Hotel Olimpia in Florence

Hotel a tre stelle in una posizione eccellente. Davvero comodo raggiungerlo dalla stazione e come base per la visita del centro storico di Firenze, dove ci si può muovere liberamente a piedi raggiungendo tutti i principali punti di interesse. Per la posizione e il prezzo, consigliatissimo. Personale molto gentile e colazione buona. Abbiamo pernottato in una camera matrimoniale, ampia e confortevole. Peccato per il bagno, con servizi un po vecchi e una doccia improvvisata.

La struttura si sviluppa su più piani allinterno di uno stabile. Colazione discreta. Posizione eccellente a pochi mt da ponte vecchio.molto gentili e pazienti. arrivare con lauto allinterno della zona è un po complesso, comunque una volta arrivati si occupano loro di chiamare il garage che prende lauto e ve la riporta avvisando il comune di non fare la multa poiché ospiti da loro. Mi raccomando la mattina della partenza chiedete da subito lauto. Le stanze sono spaziose. Lunica pecca il bagno che ha una doccia al centro della stanza con una tendina e uno scarico al centro del bagno

Hotel in posizione centralissima e strategica, ottimale sistemazione per visitare Firenze avendo disposizione poco tempo per il soggiorno. Personale estremamente gentile e disponibile. Colazione onesta e abbondante. Camera comoda, stile retro, pulita. Bagno accettabile. Tenendo conto della posizione, lo consiglio.

The hotel was in a very good location, it was in the plaza, it was very close to restaurants & the tourist attractions. great location overall, great staff and great breakfast.

When you enter the building you must enter the vintage iron elevator for the 4th floor where the reception is located.Hotels location is the best!! Located in piazza della repubblica, you are close to everything by foot. Staff is very friendly and helpful to everything you need. There are 16 i think rooms. Rooms have kept their traditional character with old fashioned furniture and decorations, i dont mind that! Bathroom though should be renovated especially the "no tray" shower with slippery floor when wet. Air con works great! We even turned it off for the night! Breakfast was basic some sweet pastry, cake, pasta flora, small yogurts, bread, cheese and salami, cereals, milk, orange juice and water and coffee machine very satisfying.So 1 star minus for bathroom and another one for a sock my son discovered under the air con from previous guests.Warning!! dont call taxi for the train station!!Charged us 25euros!Would go back again cos overall rooms were clean and reception desk very helpful! Thank you!

The hotel is on the forth floor and the elevator is an old timey one that fits four people. This didnt bother me much. They had a wonderful breakfast with lots of treats. The rooms were very clean. One thing I thought was interesting was how the shower was not separated from the toilet or sink ( the water kinda went everywhereoverall, liked it here. So close to everything in Florence including the carousel. I would love to go back.

O hotel é bem localizado, levando os hospedes a terem que fazer apenas uma breve caminhada para chegar em qualquer ponto turístico da cidade. O seu café da manhã também é bom, contendo uma variedade aceitável de opções, máquina de bebidas e comidas deliciosas.A única coisa que nos decepcionou foi o nosso quarto. Ele se encontrava no terceiro andar (um abaixo da recepçãoe, quando entramos nele, percebemos suas falhas: não há frigobar, a tv ainda era de tubo e o banheiro, nossa principal decepção, era minúsculo e sem boxer, nos forcando a tomar banho praticamente sentadas no vaso e a molhar o banheiro todo.Mas, pelo menos, sua localização valeu a pena por tudo.

Basic, cheap and does what it says on the tin. No thrills, ideally located, just dont expect anything special.

The Hotel is in the heart of Florence and this is a huge plus. The Room was fine, but bathroom was really small and the shower in it hasnt a specific place. A simple but effective breckfast in the morning. Price is totally in accord with the aforementioned.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo albergo il week end del 10/11 Novembre 2018 e abbiamo prenotato tramite Booking.L’hotel è situato all’interno di un palazzo in pieno centro di Firenze a pochi metri dal Duomo e dagli Uffizi.Abbiamo prenotato una camera a tre letti: la stanza era bella spaziosa anche se arredata con mobili un po’ datati e il bagno era piccolo e la doccia non aveva il box ma solo la tenda di plastica e il flusso dell’acqua era con il “contagocce” … impossibile pensare di lavarsi i capelli.Il buffet della colazione era ricco di dolci (torte, brioche, pane fresco e fette biscottate di vari tipi, frutta sciroppata e yogurte qualcosa di salato (prosciutto cotto, formaggio). C’era il distributore di bevande calde e il bollitore con il caffè all’americana, acqua minerale e succo di frutta.Come giudizio complessivo posso dire che ci siamo trovati bene, il personale è stato molto cortese e disponibile e il buffet colazione ha più che soddisfatto le nostre necessità.L’unica critica che mi permetto di fare è che forse si potrebbe “rinfrescare” l’ambiente abolendo le piantine finte sui tavoli e magari regolare il flusso dell’acqua nei bagni che allo stato attuale crea qualche problema.

Location is perfect for a visit to Florence! You are a short walk from all of the biggest attractions.

The hotel is centralized directly in the heart of the city. The duomo is nearby and everything is super reachable. My room was large with good air-conditioning. Enjoyed the stay.

Amazing breakfast, great location, fantastic staff, decent rooms, okay wifi, sometimes the shower ran out of hot water.

Un bellissimo posto, ottima la posizione che consente di visitare con facilità il centro di Firenze. Larredamento fa molta atmosfera, la stanza in cui ho alloggiato era grande, spaziosa, dal soffitto alto. Letti comodi, sopratutto i cuscini, nulla da dire, ho riposato molto bene. Svegliarsi la domenica sentendo il rintocco del campanile di Giotto é meraviglioso, se poi ci aspetta pure una colazione fantastica come quella offerta é proprio il top💛

Lhotel è in pieno centro a Firenze, accanto alla galleria degli Uffizi il che lo rende una scelta strategica per spostarsi per la città. Le stanze sono pulite, il problema sono i bagni delle stanze davvero molto piccoli, tanto che la doccia è praticamente sopra il wc. Nota negativa anche la TV che non andava e il wifi che dopo un giorno ha smesso di funzionare. Consigliato solo per la zona

Lhotel si trova in una posizione comoda, le camere sono molto pulite, ma la struttura e gli arredamenti sono molto datati. Il bagno in camera è molto piccolo e la doccia praticamente inesistente: un "buco" nel pavimento con una tenda in plastica, il tutto quasi sopra il water. La colazione non è male, ma si tratta di dolci confezionati. A parte la scomodità della doccia (che per un soggiorno di pochi giorni non conta moltolhotel è in una posizione strategica e permette di raggiungere tutta la città e visitarla anche a piedi. Inoltre il personale è molto disponibile e attento ai bisogni degli ospiti. Quando tornerò a Firenze potrei anche scegliere nuovamente questo hotel.

Location is super in the very heart of Florence. Rooms are large with high ceilings.. bathroom was small not so good. Breakfast was good but not much variety for savoury food.. a bit expensive but its all about locations locations.

The hotel was dated, but very clean and functional. The breakfast included was decent for the price paid, with a number of different options. The air con was a bit loud and the was a major lack of bed side plugs, but the bathroom was well appointed. The bed was relatively comfortable and the provision of extra blankets was good.

The hotel was nice and the location was very convenient. However, the hotel was on the 3rd and 4th Floor of the building. The lift was ancient and resulted in having to walk 9-10 flights of stairs. The room was good. The bedroom was really big, but the bathroom was really small and narrow. The shower was not proper and consisted of a shower head and a shower curtain. The shower curtain bar fell down when someone was showering. The sink was small for washing clothes and the toilet sounded like a construction site.

Good location with very high ceilings. Unfortunately, thats where the positives end. Bathroom is tiny, toilet is in the shower and did not find the staff very helpful. You have to pay for wifi(expensive).Might be ok for students. We checked out early (no refund).

I stayed at the hotel. The room was dirty with a layer of dust on the tables. When I checked in with my partner I felt an incredibly hostel experience with the man that we checked in with. We also have to hand in our key everytime we leave. The rooms dont feel secure and the safes are not big enough to hold any thing. Its a shame because its a great location but between how the room smelled liked cigarettes the wifi cost 2.50 Euro an hour for only one device not multiple, and I had to buy flip flops for the shower because of how disgusting it was I can not and will not ever suggest anyone stay here. Honestly there is a lot more I can point out as well, such as the elevator breaking with us in it, and the shower just being a hose on the wall. But I dont think you will want to have to vivid a picture but honestly it felt worse brothel.

A good location smack in the middle of Florence with walking distance to everything. The rooms are high in ceiling and sparingly furnished. Breakfast is included and it the hotel personnel speak English.This is the kind of hotel where you stay for a good nights sleep, breakfast and head to explore!

Cheap hotel on 3 and 4 floors, thin walls, simple rooms, location is amazing, nice place to stay for couple of nights.

Location is excellent, hotel itself is pretty vanilla 3-star. Bathrooms are really tiny. You feel cramped as you do in an airplane restroom. Quite unlikely that I might consider staying here again.
