Es un lugar agradable pues está a unos metros del centro, la habitaciones son buenas por el valor del precio..

Yo estuve ahí hace un par de años con mi hijo y pues el que atiende muy amable y muy modesto el hotel. Es para quienes buscan un lugar barato y céntrico porque al día siguiente deben salir temprano para ir a otro destino.

Precio beneficio adecuado, colchones un poco deteriorados, goteras en regadera y en la habitación que rente sin aire acondicionado, hacía algo de calor por la noche aún con el ventilador, pero nada insoportable si estás acostumbrado. Lugar agradable, iluminado, ventilado y tranquilo , lo recomiendo si no deseas gastar más, me costó 320 la habitación sin a/a .

Un lugar para llegar a descansar después de los paseos, me tocó la habitación 12, tenía 2 camas , estaba limpia, el baño muy pequeño pero limpio, con agua caliente, el aire acondicionado en perfecto estado, televisión de cable, camas regular pero llegas tan cansado que descansas igual bien. Recomendado 100 % para una estancia corta,

La publicidad es engañosa, así como la información del alquiler de las habitaciones, el lugar está sucio, así como la ropa de cama.Le hace falta mantenimiento al lugar.

I have lots of Merida videos on my YouTube channel DougP Vlogs. Hotel San Jose is an absolutely great hotel. Located just a few meters from Plaza Grande in downtown Merida. This is a simple hotel with large hight ceiling rooms and comfortable beds, No a/c (and not neededjust a ceiling fan. The room rate and location can not be beat. Lots of hot water but the internet is slow.

El lugar huele muy mal, las habitaciones están deterioradas, el baño parece público, las sábanas estaban manchadas, no da ningún tipo de confianza el lugar, el agua caliente sale después de 10 min y hay que desperdiciar mucha agua para ello, aunque la regla dice que después de las 10pm todo debe estar en silencio no dormimos por los ruidos tuve que buscar otra opción ya estando allí.

Lugar poco recomendando pata una estancia largaBueno si solo se busca para dormir la habitación 14 no la recomiendo está aún costado de la recepción y es bastante incómodo que te escuchen dormir e incluso ir al baño.De ahí en fuera todo tranquilo.

Económico, limpio y con resguardo de maletas. Nos guardaron las mochilas a las 6 am. Lugar para descansar y salir todo el dia

Tiene comida yucateca excelente lo encontré por casualidad y aunque el restaurante se ve muy sencillo hay un apartado con aire acondicionado para disfrutar su cocina

Tiene habitaciones muy limpias y el trato es muy amable. Recomendable para descansar además que en mi caso mi habitación era muy fresca

Está muy bien la relación calidad-precio, es barato, aprox. 16 dólares por noche, así que puedes esperar algo de 16 dólares la noche, está limpio, las camas bien, no huele mal y respetan tu privacidad, si volvería otra vez

Hotel con precios accesibles y personal muy atento y amable. La limpieza es buena, las habitaciones se observan de época colonial, lo cual depende mucho de los gustos de cada persona. Lo único que mejoraría sería la ventilación puesto que a veces los ventiladores son insuficientes para las altas temperaturas de esa bonita ciudad.

El hotel es viejo es una palabra, otros hoteles cercanos tienen la misma tarifa, y son más comodos.Los cuartos están en pésimo estado.El gerente del turno vespertino es grosero, y prepotente.Un familiar vino a visitarme y dijo que no pueden pasar al cuarto, y no tienen un sitio apropiado para recibir visitas.Una salita rota, sin ventilador y sin aire acondicionado.La comida es cara y muy mala, excepto un recepcionista, todo el demás personal, tiene una actitud poco servicial.No recomendado.

Decent hotel. Very friendly staff. Good breakfast. Has tour packages. Room was bare bones but that is expected for the price. Staff English ability is minimal, but enough to get by. Location is absolutely amazing, right in the center of town. Good place.

Well located hotel but that’s about it! Pretty rundown. The room was not nice to stay and relax! And the shower was super basic. Breakfast included but not really good.. It’s cheap for Merida accommodation but still doesn’t worth the money..

One of the worst nights sleep I have had in a long time. A spring was poking through the old and uncomfortable mattress and the room was generally rather grotty.My friend (Mexicanspoke politely with the hotel but they refused to discount the cost of the room.

Lugar totalmente céntrico, el hospedaje es barato por $30 más en tu hospedaje te incluyen desayuno, te ofrecen dos opciones para el menú, el sabor es bastante bueno; le hacen limpieza diaria a la habitación, incluye baño privado con agua caliente, wifi, pantalla smart tv. Lo malo son las camas y sus fundas, además del ruido que se filtra a ña habitación

Es muy muy básico. Los que atienden son amables y si llegas antes del check in te dejan guardar tus cosas. Sería conveniente para ir solo ya que si son varios es incómodo que el lavabo este fuera del baño. La ducha no tiene ventilación y se encierra el calor. Es muy viejo pero si la idea es ahorrar y estar dispuesto a pasar pequeñas incomodidades está bien. Hay desayuno incluido y no está malo.

Run down hotel, very basic. Dont even give you a bath towel. The room is big but there is only one plug well away from the bed, by the sink. Not convenient to charge the phone. Its very central though. Still pretty quiet.

It is an inexpensive option if you want a nice regional snack. Get a cubetazo or a "jarra de jamaica" (non-alcohol drinkwith friends and enjoy a milanesa with rise, side vegetables and tortillas to make DIY tacos.

What a shathole. It should be 1 star and not 2 star! Location is central but for 530pesos per night plus booking fee we definitely didnt get what we paid for. As soon as we walked in at close to midnight after a long bus ride I knew it was already a nightmare but we had no energy to look elsewhere. It stunk of strong insect repellent, mothballs, old cigarette smoke and mould. Disgusting! The taps and shower head in the bathroom looks like it had mould all over it. Saving grace was a hot shower and good working aircon that slightly helped rid of the stink but not much. Im pretty sure we inhaled enough spores in one night to last us a lifetime. Effing hated it!

We loved our stay there. Location was great. People working there were very friendly and helpful. Especially a nice guy with glasses from the front desk. We had two options for breakfast and both of them were really tasty.

Although not what we expected, this hotel offeres a very affordable accommodation right next to the main square in Mérida. Decor very dated but the rooms are huge with more beds than needed.This hotel offers a good breakfast (2 optionswhich is included. Also an affordable restaurant with a very good food. The staff are friendly. You can also store your luggage after check out.Its cheap and cheerful, you get what you pay for.Id stay there again and would recommend this hotel to friends.

Waited over 30 minutes for my take away food at the hotel restaurant downstairs and it was poor quality ...

This is the budget place to stay IF you dont mind not having air conditioning. Its breakfast would do a place charging twice as much credit. Its location is very convenient for seeing old Merida. Staff are friendly. Oh and for us the shower was hot, so whatever was wrong with the hot water is now put right.

Habitaciones con poco servicio, y falta de mantenimiento, los baños están pequeños e incluso con presencia de moho y hongos por humedad, la atención en recepción es muy indiferente. Lo bueno es que el costo por habitación no es caro. Con respecto al restaurante la espera de la comida es demasiado y se comportan muy indiferente y nada servicial, la comida no es buena ni con gran sazón, el jugo de naranja esta demasiado rebajado con agua, y en el menú aparecen la cantidad en gramos de las porciones la cual no se respeta y te dan menos. Así como si pides algún extra como salsa o tortillas extras se molestan. De ahí en fuera esta bien, tienen internet, agua caliente, y limpieza de cuarto

Hotel rooms were a little run down but at least it was cozy and had a/c it was also cheap...ok hotel for a cheap price.

If your idea is to be outside and visiting places, you must go to this hotel, cheap and it is like 50 meters away from the Cathedral

Cheap place to stay, you get what you pay for. The restaurant in the bottom was decent. The best thing about this hotel is the location as it is a two minute walk to the center.
