Hotel Orchid in Pokhara

We had a great time at the Orchid Hotel, came back from a week of trekking and the staff was really helpful ... the main person at the reception went beyond our expectations helping with advice and also booking our bus tickets. Great place to stay ! 5 Stars ...

Amazing service. Staff is very helpful and friendly (helped us with airline problems and money exchange). Great location; walking distance to main street and attractions. Laundry service available next door. Rooms are ok. Certain offer an amazing mountain view. Food is ok. Very limited options for vegans, even for breakfast.

Beautiful room but lacked wardrobe and any table as per 4person room.Awesome location, stunning view from top floor.

Amazing stay in Pokhara !!Very well located close to the lake-side and to many restaurants and shops.We had a room with mountain-view and balcony that allowed us to appreciate some incredible sunrises.It was clean and taken care daily.Hotel staff were really welcoming and helped us with all our inquiries.I will definitely recommend it!! 10/10

Lovely hotel in an excellent location. Rooms are spotless and cleaned daily,I really loved the beautiful morning view of the Himalayas and sunrise from our room.Easy access to nearby markets and we had great breakfast,especially Tibetan breakfast. So looking forward to visit again whenever I got chance to visit Pokhara.

Went by reviews, but quite disappointed. Was really worried about the overall ratings awarded by the TripAdvisor, displayed on the frames proudly on the walls. May be it was years ago but it carries no more that past glory! Average rating suits it. Location is peaceful and staff were caring, friendly and ever ready to help, but this does not suffice. Breakfast wasn’t good. The so called hotel needs serious renovation. Locks, doors, toilets etc. needs intensive repair. Hot water was instant and room cleaning was upon request. Overall stay was pleasant!

Well equipped rooms with modern facilities like fridge, wardrobe, desk and all and again with spectacular view of snow capped mountain range, lake and cityscape.

Overall good experience as i stayed there for a week. Good food wifi and services. Good privacy and they let u be. A bit shy on the housekeeping but not enough to hamper ur stay

The rooms are good with all needed services. You need to inform beforehand if you want to have dinner. Overall the hotel is good for the stay. The room services is good and the staffs are helpful and understanding.

Excellent hospitality. very clean and conveniently located to shopping and dining and entertainments. stayed here a few days on the way to ABC in Sept 2019. The manager Janak Karki is a wonderful host. He goes out of his way to genuienly make sure your stay is pleasant.the only thing that still puzzles me about this place though, is my bathroom had a bolt on the outside - why? see pic.

Amazing helpful staff always friendly, have great conversation with the guys behind the desk, even went out of their way to help us find somthing we left in the room. Had an amazing veiw from our balcony. Will definitely visit again next time we visit

Amazing experience!! From the moment we walked into the door we were kindly greeted, were into our rooms quickly which was a great feeling after spending 7 hours on a bus. Hot Hot water, comfortable beds, great breakfast options, and a view of mountains to die for. The manager Bijay is perfect at his job! He helped extend our stay, plan day trips and excursions with a breeze. Very knowledgeable with bus schedules out of Pokhara and even hooked us up with a great hotel in our next city we were going to. I even left a jacket at another hotel in Kathmandu and he is willing to help send it back to me in the USA. Hotels all around the world should strive for this sort of excellence and service!!! The hotel was well located and easy to find. It had reasonable WiFi and backup generators so you are never without lights. The front garden was a nice, peaceful place to chill.The hotel room was very clean and came with a hot and powerful shower. The staff were extremely helpful - they helped us book taxis, organized our bus tickets back to Kathmandu and Bijhay went out of his way to help when my friend was ill. I would stay here again...

Went by reviews on mmt. But disappointed. Nothing more than a guesthouse. You can get better hotels at same price nearer to Lake with view. Breakfast was average, served boil potatoes and calls them hash browns.

A reasonably priced hotel with comfortable accommodation and lodging facilities. The hotel is close to lakeside and offers good fooding. It has received stellar reviews and has received hospitality awards. The best part is the comfortable rooms and nice garden.

very close to the lakeside and walking distance from most of the popular bars and restaurants one would want to visit near the lake side. Views from room are decent and the people are very courteous. But the food is pathetic , kitchen staff is very lazy,out of standard according to the Hotel.🙏🙏

Vulgar and abusive people. Did not provide hot water on repeated questioning. And when asked whether they would reduce the price for the abmismal service they asked if we ask everything for free in India

Clean and comfortable rooms friendly staffs, good food and near from the lake side. Just be little tricky, your AC may go off in the midnight. If so, don’t hesitate to call the staff even in the midnight. Enjoyed my stay even with small baby.

Nice hotel with good location and owner mr janak is very helpful. Breakfast is good and rooms have mountain view also it is a budget friendly hotel. In a nutshell this hotel is value for money.

We found this place searching through the internet and we really werent disappointed. What you get for the price is pretty amazing. We had one of the Mountain View Rooms which really lived up to the name. Awesome views straight from your window. Also had the Breakfast in the Mornings which was very good especially as I got it with the room when I booked. Bijay at the front desk was very helpful in organizing different things to do during the day. Also good for organizing your return journey back to Kathmandu or wherever you plan to go. Service was excellent and everyone at the Hotel made it a very relaxing experience! Highly recommended if you want a clean place for a reasonable price!!

Good hotel in Pokhara Nepal. Situated near lake side. The staffs are very nice. Its having mountain view rooms where u can see the northern Himalayan range in ur window in the morning. Its an awesome view. Food here is also good. It doesnt have lift. Overall it was a nice stay.

The Hotel is located within 500 M from Phewa lake. Rooms are Reasonable with all basic facilities. Breakfast has very limited fixed choices . Staffs are polite but not professionaly trained. Overall a basic hotel with good location.

Except electricity problem all others things were quite good.The hotel didnt have their gender as is the case with many hotels in Pokhara.An average hotel , moreover there are many better options near Phewa Lake.

Orchid Hotel in Pokhara makes us comfort with the athmosphere of Pokhara. we Loves the room and services are good. They have a garden with flower that will make you feel fresh and peace from noisy Kathmandu. We had a tasty breaakfast and they help us to find public transport and made as a good deal for the cost. If you plan for trekking, of course you can entrust half your stuff here. It safe. Thank you Orchid Hotel :For sure, we will back again one day!

Awesome hotel with great view of pokhara valley. Very welcoming and generous staff. Rooms are well decorated with great view. Garden restaurant is also nice. Food is ok with decent pricing. We enjoyed our stay in this hotel and definitely will plan to come again.

Very clean rooms and super friendly staff. Decided to stay here 3 nights. Theres separate free wifi on every floor. Beautiful garden to drink tea at in the morning. Hot showers.

Quite comfort to live but not foods are not good for my tastes. Especially not good Nepali Thali and Chicken Fry. But, there was mediocre breakfast (free with room charges).

We really enjoyed our stay here, and I will definitely stay there again when I return to Pokhara. The room was very comfortable with private balcony & splendid mountain view, and the AC and fan worked well (a major plus, since we were there in August!The bathroom was clean, with consistent access to hot and cold water. We arranged several activities through the hotel front desk to various tourist attractions like paragliding,Day hike to Dhampus village, Sarangkot and Devis Fall - the tours were reasonably priced, and the staff were very helpful. The hotel is located a few minutes walk from the main drag in . Nice quiet location & very big garden with lots of flowers & greenery.
