars, but this hotel deserves it!So do yourself a favour and stay at this hotel while you are in Luzern 🌞

We had a lovely time in Schweizerhof, it remained very much loyal to its 175 years long proud tradition. Five stars well deserved. We will come again. 👏

We just spent the weekend in this hotel and we had a fantastic stay. The staff (even with the maskare always smiling and make sure you are always ok and not missing anything. We received complementary little cakes and signed card to welcome my family. Breakfast was really good too with various dishes to choose and taste.The room are great and bed very comfortable.The kids were so happy. I would definitely recommend this hotel to families who want to share a good family moment.

We were staying at a different hotel, but had a fantastic afternoon here after a long day on Mt. Pilatus. The drinks were so refreshing and the environment was welcoming, elegant, yet relaxing.

Perfect stay, fully recommended.For the ones who appreciate all the details:As a Lucerne resident, why would I stay a night at a hotel when walking home would work just fine?Let me tell you, this is not just any hotel, and even for us locals there are plenty of reasons to spend the night (or, even better, spend as many nights as you possibly can!).As with the recent restrictions in regard of the COVID-19 outbreak, a friend of mine and I treated ourselves to a special one-night-vacation in our beloved hometown and it was simply amazing. Everything was perfect - from check-in to check-out, and beyond:- We were taken care of by very friendly and corteous staff.- The breakfast was out of this world (great variety, we tried it all, everything was simply DELICIOUS!).- The view out of our room was breathtakingly beautiful (and yes, we consider ourselves "used to it", since we live here - yet still, we were amazed).- We each booked a back-and-neck-massage in the hotels own wellness and spa, and we would fully recommend this to anyone.Further assets to this gem:- Reach Lucernes old town with all its touristic hot spots, iconic photo spots, bars, cafés, restaurants, and even some night clubs within short walking distance.- The main railway station is just a 2 minute bus ride / approx. 8 minute walk away.- All rooms are individually decorated, with much love and special attention to detail. Every room is dedicated to an artist or group of artists / music band who stayed at the Schweizerhof during a festival / event.- They offer all kinds of services and can easily help you with anything organizational you might think of.Also, the staff are taking all the measures in order to protect themselves and us guests from the pandemic risk. We can fully recommend this hotel, even in the current times.Thank you to all the staff members for making our stay the best mini-vacation we ever experienced. We will be back!

Magnificent hotel in a prime location. The reception when we arrived was perfect. The hotel is exquisite with old-world charm. Our upgraded room was gorgeous. Spotlessly clean. Breakfast was wonderful and dinner was superb. We are looking forward to our next trip there!
