Hotel Real Plaza Aguascalientes in Aguascalientes

Hotel was very clean, nice and conveniently in the center of Aguascalientes, close to a lot of places for sightseeing... didnt get to see the pool, but I heard it is amazing....

This hotel in Aguascalientes city is good, the pool is in the top of the building with great views from the city, good place to stay and good prices.

The hotel looked good on photographs but the actual experience was different. All rooms have doors towards the inside patio, it means that if someone sneezes in the reception on the first floor you will hear it in your room on the 6th floor. A lot of noisy traffic on the side of the hotel facing the street and even the side that faces the opposing side is noisy due to the generators on that side.Stuff is not helpful. At 2 in the morning the group of people started checking in making a lot of noises. It was impossible to sleep. Appealing to the reception and asking them to calm people people down only led to reply it is normal for people to be noisy during the checkin, even at 2 am.The hotel room was so called i had to ask for a heater but the heater overcharged the room fuse and the room electricity shut off. Woke up shivering from cold and had to call maintenance.Didnt sleep practically that night.In the morning hotel representative called a taxi and he told that the trip would be 35-45 pesos. The taxi driver asked 70 when arrived, twice as much and the hotel representative just shrugged the shoulders and didnt intervene, not even a sorry.Quite a nightmarish stay.

The rooms were very clean, the WiFi was working fine, and the staff was very respectful and friendly

Really nice services, comfortable rooms and really cheap for a 4* hotel! As an European, I can definitely recommend the Real Plaza. If you want to be in the city centre and enjoy a good stay as a whole, you need to visit their polite services! I hope to return there one day!

No air-conditioning but nice

Hotel Is well located and has potential but reception staff not helpful. Gave us shadow side rooms (most sides have outviews except onefor many days and made it difficult to change. Breakfast is very good but no children price despite adv. Many choices and good coffee. Concierge very attentive.

Very nice hotel. People was very professional and friendly. Rooms and restaurant are very nice and clean.

The place lacks professional supervision in the rooms hygiene. The carpets are dusty and its clear they do not vacuum them at least every time theres a change of guests. There was garbage under the furniture like the bench and the chest. The covers of the beds did not look neat, they looked wrinkly like someone was lying on them before.

The beauty of the hotel and the cleanliness of the room are what saved this review. My husband is Mexican and even he was surprised that the beds are concrete platforms with a mattress on top. I have mild scoliosis and my back loved it, but neither he nor my children did. The room was always hot, even though we got an extra key in order to be able to keep the air conditioning running when stepping out briefly. Our room faced the street and the noise of motorcycles racing at night kept us awake. We were sure we had the windows open (yes they open in this hotelbut we did not. It was just THAT loud and we were on the 5th floor. It is an older property but the staff was fantastic and we enjoyed our breakfast here. We just got no sleep at all and for that reason we would not return.

Good and clean hotel. Has pool with a renovated look and a bar just aside. The rest of the venue is a little old but comfortable. Air conditioned rooms with acceptable TV system. The pillows are too soft but the bed is comfortable. Security for important stuff in safe box inside the room. Two blocks away from Aguascalientes Center at walking distance to Juárez Walking Street. Great for business people , English talking staff too. The cuisine is acceptable but not great a quite slow when asking for menu stuff. Buffet breakfast a bit expensive for the amount of different dishes.

Nice spot 5 minutes from downtown

Real Nice place. Well located hotel near a main Avenue in aguascaliente downtown. My room was very comfortable in kin sized bed. The window faced the Avenue. A little noisy in the night. Seems that it needs some cancelation noise windows.

Good hotel, located near downtown Aguascalientes, the room was really comfortable and the service was good enough. The breakfast and lunch had many options, and were tasty. Free WiFi, too!

Its a great placer to rest, and have a great time near downtown.

They had us wait for 2 and 1/2 hours to get into our rooms. Though we offered them clear proof that we had booked 2 rooms!! Finally we got 2 rooms with no apology. The rest of our stay was good, great staff and good food. Clean and comfortable.

The location is good. Rooms are comfortable. But a little bit outdated and the carpet really needs a deep cleaning. The rooftop pool is great. Prices are affordable.

This hotel is in the heart of Aquascalientes and is not for someone looking for an American style hotel. Nicely decorated and very clean and open. Staff is incredible, but that usually is the case for most of the big hotels in Mexico. Had a corner room with awesome viww of city. The room was a bit dated however.

Great place, super clean, looks like it has been recently renovated, excellent relation price/quality! Location, location, location only negative there was a youth reunion from the Rotary club and a bunch of noisy kids made it difficult to enjoy all the amenities! But thats not the hotels fault :/

Big old seventies style hotel built around a vast atrium with big rooms. Free parking on site. Theres no fridge and no kettle. But its otherwise adequate. Internet is patchy, you wont be able to stream your Google Home to the TV, put it that way... Safe area with Convenience stores in the gas station across the road, very walkable to the main city plaza and some decent modern eats, Google Quinto Barrio its a funky food court with bar and great variety.

Worth the price! Spacious, clean and good parking lot. The only cons are the smell of food early morning and the AC unit that was not cold enough.
