Estuvo buenísimo y por un precio muy muy muy accesible.Wifi, aire y cable, no probamos el desayuno pero había café, bizcochitos y algo másPara pedir comida de noche por PedidosYa tenés de todo, en lo personal pedimos un local que estaba a 6 cuadras y fue todo riquísimo.Super recomendado

LA PEOR DE LAS EXPERIENCIAS. La zona es terriblemente insegura pero hasta el momento de llegar todo parecía aceptable, hasta que por la noche nos retiramos para ir a comer algo dejando las lámparas prendidas y todo absolutamente cerrado. Al regresar, nos encontramos con todas las luces apagadas y la puerta del balcón abierta. Claramente alguien había ingresado a la habitación sin ningún tipo de aviso. Nos imaginamos lo peor, todo parecía sacado de una película de terror. Terminamos retirándonos a primera hora del otro día, no recomiendo para nada! Preferible gastar un poco más y sentirse más cómodo y seguro en otro lugar.

Lugar aconchegante, rústico, vintage. Prédio antigo muito bem conservado. O elevador é uma atração, do século XIX e funcional. Equipe do hotel muito solícita. Localização excelente, com mercado, cafés, casa de cambio próximos. Muito perto do teatro Solis e da livraria Más Puro Verso, que é belíssima, e a 1km do Mercado do Porto. E o melhor: barato!! Recomendo a quem quer sair, ou não tem necessidade, do circuito de hotéis comuns

Excelente lugar. Muy buena atención y sobre todo tranquilo. Habitaciones limpias y cómodas. El ascensor antiguo le da un toque interesante a la estadía. No hay servicio de buffet pero ofrecen biscochitos, café, leche y té para desayunar y está muy bien. Además, se encuentra en un muy buen punto. Starbucks está justo al lado además de otros muchos puntos de interés como el teatro Solís. Las paradas del ómnibus estan muy cerca también.De ser posible quedarse en la habitación 66 ya que tiene un balcón con una vista panorámica espectacular. Esperamos hospedarnos allá de nuevo pronto.

Es un magnífico lugar para descansar, su servicio, sus habitaciones y camas son muy geniales.

Very nice old hotel with refrigerator, heating and cooling and with a superb location in the old town. Clean rooms and linen. Good beds.Patricia was really friendly and made us feel at home.Light Southern European style breakfast/sweet and savoury snack and tea or coffee included all day.The only minus was a non existing sound insulation and on top of that loud Spanish room neighbours on European time, up all night. Earplugs are a necessity.

I was fine with the sketchy location. I was fine with the more than antiquated room. I was fine with everything until SOMEONE ENTERED MY ROOM AND TURNED OUT THE LIGHTS AND TURNED OFF THE HEAT WHILE I WAS NOT THERE. I leave the lights on because as a single female traveler, I do not like entering dark, unknown spaces at night. Also, this room is freezing, so I left the heat on to be make the room bearable. Both are totally unacceptable. I will be leaving this hotel immediately tomorrow morning and going a hotel that is more secure.

We loved this hotel. The rooms could be a little tidier and the pillows definitely need to be replaced, but it is a beautiful old building in a great location. It was like sleeping in a museum.

Excelente relación precio/calidad. Me ENCANTÓ la ambientación antigua, es como volver al pasado.. El hotel está cuidado y bien mantenido. Habitaciones limpias, cómodas, con lo necesario. Buen caudal de agua caliente. El personal es muy amable. No tiene desayuno, pero te convidan café con alguna cosita. Recomiendo.

Muy buen ambiente, precio accesible y confortable.Ojo, en la habitación 46. Se supone que anda el cable y llega el wifi y no pude dar con ninguno de los dos.Ni la encargada pudo.Pero es un buen lugar más allá de ese detalle. Lo recomendaría para pasar la noche. 👍

El hotel está muy bien. Las instalaciones son muy lindas y el personal atiende muy bien. El desayuno flojo pero cumple con su función. La limpieza está bien y la ubicación es muy buena también. Precio acorde a el servicio ofrecido.

90 anos de história no coração de MontevidéuUm hotel simples, no centro da cidade, mas com serviço atencioso e com mais de 90 anos de história. Há quartos para aqueles que preferem o silêncio (os com varanda para os fundose para aqueles que querem acompanhar o ritmo da cidade (com janelas e varanda para a rua principal). Próximo ao Teatro Solis, a uma rua de pedestres e de vários pontos interessantes do antigo centro.Piso de madeira e móveis um pouco antigos, o que pode gerar alguns ruídos, mas, ao menos no quarto onde fiquei (40), não tive problema algum com isso. A água esquenta rapidamente e há secador de cabelo. Quartos sempre limpos.🌟 Para ganhar a 5ª estrela: um café da manhã seria uma boa adição, ainda que simples.

Lugar excelente para quem busca menor custo. Bem no centro, próximo de inúmeras atrações. No entanto, nos disseram ser uma zona insegura para sair caminhando à noite (principalmente em direção ao porto, fomos ao teatro Solis e foi tranquilo). Durante o dia é bastante movimentado. Diria que a região é bem similar ao centro de Porto Alegre (escurece e fica vazio e perigoso). Nos recomendaram deixar o carro num estacionamento próximo, mas devido ao custo preferimos deixar nas vagas em frente ao hotel que tem câmeras de vigilância e deu tudo certo (3 noites). No último andar tem um terracinho que é um charme no final da tarde/noite. O elevador também, muito lindo. Recomendamos para viajantes que querem uma experiência mais cultural, sem luxo.

Fantastic no frilz stay. A beautiful old school elevator will bring you to your floor. The staff is super friendly but like anywhere in Latam no one speaks English so bring your translator app. The wifi works well and the place was clean and very well priced.

Excelent location, at unbelievable and unbeatable price.great daily cleaning service, everybody is nice.Bedroom for two its a little too small, restroom is ok and the balcony its just to let air in basically dont expect much.

Cool and nice for the price. Bathroom is large. The balcony is to. Room is a little dated. But to be right in the middle of everything and quite is nice. Elevator is old school and pretty cool..

This is a very economical hotel located in a great place in Montevideo. It is old. The rooms are small. The staff is friendly and helpful. I only spoke with them Spanish so it might be harder if you only speak English. We had a room with a huge balcony. Water pressure was low, but the price cant be beat. I would stay there again. They will help you arrange tours to vineyards. It is located steps away from the pedestrian corridors that take you to the old city, market and rambla.

Super friendly staff, helpfull, knowledgeable and attentive, always around accommodating and caring. Always great coffee in the mornings with light snack. Very clean common spaces, luggage storage, with main floor guest bathroom. Safe, fridge and cableTV in room, great bathroom, comfortable mattress, huge terrace, great views, access to rooftop terrace, WiFi. Awesome safe location, plenty of mini marts neerby, lots of free venues in area, with pedestrian street right around the corner. Pubs Restaurants and Cafes withing a minutes walk, Formal and Casual dinning abound. You can always ask for more but very hard to beat this amazing Hotel and Location. My wife and I .... Loved it and highly recommend it....huge value for your money!

Stay here!!!! What a wonderful little hotel for such a fair price especially for an expensive city. Giant bathroom, comfortable bed, and even a nice balcony. They also have great local tips and provide maps.

Nice old charming hotel with 2 friendly old ladies running it. The location is great (right next the old townand the prices low ( we paid 36 USD). That said, the place compares more to a hostel - small rooms, old interior and a shower that takes 10 min before you can kind of use it - but in a „charming“ way. I recommend to get one of the 2 rooms on the 6th floor if possible as they have balconies with views. We could hear the noise from the street and our bed wasn’t 100% clean but all in all slept well and enjoyed our stay (especially for the price).They don’t offer breakfast , only coffee.

Really nice old hotel with a lovely old fashioned ascenseur and nice owner and staff. My room was I bit small but adeguate.

The rooms are not big but comfortable, you can easily hear other guests talking outside.

If you want to be right in the center of the old town and still be save (further more down into the old town it really gets dangerous after dark and especially on weekendsand live in a cute, old, well maintained building, this is the place for you!Buen lugar en la ciudad vieja, no demasiado en la parte peligrosa, buen ubicado, recomendada.

We had a very warm stay in this little hotel in old downtown Montevideo. Although the place is not alive at night it is excelently located and the staff is very regardful. Highly recommended.

A timewarp but a good value spot, excellent location, friendly Asturian owner AND a gigantic private patio with decent views over some of the surrounding buildings if you get one of the rooms at the top
