Hotel NH London Kensington in Andkhvoy

I regret not reading more reviews prior to booking as they did not deliver when it comes to comfort and cleanliness. Upon arrival I found hair, stains and small tears on our bed linens. The rooms are very basic and long overdue for a refresh. The beds are spring mattresses that are the most uncomfortable ever. I am a side sleeper and could feel every groove of every spring digging into my side. I did not get much sleep during my stay here.The on-site team is great and will surely make you feel welcome.Location can’t be beat - close to tube and can walk to so much nearby.

The staff is very very considerate. The hotels interior is charming - rooms included! Thanks to the whole team

Nice hotel, great staff, huge rooms.but to Chromwell Rd very noisy.no Toilet brush( disgusting)..Variety for breakfast average..Motel one Was better.sorry

Stayed here for 2 weeks. There seems to be an infestation of moths. Think they were coming through the ducts. Told reception twice but they didnt seem interested.

A wonderful 4☆ hotel in the heart of Kensington. The staff were exceptionally hospitable. They helped in whatever way they could, especially David. We really enjoyed our stay in spite of the covid pandemic.

Wonderful location, very quiet, warm environment, nicely decorated...Rooms are large and confortable. Bed is really confi.Reception attention was perfect.And the lady in the bar at night was really nice and caring.Didnt try the breakfast, as It wasnt included in my Booking, but surely worthy!Would definitely recomend It!!

The hotel is nice and staffs are fine. It’s just one thing here: They required £35 for deposit when we check in, and I paid £40 in cash since I only have two £20. They didn’t give me the change of £5 and I didn’t pay attention about it, I thought that’s how it works so I didn’t ask for receipt or asking anything. When we checked out today, they only gave me £35, I said I paid 40 but they told me to send an email to them and they’ll check the cameras if what I said is true. I don’t bother to chase this £5 back but it just feels not good to me.

Stayed for 5 weeks with our 2 dogs and the staff made us feel so welcome! Tina gave us an incredible deal for our long-term stay with parking included too. All of the team at reception were super friendly and helpful, always happy to chat and made an effort to make us feel like special guests. Plus, Ahmed at the bar was always nice to chat to over a lovely drink. The garden is a nice space and I’m sure would be especially nice in the summer. We were originally in a standard room which was fine but were kindly upgraded to a two-level suite on the first floor. It was ideal for us with plenty of room, a comfortable big bed and super quiet / dark for a good night’s sleep. The location is great - quick walk to Earls Court station and a nice variety of shops and restaurants in High Street Kensington and beyond. We were so sad to leave but will definitely be returning soon!

We stayed here a week ago for a couple of nights. It was a surprise choice as part of the lastminute.com Top Secret hotels deal. We paid £73 per night for a standard room (no breakfast). The location wasnt too far from Earls court tube station and was convenient to get into central London. The area itself had a vast choice of interesting eateries and amenities. The hotel has a nice lobby and restaurant area. The staff were really lovely and helpful. The room was a bit tired, but decent for the price. The room also had a fridge and tea/ coffee facilities.

3.5. Room was a good size. Price was great for the location. A little run down, bed not the most comfortable. Staff could’ve been more friendly. Only 1 towel in bathroom, a/c stopped working for a short time. It’s disappointing that staff don’t wear masks, but that seems to be a widespread issue in London.

This hotel stole my 💜 totally wasn’t expecting that. Five star service all around. Best team response I’ve seen from a hotel in a while - this even in in spite of being understaffed due to the pandemic. 😷 Breakfast was delicious! 🍳 🫖 Hot fresh options everyday. So delightful. The standard beds fell like small queens/full so be aware if you’d prefer a larger bed. Older hotel but well kept. Bus stops right out front and will deliver you to the nearest shopping district in under 10 mins. They offer free luggage storage and decent WiFi. Would recommend 10/10 experience.

We decided to give the hotel a try after finding incredibly inexpensive rates and decent reviews on this site.The location is slightly away from the tourist sites, but the low room rates definitely make up for it. Its a straight shot on the Piccadilly Line from Heathrow in 30 minutes or so. Piccadilly Circus is only 10 minutes on the same line, and the District Line gets you to Paddington in 10 minutes as well.We rather liked the local feel of the restaurants and pubs in nearby Earls Court. Tasty Japanese food at Kappa, Indian at Masala Zone, and the the Kings Head pub is fab.The lobby, restaurant, bar and lounge are nicely refurbished and the garden is lovely and peaceful. Youd never know youre so close to the busy Cromwell Road with the singing birds!Staff are excellent - cant do enough for you. Daily housekeeping is available on request, unlike some hotels, and the level of cleanliness is very good.The bedrooms are definitely past their prime, but decent enough, and that shortcoming is offset by everything else about the hotel. The air conditioning works, which isnt a given in this country.Would absolutely again.

My preferred hotel for London. The team was great here. Tina the manager and the evening helpdesk (forgot the name sorrywere so helpful. Very flexible with any request and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was great and so were the kitchen staff as well as the housekeeping staff. Excellent all round, thanks!

I would give -1 star if I could. Stayed here last weekend with my wife. The receptionist was extremely rude. She was angry I got there at 3 pm as per my booking. She checked me into a standard room although I paid for a superior room for the extra space and bathtub. I didnt notice at the time as I had an appointment so left my luggage in the room and returned later that night. When I queried the room but was lied to that it was a superior room. After looking at pictures online, another hotel staff came clean and said we were indeed given the wrong room but he couldnt do anything about it. This was very frustrating. To make matters worse, we were not put on the breakfast list so we had to go through the awkward bit with the breakfast/kitchen staff (palm on face). Very disappointing, considering I booked this hotel based on the good reviews I saw here.

Good location, but very few rooms with single beds. Apart from this all is great

I really liked the room, very clean, very spacious, nice view out of windows on city lights. I liked a little corner with a table and couch and chair where it feels very cosy to have some food or to have visitors.

Clean spacious room. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Convenient location. Good heating in hotel and room. Fluffy towels.

What an absolute gem of a find. We have just spent a last-minute getaway to London and we were lucky enough to find this amazing hotel.We are a family of 4 (2+2and this hotel provided a superb solution to our accommodation needs. We rang a day ahead of our stay to confirm the booking and the check-in process. The lady on reception (who I will come back to laterwas so friendly and attentive. She offered us early check-in and advised us on the best way to check-in and drop our car off in the car park.We arrived at the hotel the following day around 11:30 and as promised the room was ready at no extra cost and the car park was available. (we paid ahead for overnight parking, but we actually kept the car there for approx 30 hours at no added cost)The reception lady was so friendly and we instantly felt welcomed and settled. Over the period of our stay, she was extremely attentive and always welcomed us with a big smile.The room was unique in the fact that it had a mezzanine floor which had a sofa bed, toilet and TV. My kids thought it was superb, having their own little independent space and it benefited us later as we could watch our own TV downstairs after the girls had gone to sleep.Location wise, its perfect for the big museums (Natural History, A&V and Scienceand its a 10 min walk from Kensington High Street.An amazing find and we will be sure to book again, next time we come to London.Huge thank you!

People are great, location is convenient ( bus stops in front of the hotel and underground in short walking distancethe breakfast is phantastic ( and worth every penny- you have a big choice, there is continental stuff as well as English breakfast.. the only thing I would not repeat is to book a room with extra bed ( the price is great, but the bed is not comfy and due to the rare use very dusty leading to allergic responsesthe main beds are great and super comfy.. the small cosmetics are great ( additional comment and fifth Star added as I Receiver a complementary package of the before mentioned cosmetics with a handwritten note... Proofing how great the people and this Hotel are)

Fantastic food selection, oysters, crab, king prawns, smoked salmon, various salads, cured meats, cheeses, roast dinners with all the trimmings, amazing dessert selection and extremely kind and generous staff especially with the coffees and copious amounts of prosecco.Absolutely loved it

Wow. Where do I start?! NH Kensington is by far the best hotel I have ever been to! Cosy and lovely bar area with comfortable seating and comforting music in the background. Hotel has a really nice and quiet garden, it appears that everything is well maintained and staying in the garden during the hot summer days with Aperol Spritz makes me always feel so special! Cannot recommend highly enough. Breakfast and Tapas is a foodie dream. Fantastic choice and quality. The octopus from the Tapas menu was served along with potatoes, aioli and some smoked paprika dressing. Now to the real stars of the hotel. The staff. At every turn you’re greeted by friendly and genuine staff members. The staff is lovely . I cannot wait to get back.

Great hotel in a very good location, not far from either Earl’s Court or Gloucester road tube stations. Walkable distance to the museums and the Royal Albert Hall.Room comfy, clean,the bed was enormous ( my daughter is still talking about it!), has everything you might need( iron, fridge, kettle)Staff knowledgeable and very approachable and friendly.Breakfast delicious- including options for the little ones.Free Wifi sufficient.We are already planning a return!Thank you!

Unfortunately the room looked dirty and very visibly worn.The sink had cracks, the wallpaper was torn in places with dark marks and the carpet had seen better days. I wondered if we had instead booked at a Hostel by mistake.The elevator worked on and off, we opted for the stairs but it took time to actually find them due to the poor sign posting.Other than this we found the staff polite and friendly.Please note that this hotel appears to be largely Spanish orientated for some reason.

Calm and cozy hotel not far from anywhere if you stay here. A bus stop at the doorstep and earls court station few minutes away. Somehow noises from other rooms could be heard especially when someone enters his room it sounds like opening your room! Maybe because it is too quiet. Another thing which is remarkable is that the hotel is a disabled-friendly hotel.

Excellent location in the heart of Kensington district, 5 minutes walking distance to the metro station, direct line to Piccadilly.Staff was really cooperative, friendly and efficient helping us to organise a birthday surprise for a friend. Special thanks for this! Definitely highly recommended hotel!

Very nice hotel very well located for a leisure weekend. Warm & helpful staff speaking also spanish. The bar is 🔝, with some board games to have fun with friends or family.

When we travel we always look for an NH Hotel since they all excellent. Before booking in London I called to ask if there was air conditioning, yes, air conditioning. I cannot sleep without air and they said yes.The hotel controls the air or heater, not the guests so I had to call reception and ask them to turn the ac on in my room. I’m sorry but it does not work because it’s winter, they said. REALLY? After I complained, they turned it on. Every single night we had to call and the same speech from the receptionist. I dtayed 7 nights. The funniest one was from a man that said that the rest of the guests were complaning. It happened to be that my uncle was at another room and he had the heater on. So who was complaining. All kind of lies!!No outlets in the room, only one behind the TVBreakfast was ok. Location was excellentVery disappointed!

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff at reception were all extremely nice and helpful. The location was convenient for us and theres plenty of restaurants and grocery stores nearby. Oh, and the hair dryer worked really well, in case you want to save some space in your luggage.

Nice hotel in a nice area with a bus stopJust in front of the main door. Also metro station earls court is two blocks away so the hotel can be easily reach walking from metro station. The staff is nice, friendly and helpful, a special mention to Ana. Rooms are on the small size but are clean and well appointed. Buffet breakfast is very good but curiously on Sunday was best than the other days. Good option for staying in London.

Good hotel with a fine breakfast selection. Biggest plus was the helpful staff that tried to accommodate us as best they could. For some reason they all speak Spanish, which was a little odd. Shower head was hanging way too low, but otherwise we had a good time there.

clean but the requirement that all visitors to your room leave their passport or id at check-in is definitely a problem. this rule is stated in the hotel policy book. it states clearly that visitors are only allowed to visit the hotel guests with prior approval from the management. please look at the pictures in the review to see a clear photograph of this rule in print. the staff is very friendly and the place is clean and in a good location. it has a nice garden which opens at 9 a.m.

It’s ok. It’s not great but it’s also not the worst place I’ve ever stayed at. The room/bath is a decent size. It’s also quiet, which I liked. But the rooms overall could use a slight update.

Really happy with this hotel. The lady behind the counter was really friendly and helpful. She gave us a map of London and circled all the highlights for us and gave us tips on where to go. Our room is spacious and it has a bathtub! Really good location as well because Earle Court Train Station is about 7 mins walk away. Plenty of restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Shopping, and the Natural History Museum was about 20 mins walk.

This is a lovely hotel . You feel so calm as soon as you walk off the street through the doors into the spacious reception area.A major plus is the garden area at the rear of the hotel - a rarity indeed for a Kensington hotel.Breakfast is beautiful too, and includes pastries, cereals, fresh fruit and a lovely cooked breakfast. These are all buffet style , and are served in the spacious restaurant.Our room (405overlooked the garden and was very quiet at all times. All in all, a wonderful stay for a theatre trip for my wife and I, & we will certainly be back sometime.

Great room and the service staff was very nice and friendly. Great and clean hotel with a beautiful outdoor patio and a great location near many local pubs and eateries. All positives here at the NH, I highly recommend!

Reception people are nice and flexiable. Hotel is clean . Loaction is very convenient. The reason i put 3 stars is that the house keeping lady entered the room while we are in it without knocking on the door, could have been undressed, when we told her very nicely if she can knock next time ..she gave us a dirty look and left without saying a word.

Overall was alright thanks to attentive staffs there. Many of the equipments in the room werent working properly, such as a broken wall plug the one under the TV (they werent able to fixed it or perhaps forgot all about it despite us been repeatedly remind them on this), clogged up sink but they fixed this, unflushable toilet but they fixed this, smelly room however they offered us a room replacement but after repeated requests, leaked shower head, funny looking security lock (using a chain with unsecured anchor where I even can simply remove the anchor screws with a spoon for serious), door lock not working properly, detached blinds but they fixed this.

We thoroughly enjoyed all 13 nights we stayed at the hotel. Perfect location near the tube station and bus stop. Definitely a four star hotel. Other than our room keycards deactivating about every day and a slight attitude from front desk staff when fixing it, all the employees were great. Rooms are pretty darn spacious for Europe. Breakfast is absolutely worth the cost. High quality delicious items. There is also a superstar on the staff who really impressed my wife and I. I wish I could remember his name but he is a younger, thin gentleman with glasses. Im pretty sure he was working all day every day during our stay. We would wake up at 7:00 and he would be working the buffet and when we came back to the hotel for the night, he would be closing up the bar. Im pretty sure he was pulling 14 to 16 hour days and he always served us with a smile and an upbeat attitude. Got us everything that we needed. If he isnt already, he needs to be a manager because his work ethic is second to none. Promote him now!Again, it was a great stay and nh hotel will be our go to hotel on all our trips to London.

Friendly, knowledgeable, quick and helpful staff. Good sized rooms for the price and location. Resembles small rooms in the states. Linens were fresh and clean and the room had nice big windows well lit. I stood on the 4th floor so cant speak for the other floors.

Great location, service and breakfast. Staff was friendly and helpful to work with. But the room was lacking for the quialty and price of the hotel. Our room GL 11 was very quiet and clean but very outdated and beat up with a musty smell. Otherwise I would rate 5 🌟.

Was impressed at the size of the room and bed, which was huge and very comfortable. Great location close to Earls Court tube station. Room was very quiet despite being on a busy road. Would definitely recommend for a reasonably priced stay in this part of London

Nice location, lovely English breakfast, room was okay, the bathroom was good but shower inside the bath tub, that was a bit dissapointing. The location was perfect, close to metro Earls Court and a lovely neighbourhood. The service was awful, our toilet was leaking and we asked the staff 3 times if they could do something about it but not a single time they even looked at it.

The price was good and the room was clean, but the service wasnt impressive. The climate control in our room was broken and never got fixed, and we only got one light key so only part of the room could be lit at a time. Once the light key was even removed during housekeeping.
