Hotel San Giorgio in Bergamo

El hotel está bien. Es muy correcto y acorde para el precio que tiene. Está un poco alejado, pero en media hora se puede ir andando al centro antiguo de la ciudad alta (la parte más turística de Bérgamo). También hay transporte público cerca y está a 8 min de la estación de tren.La relación calidad precio me parece muy buena.

A warm welcome given by the lady owner when I arrived without booking was enough to hook me in.She was kind enough to offer me two alternatives: a room with outside bathroom to be shared by 2 guests for €50 a night and a room with private bathroom for €60 a night.I chose the latter. The room, spotlessly clean was decorated in a classic style, with hanging framed pictures and mirrors. To add to the vintage style, a crystal chandelier hanging from the ceiling provided the necessary light. This classic style pervades throughout the hotel, the reception area and the floor corridors in particular. This place was formerly a monastery for monks, the kitchen and refectory on the ground floor and the dormitory cells on the upper floors. Maybe that is the reason for preserving a vintage style throughout.The bathroom, though small had all the necessities required for a short stay. All facilities, the shower included seemed to be newly renovated and all the necessary toiletries were available.Theres really nothing to criticise with regards to the room (my room had in addition a fully functional a.c.or the service given but...why dont they provide a buffet breakfast as all hotels in Lombardia do? There is enough space in the reception area to put tables and provide a hearty breakfast every morning.

Good location, close to the bus and railway station (5-7 minute walk). The stuff are very friendly and helpful. Clean room but need renovation

Sono stata in questo hotel per due settimane. Né per affari né per vacanza. La sua posizione eccezionale per raggiungere,a piedi, lHumanitas Gavazzeni e il centro della città. Tutto molto curato e pulito. La sig.ra Anita con suo marito Gualtiero persone eccezionali che gestiscono la loro attività con grande professionalità.

Place à 500m de la gare, cest idéal pour explorer la région. Lhôtel lui même est installé dans un ancien monastère et les chambres correspondent aux anciennes cellules monastiques. Rassurez-vous cest fait avec goût et tout cas cest un hôtel de caractère.

Posto bellissimo, vicino e facile da raggiungere dalla stazione fs, il titolare è il personale sempre disponibile, le camere sono spaziose e comode. Ottimo prezzo. Ve lo consiglio.

Cet hôtel nest pas à cinq minutes mais à un bon quart dheure, à pieds le long dun boulevard très bruyant ! Il ny a pas de petit-déjeuner à lhôtel, mais on vous envoie vers un bistro crado ! Quant au concierge du matin, il faut lui préciser que lon ne parle pas aux clients comme à des chiens ! La courtoisie de laccueil est remise en cause par ce dresseur de molosses !

The rooms are old, partly smell of cigarette smoke. The location is okay, unfortunately it is right on a busy road, so it is very noisy at night.

Camera pulitissima.Ma arrivati alla sera alle 22 ci comunicano che mancava l acqua calda la ragazza e stata gentilissima e mortificata, Il Mattino dopo avevamo una laurea quindi doccia con acqua fredda.. faccio presente al proprietario il fatto e mi dice se vuole si può trovare un altro albergo.. la moglie molto gentile.. ma non ci tornerò mai più per il comportamento del proprietario

Dobre miejsce, żeby się zatrzymać. W pokojach ciepło (marzec), łóżko wygodne, łazienka super. Blisko różne sklepiki oraz małe bary z jedzeniem. Niestety dużym minusem jest płatna woda (a hotel szczyci się 3 gwiazdkami), brakiem szklanek w pokojach (jedynie plastikowe małe kubeczki). Te małe szczegóły bardzo psują odbiór tego sympatycznego miejsca.

The hotel is conveniently located at about 5 minutes walk to city center and about 15 minutes to Citta Alta. The rooms we got were located downstairs, in something that looked like it was a garage before and was transformed in rooms. This would have not been a problem if the bathrooms were cleaner. Although at first sight they looked clean, there is plenty of mold on the ceiling and on the walls in the bathroom and you can feel the smell if the door is open.Another problem is that before breakfast, which opens at 6:30, there is no-one at the reception. I wanted to grab a coffee at 6 AM, as we had to go before breakfast, but there is no possibility. Also, i got out to smoke, and could not enter anymore, because the doors do not open from outside before receptionist wakes up. I would not return to this hotel anytime soon.

The hotel is neat .The rooms are big and comfortable. The receptionist is very nice and kind. But the breakfast is not worth , a very less varieties .

This hotel is wonderful! The interior is interesting and cozy, many beautiful paintings hang. The price is not so high in comaparison with what you get. Breakfast is simple but tasty. In addition, we were lost with no accomodation in late late evening and the man at the reception was superbly friendly, communicative and comforting. Our regards!! The place is a true gem in this little city.

Nice hotel near the train station!!

weird. Annoyed us as all staff with very poor english, one girl that worked in the evenings was good, others weird. I mean not bad hotel, tasty breakfast and so on, but in general I did not liked it. We will defo come back to Bergamo, but will.not stay here again.

Perfect place to stay

Staff are very bad, not friendly. Theyre throwing you out of the hotel. Not a neat hotel! The rooms very small! Very old hotel!

I had just one night in this hotel.+ The stuff was very nice and helpful. The breakfast is good, I recommend it(keep in mind you have to go out in order to reach the location of the breakfast which is on top of the building; nice view over the old cityThe rooms are spatious and clean. The inside decorations are really nice.- you can hear your neighbours and also the traffic.

Very dark room it only has one small window under a staircase.Beds were uncomfortable.Location is OK, but not great if you want to explore the old city.

What a experience.we got a smelly dark room with one small window towards a highly trafficked road and the railway just outside.and the refrigerator did not workwe decided to cancel the room and was met with "I have to check with my boss if you want to leave" - then we got YES, but got no refund but the breakfast we payed for in advance.two stars, €105, fan in roof, 4 bedsstay away from this crummy hotel
