Hotel Residence Agnes in Prague

We had the most amazing stay at Hotel Residence Agnes. Frank and his team made our stay in Prague the most memorable out of the four countries we visited. The hospitality of the hotel staff is incomparable. The breakfast is amazing, the best we had in Europe. Frank was there getting you coffee in the mornings and again in the evening for a night cap after a day of touring. The location is on a quiet street but very accessible to the sights. I would recommend anyone who has Prague on their itinerary to book a room at Residence Agnes as soon as possible!

The rooms are clean and comfortable in a beautiful historic setting. The service is fantastic! Breakfast is a beautiful buffet and they will make omelets for you or cook your eggs any way you want them. The staff is extremely helpful and treats you like a valued family friend. They will sit down with you and go over your map providing helpful suggestions for your day. Whenever you come back from somewhere, they offer you a beverage and invite you to sit and relax. This is not a night time party hotel. It’s a lovely, historical family owned hotel with excellent service! I would make it my first choice in Prague.

Exquisite hotel in Prague. Centrally located for walking to everything; old town, new town, and lesser town. The staff here are superb! We experienced a room with fantastic comfort even on a sofa bed! Evening was clean and fresh! We were heated multiple times daily by different staff and served warmly we get time! They have a wonderful European breakfast in the morning with ample drinks of anything you want from water, Coke, coffee of many kinds, tea, beer, and wine! The shower and bathrooms are perfect and sizeable. We can not say enough good things.

Book this hotel NOW! This service was the absolute most amazing. They help each guest come up with a customized itinerary and help with everything! Free drinks, beer, wine water 24/7, breakfast, shuttle rides! The rooms are super comfy and the location is perfect. Family owned. It was the highlight of our 2 week trip.

We loved the hotel. Loved, loved the staff. They went above and beyond our expectations. The location is great, we were in the center of the city, and everything was within a short walk. The staff and particularly Frank drove and picked us up from restaurants and the train station.Every time we came in they were ready to serves us wine, coffee, water etc ( on the house). We stayed in many hotels throughout the years, we never felt as good as in this hotel.

Can I give 10 stars? 😄 Because this Hotel absolutely deserves it.Let’s start with communication: Before even arriving in Prague we asked if we could reserve a car park which was handled quickly and friendly.The check-in procedure was one of the best we’ve ever experienced. Even some of the upper class places we’ve stayed at (5-star $4000/nightcan learn a thing or two from this check-in. From the welcome drink in the charming hotel lobby, to the individualised information and recommendations you get, to the fantastic staff – they know how to make you feel welcome.Probably the most notable part was the constant supply of free drinks. Whether on arrival, at 3AM after a night out, or when you just want to pop out to the car – you get asked if you want a drink at all times – and we LOVED it!Free wine, beer, water, fruits… even after checking out we were asked multiple times if we wanted to take anything with us.The rooms are spacious and quiet. The lobby atmosphere is very smart casual, and it’s very easy to find yourself in conversations with other guests. Overall the entire experience felt very exclusive.My partner and I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Prague. It’s very affordable for the service you get, and we will most definitely come back to stay here.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Residence Agnes for a week in July 2022. It was one of THE BEST hotel experiences weve ever had. We cant say enough good things. We were greeted warmly by the entire staff: Frank, Natali, Alena, Viktoria, Lenka, Štefan, Lukáš, and Bishi. Area recommendations with directions, mini-Czech language lessons, complimentary beverages and ice cream, courtesy drop-offs, and so much more. The location is very walkable to many tourist attractions, restaurants, and shops. The room was very comfortable, the shared public areas were clean and nice, a beautiful breakfast with homemade goods was enjoyed every morning - I especially loved the vegetarian quiche. Highly recommend staying here. We were sad to leave and would definitely stay again if ever back in Praha. P.S. Dont forget to tip generously for the excellent service!

I cannot begin to describe how much my husband and I adore this hotel! I agree with the other reviews that the service and hospitality is second to none. They thought of every single detail to make our vacation as wonderful and stress free as possible. To start, they arranged for a driver to pick us up from the train station. They also provide complimentary car rides to attractions and complimentary drinks and water in the lobby. They gave many wonderful suggestions for attractions, tours and restaurants as well as great suggestions for currency conversion. They provide in house laundry service. The breakfast buffet was very impressive with a wonderful variety of food and beverages. Youll definitely want to try an omelet! In summary, the service at this hotel is what all other hotels will be judged against in the future. We would definitely stay here in future visits to Prague!

I stayed at this hotel for two nights in July 2022 and cannot say enough good things about it. The staff were all over-the-top incredible, anticipating your every need. Upon arrival, you are greeted with a complimentary beverage and will be shown multiple rooms from which to choose depending on availability. They will arrange whatever you need, from taxis to use of their own driver to off-hours breakfast. When my ride arrived during the middle of breakfast, they not only informed me that the ride was here, but asked if I wanted to pack a to-go bag and/or take a beverage for the road. 12 hours later, when I got back to the hotel, the same lady was working a bit past the end of her shift but still made sure to arrange a taxi for me to the airport the next morning, knowing that I had an early flight out. The rooms were also very clean and you might be surprised with a tasty treat or two on your bed. Thank you for making this stay one of the best!

Great location and nice accommodations. But the reason for the 5 stars was the best customer service I have ever experienced at a hotel. The staff was just lovely. They went out of their way to make our stay an enjoyable and memorable experience. We will definitely be back!

Pretty amazing this is a 5-star with 600 reviews, but it is very well deserving. The service is at the very top of the shelf and they pay attention to every detail! We loved our stay and found the rooms to be very comfortable, breakfast to be full of amazing food and a beautiful area inside the hotel that fits the Prague mold perfectly!

Best service I have ever received from a hotel. Staff are all super friendly, super talented, funny and approachable and will try and fulfill any requests. I even had an iron board brought up with an iron straight away after calling reception. Always someone to help and many great benefits including the amazing breakfasts and complimentary drinks and service. Staff speak multiple languages and are great at communication. 24 hour reception and they don’t mind helping in any way if you want to stay out late, plus staff provide great recommendations for activities and a complimentary shuttle ride to the castle. Would recommend to anyone visiting Prague and worth every cent paid!

Best hotel experience my fiance and I have ever had! Immediately as we walked through the door Klara and the owner Frank treated us like family. We were pleasantly welcomed with our choice of alcoholic beverage, snacks, and a sandwich that Frank especially bought for us from the nearby butcher. We experienced challenges with our travel plans near the end of our stay, so Stefan graciously helped us book our new transportation and provided free sandwiches, water and paid for our Uber. We cant speak highly enough about the staffs kindness and hospitality. We will definitely be returning!

If I begin writing of the kindness, service and many other things the staff provides, I will have to write an essay! Simply the best, starting with pick ups; drop offs, complimentary wine; beer (through out the day!!!- UNLIMITED; water, tea, coffee, ice cream, snacks and much, much more. My wife asked for desert, they had it available in 2 minutes (complimentary). I was looking for cigar shop, they drove me to a cigar shop and then to the train station (again complimentary). I wanted a simple local restaurant, Frank, the manager, walked with me and got the table during rush hour. This is a little boutique gem hotel in the center of Prague. Very conveniently located among many eateries and other attractions. 10 minutes stroll to Charles Bridge. Besides other beautiful buildings and sites in the city of Prague, this place will satisfy your travel. When I plan to return, it will be only Agnes Hotel!!! Thank you for making it so satisfying and pleasant !!!

This is an amazing hotel. All the staff are helpful and nice. The customer service is 10/10. I read most of the previous comments about the customer service and I can say all of them are true. They go above and beyond to make you happy. They provide free rides to the places nearby. The hotel staff provide recommendations for sight seeing visits. Breakfast is great with variety of foods. The rooms are also clean. This is best hotel that I have stayed in Europe.

Evertything was excellent, but the staff and owner make it beyond excellent! We dont have enough words to describe it, you have to experience it by yourselve.They make time for you, think with you to visit the city, offer great service such as their own transport to get you at the best places in the city. A good choice from the owner to offer this. Breakfast excellent with own pasterie, and in a nice calm place in the city, nearby all the things you want to see. Tomorrow we have to leave, but when we ever visit Prague again we hope to return to enjoy the kindness of Elena and all the friendly staffmembers!

Its the best hotel Ive ever seen. The staff is amazing. The welcomed us like Ive never been welcomed before. They made us feel very comfortable from the moment we stepped in. A parking space was ready for me, they invited us to have a seat and to drink something immediately. They told us very precious advices about Prague and about the best spots to see and best restaurants in the city. The room was perfect. The breakfast was amazing. Its litteraly the best hotel experience of my life. No hesitation guys.

I dont think there are words to explain just how great Hotel Residence Agnes was. From airport pick up (highly recommend - it felt like a private tourto a glass of wine waiting on arrival for us, which then quickly turned into three. Everyone made us feel so welcome, especially the wonderful Elena! The hotel room was compact but had great touches, bathroom lovely and the location was literally three streets away from the main square. What really made the difference was the attentiveness of the staff - nothing was too much. You couldnt walk through the hotel without being offered a glass of wine or beer, if you were hungry theyd offer to prepare something for you, the owner even dropped us off at a market on our final day. Id never stay anywhere else in Prague, and would recommend to anyone.

I rarely write a review, but have to take the time today because of how great of a trip that I just returned from. My family and I spent the weekend at the Hotel Residence Agnes. In the past, I have traveled extensively for work, up to 300 or more days a year spent in hotels at times. I have stayed at premier Hilton, Marriott, Disney, and other hotels sometimes with my family, but most times not. None of these other hotels compares to the hospitality, friendliness, care, and customer service provided by the Hotel Residence Agnes this last weekend. Everything from keeping a parking space close by for us (plus Frank and Lukas helping us park our rather large car), the personal escort to the restaurant reserved for us by the Hotel the first night, the private tour of Prague arranged by the Hotel with Alice (ask for her if you get the chance to go, she was great!), service at breakfast provided by Frank, Natalie, and Viktoria, and the exceptional treatment by all of the staff made me feel more like I was at home than traveling. The breakfast provided was truly exceptional with custom made omelets as well as other hot and traditional European breakfast options. Top all of this off with the reception when returning to the hotel each time of coffee, tea, wine, water, and other beverages as well as their willingness to let the six of us take over the breakfast area the second night for family game night. I honestly can not say enough good things about our stay.Im looking forward to my next opportunity to visit.

So, this was by far the best hotel experience ever. The customer service is at another level here. Every single staff member treats you like you are part of the family. They sit down individually with you upon arrival, pour you wine/beer/ coffee (whatever your heart desiresas they check you in and tell you all about Prague and where to go. Heck, they even have a driver that will drive you where you want to go if you dont want to walk. Bkfst was included and the DRINKS 🍷🍺☕ were pretty much all inclusive to my surprise. Rooms were nicer in real life than even the website shows. Perfect stay, I cant thank the staff enough. Do yourself a favor and book this hotel. Location is great as well. You will NOT regret your decision.

Cleaness, breakfast, services, size of the room, calm, etc ... I really have no negative points in mind and I will remember this place. If I ever go to Prague again, I will go to this place again, even If I usually like to change.

Hotel Agnes is a beautiful hotel with the nicest staff. My boyfriend and I stayed there for 5 nights during the holidays and we absolutely loved its prime location in Old Town. It was so easy to walk everywhere from the hotel. Thank you again to the staff for such a lovely stay!

Friendly staff who treats your like a family since the first minute, amazing breakfast, the most comfortable bed you’ve ever slept on, complimentary drinks & taxi around Prague… plus perfect location right in the heart of Prague’s Old Town. I can only suggest to leave the staff (who are one of the nicest and kindest people you can meeta nice tips before you leave (it’s not expected by any means but it’s just a super nice thing to do!!)I thought that I would never say this about a hotel but… we truly cannot wait to be back and say Hi to everyone! ☺️p.s. thank you for the gingerbread heart for my birthday!

Highly recommended boutique townhouse, with a unique charming and intimate ambience in their 22 refined, and quiet rooms. While low on facilities, the hotel offers a wonderfully professional and personalized service. Though simply decorated, theres an air of natural elegance to the rooms. Furnishings and fabrics are good quality, theres a decent amount of space and the street-facing windows allow in plenty of daylight.The only meal to be had here is breakfast, which takes the shape of a fairly expansive buffet (hot and cold dishes like homemade pastries, pancakes and waffles, fresh juice served in a pleasant ground-floor room near the hotel entrance.

Impeccable service made our stay in Prague EVEN more memorable and incredible! The staff were so friendly and helpful. Recommended great local spots, helped us in getting registered for COVID testing to get back into the US, and were always treating us to beverages and snacks.Our room was perfectly sized, with fresh flowers and cookies from the neighboring gingerbread shop.Great complimentary breakfast.The hotel location is centrally located, perfect for checking out all of the sites. The building itself is so charming and well renovated, it was historically a horse stable.Wish we could give more than five stars! The staff went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome and that our time in Prague was perfect.

Not enough stars to say how good this stay was. You get good conversation, a smile and offer drinks every time you pass by the lobby. As friendly as it gets, highly trained personnel in hospitality. Good in languages. Everything is super clean, super good location. Definitely would recommend anyone without a blink.

Everything went exceptionally well. Starting with the first message that I sent just before the actual reservation asking how the parking is going to work since we were coming by car. The location of the hotel being in the old town this could have been be tricky, but with the permit that was issued for us, we parked in the blue zone, hassle-free. Parking issue aside the hotel and staff was the real surprise. Starting with the english language correctly spoken, all the way thru the delightfull breakfast containing real home made pastry and cookies.Everything could be summed up in two words: exceeded expectations. Each time we came in or went out, the staff (not one, but all of themwere extremely welcoming, asking if they could help us somehow or offering us a beverage. We even got vouchers with significant discounts for important spots or events in the city. The cherry on top of the cake was when the manager drove us in a rainy morning directly to the cable car station from where we started our tour to the Prague Castle, offering us something that could easily be named a private tour with explanations along the way.Ok, sometimes I tend to be extra generous with words, but this stay was a real surprise and I warmly recomend this hotel not only for its great location, but for all the things encountered that made us sorry too be leaving.Thank you again "Residence Agnes" !

Believe all the wonderful reviews about this hotel! The staff picked my husband and I up from the train station and dropped us off upon check out. They offer you a ride to wherever you want to go (complimentary service too!). Location was great - centralized and you can take the trams & buses everywhere easily. Breakfast was also superb every morning. Room was nice - very clean which is super important during these times. Clean towels and sheets everyday. My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely choose this hotel again when we come back to Prague! I can only suggest to leave these folks a nice tip in the end for their wonderful hospitality and kindness!

We spent a couple nights here and it was a wonderful stay where Prague showed itself from its best side with stunning warmth, little crowds and plenty to see. The hotel did not disappoint. The staff from the moment of booking until after checkout went the extra mile for the guests. This is probably the best service I have gotten on any hotel where you feel that it is genuine. Everything was perfect. The room was dark and cool during nighttime with no sound bothering us. Breakfast was good, and there were always extra options here. Management, staff and night clerks were awesome with tips and with small thing like coffee and glass of wines. Overall a masterpiece of hotel and staff. I would highly recommend any to choose this hotel. Oh, and did I mention that both rides, that the hotel arranged, to and from the airport worked as a charm. It is hard in writing to express how wonderful the staff actually was, you really need to experience it yourself.

The hotel is located in the Praha 1, the city center and even has free parking spots.
