C. Pedro Antonio de Alarcón, 10, 18005 Granada, Spain, Granada
Set on a narrow, shop-lined street a 15-minute walk from both Granada Cathedral and the Parque de las Ciencias science theme park, this informal hotel is also 2 km from the Alhambra, a medieval palace complex.Featuring hardwood floors, the airy, simply furnished rooms come with free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs and minibars, plus room service.Amenities include a buffet restaurant and a casual cafe/bar, as well as a seasonal outdoor pool with a sundeck, and a squash court.
Very clean and comfortable hotel based near the city centre.Excellent jolly, friendly and helpful staff.Would definitely recommend.
Very helpful reception staff, Andrea.Only unfortunate matter was the pool is not level access on Floor 5, so unsuitable for disabled as a further 14 steps.
Okay, but on the low end for 4-stars. More 3 stars. Airco remains quite warm as it is centrally managed (24.5 degrees in our case). Rooms could be cleaner, but good beds.
Nice staff, clean rooms, location is also very good, walking to the centre and also quite at nights
This is an alright Hotel, but nothing special at all. I wouldn’t see it as a 4* Hotel though. The rooms are clean but not modern and the furniture not specifically anything special either. I do however recommend it hence the price was great therefore giving a good value for money. Also the parking is special, a car elevator, exotic and cool.
In the heart of town and staff are very polite and helpful but honestly its really old and needs big time work to renovate.
The first room we got was not clean, hairs in the shower, used contact lenses on the bedside table. We got a lot of apologies and a new room. Which was not clean again (used toothbrush in the shower).I would not recommend this hotel.
The hotel is located in a calmer area, around 10 min walk from the city center. We also used the hotel parking which was very useful (keep in mind that the car elevator is a bit small so big cars can have troubles). We had a problem with the first room and the reception changed it immediately with no problem. The room was nice, clean and spacious. Also the bathtub was nice to use. We took the buffet breakfast (ordered at the reception for 8e/person for a better rateand I was positively surprised about the variety and quality as there were some medioca comments online from other guest. Generally I recommend the hotel and would come back.
Very noisy hotel. Everything the neighbors do in their room can be heard. The bathroom is old and the bath shower combination is worthless. Either pick a shower or a bath, but not both. That is a compromise you dont want to make.Parking is challenging when having a slightly bigger car. This because the car goes into a tiny lift via a very small entrance. So some driving skills are required.Location of the hotel is okay. Walking distance from all the highlights. The personnel of the hotel was very friendly and helpful. Please note: the pool is closed. Also the Gym is closed
Nice and comfortable hotel, located right next to the centre of Granada. Only downside is that we were given a room with two single beds instead of one double bed, even though we were staying as a couple in the bedroom. I would still recommend it if youre looking for a convenient place to stay in Granada!
A good location to use as a base for more picturesque visits. 20-30 minute walk up to the Alhambra, and views over Albaicin.Restaurants and convenience stores nearby. The rooms are adequate, but do not include tea/coffee making facilities. The beds are firm memory-foam mattresses and pillows. There is a small roof-top pool which is very cold, and it seems to be mostly shaded from the sun.The hotels restaurant was only used for breakfast on our visit, and served a variety of pastries, meats, fruits and cereal. The bar in the foyer was not open at all.Overall, this hotel was smart and clean, but Ive been in better, more accommodating, hotels with a lower star rating.
This is definitely not a four star hotel. Very Disappointing to me !
Good location next to the centre of the city. The rooms were fine and breakfast good. Would have liked tea/coffee making facilities, but there is a small cafe/bar on the lobby.
Definitely a 3 Star and not a 4 star! The pictures are extremely misleading, as they leverage of printed images and staging. The Hotel is quite dated and shabby.I had an initial issue with cleanliness of the room, which the staff sorted out thankfully. Other than that, the stay was pleasant.
I didnt feel like in 4 stars hotel, I would give unfortunately less stars. The room was small dark with view to the wall...
Typical modern city centre hotel. Location is ok for getting to the main attractions.
We had a very nice room.We experienced some difficulties with the wifi, andUnfortunately, it was extremely difficult to get to the hotel. For some reason, the GPS kept sending us around and around. If you go there by car make sure to have a small or medium size car as the streets are narrow and cars are parked on both sides of the street.
Wouldnt rate it as a 4-star although very clean and the staff pleasant. No atmosphere in the lounge area, and the bar closed at 11:30 so guests couldnt get a night-cap.
Great hotel in centre of Granada, walking distance to all attractions. Rooftop pool perfect for some relaxation and good breakfast
Be careful!! Lock your luggage as you leave the room. I stole 100 euros.
I will be here, in hotel Corona de Granada, only two days. But Im very impressed by the interior of the hotel! At first - its pretty clean everywhere. The furniture is modern and new - its ergonomic and stylish. The rooms are big enough, theres space for everything you need. The bathroom is big enough too and theres also everything you need. I will not try the food and drinks in the restautant, but Im sure - everything there will be high quality, like elsewhere in the hotel. The pool on the roof of the hotel is impressing and marvelous for refreshing after a hot day. At last, but not at the last place - the hotels location is very good and almost every place you must visit in the town is close - by own walk or by bus (which has proper stop near the hotel).I didnt like two things - the glass door of the bathroom, which is not closing the bathroom at all. Its a private place and no sounds of using it must be heard in the rest of the room. And the other thing - I dont like to take a shower into the bath, its slippery inside. But these two things are quickly forgetable when you are enjoing your stay in hotel Corona de Granada.Im strongly recommending the hotel!
We are towards the end of a seven-day stay here, and are very happy we chose this hotel. The rooftop pool is lovely, and for our purposes, the location is ideal, close to where we need to be every day, and not right in the thick of things, but a short walk from the busy parts with narrow streets and bars and restaurants. The room is spacious and the cleaners efficient. Breakfast is very nice too. Just about to head down for happy hour drinks at the bar. We would stay here again without any hesitation!
Walking distance from city centre, rooms are good but didnt feel that welcoming feeling from the staff.
The hotel is fine. The rooms are small and the beds quite bumpy. The showers were fine but the wifi in the room is quite slow, or didnt work at all. Please note the elevator for the parking only works for cars up to 1700kg.
Rubbish internet in our room, our room number was 315. Also it says valet parking but it wasnt clear that it will cost you 17 euros a day. The breakfast was nice and rooms were clean hence giving it 3 stars
Our room shared a wall - the one behind the head of the bed - with a utility room of some sort. Banging and washing until 11, then starting again at 6am. The wifi did not work. The thermostat did not work. The room was clean spacious but very noisy and therefore uncomfortable. If they attempt to give you room 224 or 223 ask for a different room!
Within walking distance of town centre.Hotel clean , tidy and staff helpful. Breakfast buffet good.
A great place to base yourself in comfort whilst visiting the Alhambra and beyond.Breakfast a little boring if you stay to long otherwise great pool and sundeck on the roof.
Very pleasant clean comfortable hotel in convenient location lovely staff
Great stay on the hotel. The rooms are clean and spacious. It has a parking onsite incase you come with a car. The breakfast was very varied and tasty. Highly recomended.
Good hotel but rooms are too small. Swimming pool on the rooth is available for everyone.
Good rooms. Great shower In modern bathroom. Large beds. Bar service was excellent when it was open but if you turn up thirsty on a hot afternoon then you might find the bar closed with no explanation
Friendly staff and clean, comfortable bedrooms. Booking online cut the cost of parking in the hotel considerably. Breakfast is a good buffet with plenty of choice. Price was reasonable for what we got.
Great location, nice buffet breakfast. Rooms are nice side and the bar is great
Extraordinary hotel near Granada center. They have paid parking but if you dont mind walking a little bit you can park for free somewhere near. The staff is great and breakfast is even better. The room is about 16sqm,clean, big TV, and the bathroom was really big and modern. We really enjoyed our stay.
Well centrally situated.only had breakfast which was a good buffet. Bar in lounge.rooms ok but not great.nice roof pool
The bedroom and bathroom in terms of space are good, the only issue is that the walls are thick and you can hear everything. However, the bed is quite comfortable.
Nice hotel close to the centre about 10mins walk. Buffet breakfast and dinner of good quality. Comfy rooms, free WiFi.
This place is very clean and very beautiful inside however its in a not so great area far from city center. The beds were uncomfortable- I booked a double for my boyfriend and I, and we got a room with two twins pushed together. There is a nice pool and roof patio but it closes at 8pm so we didnt get to enjoy it after a day of exploring the city
Good city hotel. Breakfast buffet very good especially the freshly squeezed orange juice.
This is a good hotel but it is quite a walk from the main part of Granada. Our room was clean and well furnished but the window looked out onto air-conditioning units and ventilation shafts. The breakfast buffet was good.
The breakfast here is abonimable. The street facing rooms are incredibly loud in the early morning (0300-0700). This is a sick hotel. If you use the AC it will give you a sinus infection and cause you to cough and wheeze. The open window is louder, but who wants to catch whatever legionnaires disease their ac is pumping out. I think they need some new air filters. Otherwise it is a prime location, plenty of restaurants, close to the cathedral and the monastery. You could get a ride to the Alhambra pretty easily from here.
Great value. Clean rooms, good breakfast. Not in the centre but nothing is that far away in Granada
The hotel is in a perfect location in the city center. The room was clean and confortable. The food of the restaurant is good but you have a lot of places around to eat cheaper. In conclusion is a very good hotel to stay in Granada.
It looks nice, the location is OK, but some things were backwards: like how the bathroom didnt have a fan.
A good hotel but be sure to request a room off of the street. The first night we stayed in a room facing the street and it was so noisy, we had to request to move.
Overall good experience, nice staff, clean rooms and well located. A few disappointing aspects for the price and category: 1the bathroom door is almost non-existing, leaving very little privacy 2the rooftop pool is ugly and not well maintained (dirty, fake grass, and walls all-around).
I attended a seminar which was held in a lovely conference room. We also had drinks and snacks in the restaurant area. Service was great and the building was beautiful, spacious and elegant.
Very user friendly from point of view of the disabled! They provided a very good meal for the Parkinsons Associations Xmas lunch at a reasonable price. But dont be put off that doesnt mean its full of zimmers and sticks because its not, its all done very tactfully and discretely. There were about 80 of us and the waiters managed the many courses of canapés etc very well and since the main courses had been preordered they arrived at the right temperature.
Very modern, clean and friendly hotel. Great location in central Granada while still on a quiet side street.
