Hôtel Relais Tambacounda in Tambacounda

Pongo una estrella porque no se puede poner ninguna. Hemos tenido tormenta de bichos cayéndonos directamente de todas partes, sin poder aprovechar la zona exterior. Las dos noches tuvimos que pedir que limpiaran la piscina de bichos varios, incluyendo un sapo negro muy grande (hay foto).Lo primero que te encuentras al entrar en el comedor es una cucaracha negra, a la que sigue una variedad importante de otros bichos, de diferentes tamaños, colores y patas.La zona de la porticada alrededor de la piscina se pone indecente de bichos, de manera que cuesta pasar a las habitaciones, donde además, por cierto, no te encuentras mosquitera. Esos bichos que te encuentras en los pasillos terminan paseando por la habitación (nunca he matado tanto bicho en tan poco tiempo), y también por la cama durante la noche.El servicio, más que pobre. El buffet del desayuno no lo reponen salvo cuando insistes. Al día siguiente estaban las latas vacías de las consumiciones de la tarde anterior.Parece que no hay mucha opción alternativa en la zona, pero desde luego que sería el único motivo para volver.Las habitaciones: baño justito pero razonable. Cama cómoda, si no fuera porque no duermes sola (bichos, nuevamente). Abres el armario y ves moho en la pared..., sin palabras.Respecto a la comida, ya fue el colmo cuando me encontré un escarabajo de los que iba pisando por el suelo en los spaguetti..., nada más que añadir

je mets un bémol sur le service à la chambre car aucune bouteille d’eau pour se désaltérer. On se demande pourquoi même le frigo mini bar est installé dans les chambres. Pour un hôtel de cette dimension, c’est inacceptable

Been to this hotel many times passing through the country for business purposes.Pros:- Good dinner food.- Working AC.- Rooms generally clean.Get what you would expect from a hotel.Cons:- Dead and/or alive cockroaches and insects found in rooms most times I stayed at the hotel. Once found parts of a dead cockaroach in the folded up duvet in the cupboard.- No mosquito nets.- Shower is luke warm at best. Fine during summer but annoying during winter.

Lo mejor de la zona. Agradable, bien cuidado, cómodo. Buena atención. El restaurante también muy recomendable. Servicio rápido, no hay que esperar mucho a que salga la comida. Tiene piscina. El único pero es el desayuno, bastante escaso y las cosas se terminan pronto.

Very much spacious hotel just behind the road. Good swimning pool facility. Rooms are very spacious. Variety of food available here.

I stayed here for a conference, the rooms were nice and clean. The food at the restaurant was good and the conference space was nice. The pool and the grounds were nice. The location is not that great, since you are far away from the center of Tambacounda

Great location and clearly the best in Tamba by some distance it has a wonderful swimming pool and very airy rooms ... It is on the national highway connecting Dakar and has all major eateries of the city nearby...

Best hotel in Tambacounda.

Good place to expect at a country side, rooms are good and well maintained. You wont get AC remote in the rooms untill you ask for it. They wont provide comfortor/blanket untill you ask for. The restaurant closes by 10.00 pm though the bar is open for drinks till late night
